SolarWinds LEM has not bogged down with the amount of logging data we throw at it. This is comforting because we can rest assure that we can continue to add new nodes to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While the initial setup was straightforward, customizations to reports can be a little daunting. Luckily SolarWinds has videos available on steps to proceed and their tech support reps are very helpful too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has connectors that allows you to get alerts that are proprietary to certain types of equipment and vendors. Great Reporting and alerts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Building the filters is pretty tough. We get so many alerts that it is hard to deal with. It would be nice if the filter building would be a little easier. We are a small department and it is hard to be an expert at everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When we initially deployed this product we were looking for something to fill many roles to include a syslog server to archive sensitive logs, event detection and alerting for common issues like failed circuits and password lockouts, attempts to log in with privileged accounts, and any infrastructure changes such as changes to Microsoft AD. I could not ask for more from this vendor. Updates are clearly communicated. We have had very few reasons to contact support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are tools for so many different pieces that we are looking to implement. Integration is easy when it is all on the same plateform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Finding what credentials are being used on what systems. For example we have one credential being used on two nodes but we do not know the nodes. It would be really nice to see what nodes the creds are used on quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
