We appreciate how efficiently Smith.ai filters out solicitors. It is also very effective at determining whether a caller is a genuine customer prospect or simply someone browsing. Most of the time, the transition between the AI receptionist and the live operator is handled smoothly.

A small number of callers are put off when they realize an AI receptionist is handling their call. This reaction isn't related to how the Smith.ai receptionist actually handles the conversation; rather, it stems from some people simply not being comfortable with the technology itself.

Recently we have had an increase in AI robo scam calls. We had a large increase in call volume because of this - Support suggested we move to a higher tier to avoid the overage charges and to work with our phone provider. It's disappointing because this could have been an opportunity for them to not only rectify a bad customer experience but potentially improve the product for others down the line.

We love Smith.ai! The integration was smooth and the customer care we get for all our needs is beyond next level. We started with one location and a few months ago added another. Everyone is so nice and helpful and touch base with you even when you have not asked. They just like to keep in touch so you know they are there and available. True relationship experts! Thank you for being so easy to work with. Just to mention a few names: Hillary, Jose, and Jennifer and several others.

Smith.ai is growing and expanding all the time. It would be great if there were more features like expanded text messaging and auto voicemail drops but maybe that is something that will be coming down the line in the future.  They are very receptive to needed features.

Smith.ai ensures that no customer inquiry or lead gets missed. Even after hours or during peak call times by helping us with 24/7 coverage. It filters spam or irrelevant calls, it knows if customers are current or new and provides our scripted messages to that customer type. We often use their live agents as well to confirm information so our customers can still talk to a real person when needed. We use this in our corporate office as well as at our very busy nursery.

It is very intuitive. I cannot believe how accurate the messages are. I worried that my callers might hate it, but that worry was soon put to rest when people started going out of their way to tell me that they liked it. Messages are delivered to me almost immediately. Good service overall.

I can't really think of anything negative, to be honest.

They have an excellent AI Receptionist that works well for my solo physical therapy practice. I like that I can program the AI to react differently for FAQs and directions as well as allow a frustrated caller to connect to a real person.

It picks up much faster then I can, so I will often have to wait for the AI to toggle through it's series of questions before I can try calling a customer back.

The most important feature is the fast setup of the service and how you can set up exactly what the needs are for your particular business. Set up took less than an hour and their team was extremely helpful. We route all of our calls thru the service and have received positive reviews from our clients. Smith AI surpassed our expectations and we well continue to use in our daily business operations.

The only downside if it had any would be that I would like a choice of more voices for the service.

Handles the front end of our calls well.  Allows us to effectively filter out spam and unwanted junk calls.  Integrates with our CRM via Zapier and provides helpful email notifications on a timely manner.

No real downsides after 3 months of us. I need to adjust some prompts to make things a little clearer for AI when narrowing down with caller, but I believe that is more of my setup than AI issue.

I love how Smith.ai lets me filter calls effortlessly—I can choose which callers go straight to voicemail and even mark spam so it never clogs up my phone. We get a lot of spam calls, and this feature makes everything so much easier in the long run.

I also really appreciate the call-scheduling feature. It automatically books appointments based on my calendar, so I don’t have to enter anything manually. It saves me a ton of time and ensures I never miss an important call.

I wish that the summary were consistent some are very detailed and some are not.

We use this service for after hours calls to improve upon the efficiency of voicemail.  We like that it blocks spam calls and answers basic questions such as hours of operation and areas of practice.  This cuts down on the number of calls the team has to return when the office re-opens. Reading the summary of the call also saves time over listening to a voicemail recording.  We also like the option for callers to provide more information via text.

I would prefer to be able to toggle the service on/off based on hours of the day rather than control that by forwarding our phone line.

Spam is a big problem and Smith.ai has solved that problem.

Easy to use.  Well priced.  Sounds great.  Bilingual and intelligent.

Some callers hate it that it's not a real person.

**What do you like best about Smith.ai AI Receptionist?**

I never answer my phone anymore and SmithAI deals with all the spam sales calls I get and if a client or prospect calls, they book an appointment. The receptionist says she's AI right away but doesn't really sound like it. Its pretty slick. Customer support is awesome too!

**What do you dislike about Smith.ai AI Receptionist?**

When I originally singed up, the AI person would ask the caller for all their info and then transfer them to a live person to set an actual meeting... AND they would ask for all the same info again. That annoyed prospects for sure. They don't do that anymore though. Getting to a point where the AI person just books the appointment will make it even smoother.

**What problems is Smith.ai AI Receptionist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to field all the spam calls I get AND they set appointments for prospects.
