I was set up for success early on with an onboarding specialist, who was always available and helpful. I enjoy the training videos and support community for help with some of the less intuitive features. Without a doubt, the best feature is the forms, templates and workflows which are highly customizable. I do mostly transactional work and do not "reinvent the wheel" so it is extremely helpful for me to open files quickly based on templates and get right to work. I wish that Smokeball was compatible with Mac, or if it had a web browser version to use on the go. I also wish it could set rates for types of matters since I often work on fixed fee. Also, it was easier in my old software to track aging receivables/unpaid invoices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that smokeball is always updating. We have been using them for 8 years or so and it has gone from a simple cloud based document sharing and work production software to integrating much more and basically all aspects of our practice, inclduing billing, ordering title, and court filings. I also live how responsive and helpful their customer service is, when i have an issue I do not hesitate to contact them and I know it will be resolved timely (if not right away) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
