**What do you like best about Softr?**

Customer support is great. AI our Builder is great to use. Vibe coder is great to use to build custom block. Easy to set up databases and link databases . Easy to preview your UI created for understanding how your product will look to your customers easy to integrate with Slack. The system is quick. And the pricing is very much competitive and affordable compared to other products out there.

**What do you dislike about Softr?**

Nothing particularly I dislike about Softr. The only thing that I would consider is more integrations. Potentially having the AI credits more visible so you don't use them all in one go or you have a constant view of it ,

**What problems is Softr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Softr is helping me build a unified multi-tenant portal to help create visibility for the team and help create a better onboarding experience for property owners. It's helping me visualize while I build and figure out solutions to improve the user journeys for both team and clients. Also looking at better ways to improve the experience

**What do you like best about Softr?**

I find Softr to be the easiest system to connect a database to, which is great for providing updates to a live application. As someone less technical and unable to code, I find it helpful that working with a database in Softr is similar to an Excel spreadsheet, making it familiar and easier for organizing thoughts. I also think that Softr is designed better for someone like me with less technical aptitude in coding. The initial setup was very easy for me since I used the AI assistant, which I thought was very in tune with what I was looking for and had better capabilities than other software I had tried.

**What do you dislike about Softr?**

Maybe some instruction on custom coding and how that affects things prior to implementing.

**What problems is Softr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Softr to create a directory easily by connecting a database and providing live application updates. It's great for non-technical users like me, as it's easy to set up and similar to Excel for database handling.

**What do you like best about Softr?**

I love Softr's no code feature because it allowed me to quickly create and launch multiple web applications across different regions, like India and the USA, without a complex setup. The ease of use is a big plus for me, and I appreciate the support from the team. Their clean and user-friendly interface is great, and the team is always helpful with queries. I find their wonderful community page super useful for common questions. I also enjoy the integrations with other tools, which help me convert a database into a searchable and organized platform. The transition from idea to a working product is incredibly fast. Their videos made the initial setup easy, and I’m glad for the flexibility with blocks now available to customize as needed.

**What do you dislike about Softr?**

Earlier, the blocks and options were less, however, now with many blocks they have given the ability to the user to change it as we need it.

**What do you like best about Softr?**

I like the possibility of connecting a custom domain even in the free plan. I appreciate the wide availability of integrations, the database, and the integrated workflows. It's fantastic to be able to create portals without writing a line of code quickly but with great results. I found it useful to switch from Airtable's backend to Softr's internal database to avoid API limits. Moreover, with Softr, I was able to replace a WordPress site and a management system made in Excel. I recommend Softr because it is truly revolutionary.

**What do you dislike about Softr?**

The prices of the plans didn't seem cheap to me, I'm still on the free plan. Sometimes I need to make a quick change but it's not possible from the smartphone.

**What problems is Softr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Softr, I can create no-code portals quickly while maintaining a strong visual impact. I can connect a custom domain even with the free plan, and the integrations and internal database eliminate the need for external tools.

**What do you like best about Softr?**

I've been using airtable and couldn't find a decent interface the combined the two. Softr gave me great options to integrate all the needs i had using the database with an external interface for a non-technical staff with an extremely reasonable cost. 

It's been amazing how well my staff has adapted to using it on all devices. Finding ways to show data, while using the automations and linking in airtable, but a very easy to access external facing user experience.

**What do you dislike about Softr?**

There's some limitations around the forms; not able to do enough customization. In general the "usability" and ease of it does leave to some default blocks where i wish i had more control with the views/design. However, "vibe" coding has been helpful since i can work with the coding and scripts myself.

**What problems is Softr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My staff had been using a mix of programs to record data and notes (Teams, Dropbox, Google, Word, Excel). Using Dropbox, I created a centralized hub that links all of it together, so our data is connected and works as one system. Nothing is separate unless it truly needs to be.

This setup helps us measure performance and capacity, locate, identify, and review assets, and deliver and organize notes. It also makes it easier to comment and create discussion around everything in the hub. While we don’t use Softr’s native commenting system, we developed our own that lets us comment across every table and interface we have in airtables.

**What do you like best about Softr?**

I love how seamlessly Softr connects with our table, as we're heavily reliant on it, and it works perfectly, like magic. The personalization options are fantastic; when there's something I need, I can usually accomplish it, and if not, I can easily add a bit of code, which is easier now with all the AI tools available. Softr meets all our needs as a 'less is more' tool, and we really like it. The integration with our table means we have all our data synced, which helps our team update client projects effectively. It syncs in the best way we could imagine.

**What do you dislike about Softr?**

I think sometimes it may lack a bit of obvious features that we need, like accesses and visibility for different clients. We'd like a setup where different clients using the same page can only see their own information. The accessibility and visibility checks are always manual, so it'd be great if Softr could handle this automatically. Also, we feel it lacks some options like markdowns and direct commenting capabilities, which is why we're trying to connect it with Notion.

**What problems is Softr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Softr centralizes client communication, eliminating back and forth through multiple tools like Notion or Slack. It provides clients a branded personal space, ensuring they access project status and reinforce our brand image.

easy to use, a lot of possibilities to create an app very fast, the AI vibe-coding is quite good but not enough tokens sometime. The support team is quick to respond and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Softr?**

Sometimes it is limited on development choices (when I tried to use an image behind text, I couldn't choose the size or it isn't responsive) but can be covered by AI vibe coding. I haven't yet used or tried all the possibilities of SoftR.

Easy to create an internal platform for my internal users to fill out their product details and metrics.

**What do you like best about Softr?**

The application is feature rich and the team is frequently making improvements and releasing very useful updates. I've used other no code applications like Noloco & Glide and I found Softr to be the more polished no code builder of the three. They also have native databases which saves me an additional cost of outside data sources

**What do you dislike about Softr?**

There are a few rudimentary features that are still missing. Things like range filters, filter reset buttons, drag & drop file upload fields. Additionally, the record limits does not make sense to me. There is a app record limit and a higher account record limit. I should be able to use my account record limit across as many apps as I'd like.

**What problems is Softr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was able to build a front end site for our customers and an employee intraweb together. Prior to this I was using two separate applications for each purpose. Softr is flexible enough where both could now be built alongside each other.

**What do you like best about Softr?**

I love the ease with which I can link my Airtable database with Softr. Every time I change something on Softr, it also reflects on Airtable. Thanks to Softr, my clients now have a clear portal to see the products we offer. This also allows me to immediately see on my Airtable database the comments left by clients and to adapt my offerings according to their expectations.

**What do you dislike about Softr?**

The button system, I would like to be able to make it so that when I press my validated button, the button can enlarge or there is a clear animation. Currently, there is just a message that appears for 5 seconds and it is not obvious enough to show that the customer has already chosen this product. It may be that I haven't found the feature to do that yet. Also, the initial setup of Softr was a bit difficult, but it was made easier with the help of AI.

I use Softr to create a client portal that facilitates contact with the client. It easily connects to my Airtable database, so I can directly see what the client chooses and the feedback left. This helps me offer products that better meet my clients' expectations.

I like how easy Softr is to use, yet it's flexible enough to cover all of the different use cases that we want. It only took a couple of days to build the entire portal, including the permission leveling and all of the custom workflows. I also appreciate the back end databases that Softr provides and how it connects to our database. The setup was very easy too; we were up and running in just a couple of hours.

I wish there's a better way to connect to our database to generate a reporting dashboard for our customers.

It was intuitive to figure out. When I was using it for the first time, I was able to get a fully functional client portal working in a week, with extremely minimal prior coding experience.

**What do you dislike about Softr?**

I don't have a particular standout dislike. If I had to be picky, I lost a lot of time recently trying to figure out where the conditional filters for dropdowns were, but had I asked support instead of AI from the beginning, it would've been faster.

**What problems is Softr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In commercial and industrial roofing, there were not many good options for CRMs. Except for one, but it cost thousands of dollars a month. Instead, I used Softr to build our own CRM that I would consider better than some professional ones in the marketplace, and close to rivaling the very expensive one. I don't have to pay for a ton of features I won't use, and simply build all the ones I want, exactly how I want them.

**What do you like best about Softr?**

What I like most about Softr is how approachable it is as a true no-code tool. I’m not a developer, but I was able to understand the interface quickly and start building a functional MVP without feeling overwhelmed. The page builder is intuitive, the blocks are clearly labeled, and the logic behind connecting data sources makes sense even if you don’t have a technical background.

I personally use Softr to build web apps and internal tools on top of Airtable, and the integration between the two is one of the biggest strengths. Connecting a table, mapping fields, setting up list views, detail pages, and basic user permissions felt very natural. I was honestly surprised by how much I was able to build in a single night - login, gated content, dynamic lists, and a clean front-end - without writing a single line of code.

I also appreciate how quickly you can iterate. If I want to change a layout, adjust visibility rules, or tweak styling, I can do it in minutes and immediately see the result. That speed is huge for validating ideas and building MVPs without sinking weeks into development.

**What do you dislike about Softr?**

One challenge I’ve run into is that you can’t easily preview or explore your full database directly inside Softr, which means I still have to jump back into Airtable pretty often to understand or troubleshoot data issues. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it can slow things down when you’re iterating quickly.

Another issue I’ve noticed is related to documentation and AI support. I often use ChatGPT to help me think through logic, conditions, or layout ideas, but Softr has evolved quickly. The interface headings and section names have changed over time (for example: Source, Content, Actions, Styles, and Visibility), and some AI-generated guidance can be slightly out of date. Once I explicitly tell ChatGPT which Softr UI labels I’m seeing, it adjusts and works fine — but it’s something new users should be aware of.

Overall, these are more workflow friction points than major problems, but better in-app data visibility and always-up-to-date docs would make the experience even smoother.

Softr solves the problem of turning raw data into a usable, polished interface without needing engineering resources. For me, it bridges the gap between “I have an idea and a database” and “I have a real app people can actually use.”

Instead of relying on developers or struggling with custom code, I can build dashboards, client portals, and MVP products myself. That’s been incredibly empowering and has saved me a lot of time and money. It allows me to focus on validating ideas, refining user experience, and shipping faster — which is exactly what I need as a non-technical builder.

I liked the AI feature in Softr as it helped in parts and gave me ideas. It also taught me about layout and how to set it up. The initial setup was relatively easy enough.

It took me a while to learn the dialect, and I'm still unsure whether I will need to pay for the service but time will tell. It would have been a much more professional job if the AI could have been linked to the player's data.

Handles users, auth, security, domains and routing. Fun integrations such as Airtable. Some good UI components. Custom code can be powerful but tedious. Great customer support

**What do you dislike about Softr?**

The UI options for most components are extremely rudimentary. For example there is no way modify horizontal padding. This results in having to use custom code more often that I would like. However:

1. The DOM is built in such a way that often makes it very difficult to modify UI with custom code. Very often, I find myself having to write an entire component in custom code instead of using a native component.

2. There is no way to store secrets for custom code, meaning you will need to hardcode your secrets in the client-side code (which you shouldnt). So you are stuck between using Softr's basic components and security malpractice.

Gets an app up and running very quickly (infrastructure, user management, security etc.. are taken care of)

I love how Softr allows me to store all my data and create user login options, showing each user their relevant information. The design is very customizable and sleek, which gives it a professional appearance. I appreciate the abundance of automations and AI helpers packed within the software. The initial setup was also very easy for me and my team. I'm also impressed that they are adding new features regularly.

The database is limited in terms of quantity. I feel it could improve by having bigger databases without asking for custom pricing, similar to Airtable.

I love that Softr integrates seamlessly with Airtable, or really any data source, which makes it super easy to configure. The internal video courses and tutorials are very helpful, especially since there's a bit of a learning curve. But once you figure out the functionality, it's pretty fun to build on top of the data you already have. The Client Portal course has taught me a lot about Softr, in general, so I feel like I'll have a better understanding of it for future apps.

**What do you dislike about Softr?**

There were a couple things with the data not syncing to the custom user groups, but I'm not sure if that was on Airtable's side or on Softr's side. But I was able to figure it out by just deleting the data in Airtable and entering it again. Also, it does require a little bit of patience and a learning curve, so it might not be something that everybody wants to learn.

I have been using Softr to create efficiencies for my clients and freelancers, allowing them to communicate and me to have a bird's eye view of everything. It makes the experience more cohesive and enjoyable for all users.

**What do you like best about Softr?**

I would say, first, the customization that I can do for each of my clients based on their style is great. With Softr, I can easily share and control all the elements I use and customize things like font style and colors for my clients. That's a big advantage for me because it means I can tailor solutions to each client's needs, especially in the ecommerce product and data analysis niche. The ability to integrate with different databases, not just Google Sheets, makes everything really fast and valuable. Also, the initial setup was really easy thanks to the Softr Academy, which I found to be a good resource.

**What do you dislike about Softr?**

I find the filter option with Google Sheets to be really time consuming. When it comes to synchronization based on categories, Softr cannot sync all the columns as categories, so I need to type them one by one. This is especially cumbersome if I want filters based on geographic locations or if I have up to 50 categories to import. I think the integration could be better.

I use Softr as the front end for automations I offer to clients. It allows easy data sharing and customization of client solutions by brand needs, which helps me focus on backend improvements and fulfill diverse project requirements effectively.

I love that Softr is a one-stop shop with things like UI, databases, workflows, and APIs. Its ease of use is fantastic, very beginner-friendly, yet it can handle complexity if needed. As a solo founder, it makes shipping quickly and making adjustments on the go easier. The onboarding was smooth and not tedious, and I haven’t had to use other tools since Softr is so all-in-one. I appreciate their UI customization, which Airtable lacks.

**What do you dislike about Softr?**

Scalability as you grow, the ability to add-on for more things beyond the ones offered by whatever tier one is signed up for, on demand. For example if I only want to add 100 more user slots or 100,000 more database records I pay for that, that would be nice.

**What do you like best about Softr?**

I like that Softr allows for integrations which help us have all our software data in one place. The building process is intuitive, making it easy to use. I also appreciate that they are always growing and adding new features, like the Global Search which lets users search across the app, and the workflow AI co-builder that constructs workflows with just a description or even writes JavaScript or Python for me. The initial setup was as easy as it can be, and I rate my likelihood to recommend Softr as a 10.

**What do you dislike about Softr?**

REST APIs should have conditional formatting, because it's important to have data in a structured way that takes context into account. Other things not working for REST APIs are search, filters, and sorting. Another very useful feature would be in workflows, the ability to make a workflow where when a form is filled, it fills the entered data into a document and sends it through email to a custom recipient as a PDF doc, this would be very useful for Talent Acquisition teams for example (they want to send a job offer to a successful candidate, they fill the form, it automatically fills the data into the designated fields in a template document, they receive/download the completed job offer). One other thing, I don't love that when I duplicate an app, that I must separately duplicate a database, as it takes an incredibly long time to reconnect a duplicated database to a newly duplicated app.

The primary reason I decided to use Softr was for it's user access management system. You can easily make groups of users based on conditions in your data base and then give each group access to specific pages based on user group. The magic link system is simple and streamlined for users that are not always adept at using computers. 

In addition the connection to the data base is plug and play. Feeding data to a data base from forms is super easy.

The primary improvement that I would like to see is the ability to run a custom code block that has react.js or some other styling support. There have been a couple of situation that it made more sense to write my own code for a section and the styling support is essentially vanilla css and js.

What I like most about Softr is how easy it is to get something real up and running fast. I’m not a developer (limited experience with javascript, css, and html), but the no-code interface is intuitive and the blocks make sense for the most part. I could build a working app in hours instead of weeks. The Airtable integration is a huge win for connecting live data and instantly seeing it reflected in the app. The templates are helpful when you’re starting from scratch, and customer support has been consistently responsive and friendly whenever I’ve gotten stuck, but has needed to escalate all the issues I've surfaced thus far. Overall, it feels like Softr is built for people who want to move quickly without overthinking everything.

**What do you dislike about Softr?**

Softr can feel limiting once you want more control. Design customization is probably my biggest frustration. You can only tweak things so much before you hit a wall, and it can be hard to get things looking exactly how you want without custom CSS. Some advanced functionality just isn’t there yet, especially for complex logic, filtering, or workflows. Performance can also dip when working with larger datasets, and a few integrations outside of Airtable feel less polished. Pricing jumps a bit faster than expected as you scale, which makes you think twice if you’re building something long-term.

Softr solves the problem of needing custom software without the cost, time, or complexity of traditional development. Instead of relying on engineers or duct-taping together spreadsheets and tools, I can build exactly what I need myself. I am particularly frustrated by the limitations with Softr's search function. Currently, the find feature only allows me to search within the content visible on the screen. I appreciate the simplicity of Softr, and the fact that it is a very comprehensive tool. In addition to the Front, it also offers a database, workflows, and forms, while integrating with a large number of No-Code tools. The onboarding is quite simple and we are well guided, which allows us to see the results very quickly.

I would like there to be even more customization, even more options to multiply the possibilities.
