The system itself worked pretty good. I like that I could see where my vehicles were at any time. The customer service, and basic human decency, is nonexistent within this company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This company writes contracts that will rope you into a much longer term than you want. Their "evergreen clause", which is a sign of an unethical company in itself, requires you to notify them 90 days before your 3 year contract expires!! If you do not cancel your contract, in writing, 90 days before it expires, it will auto-renew for another year, and they will hold you to another year!!
If you accidentally lose a unit, guess what, you have to continue to pay the monthly fees on the lost unit, for the entire term of the contract, you can't just pay for the cost of the lost unit.
The response from management..........."I don't write the contracts, I just uphold them." Nice way to run your company Omnitracs!!
This company has no regard for basic common courtesy, or human decency, and I will never recommend, or use them ever again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have been using Omnitracs for our Tracking and Electronic Logging system for over 15 years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to log in and use for daily tracking tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been using this software for 15 years and the best thing about it is the reliability of the software. I've rarely had downtime using it to route our meal delivery trucks due to the software. Also close to realtime monitoring of all the deliveries is a nice feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only issue I've encountered that might qualify as a dislike is how involved it was to update versions once you fall several versions behind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Real-time order/fleet location is nice. The mobile app for iPads are efficient and easy to use especially when needing to capture signatures. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The maps should be updated more frequently and in an easier matter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It helps us track all our hours and ensure we don't drive when we aren't supposed to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Logging in and out for different drivers is a bit inconvenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Real time GPS tracking is handy within qtracks. We're able to pull up entire fleets at once or narrow down to a driver by name or by unit which is handy. Can also select truck ON map view which is a great feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Minimal integration with mapping software. Having to use bing maps vs Google maps or God forbid we get a Google earth plugin. I have to copy paste GPS data in order to pull up a truck in Google earth which will then allow me to map truck to known locations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
