## Slido Reviews
  ### 1. I love the live view of ratings or polls.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richmond N. | Programs and Research Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

It is easy to set up and publish. I greatly like the part that viewers or respondents get live feedback on polls or other inputs they make.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I can't think of anything I dislike about except maybe that it is an online tool, but again, that is what it is meant to be for the purpose it serves, so I don't think this qualifies as a dislike.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking a live poll can be daunting especially because you want to engage the audience who may not be bothered and interested. Slido solves this challenge by first making the solution live and interactive and then making it look nice and engaging. Example is their word cloud feature which i like the most.

  ### 2. Strategic Planning Exellence thanks to Slido!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy F. | President/CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

At the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce, we recently used Slido’s word cloud feature as part of our SWOT analysis during our board’s strategic planning session, and it was a game-changer.

Slido was incredibly easy to set up and use, making it simple to engage our board members in a meaningful and interactive way. The platform allowed us to collect real-time, anonymous feedback, which encouraged honest insights and thoughtful contributions. Seeing key themes emerge visually in the word cloud helped us quickly identify our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, creating a dynamic and productive discussion.

We highly recommend Slido for any organization looking to enhance engagement and streamline collaborative brainstorming. It’s a powerful tool that truly adds value to strategic planning sessions!

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

One limitation of Slido is that the free version only allows up to three polls, which may be restrictive for larger planning sessions. However, the platform's ease of use and effectiveness in gathering anonymous feedback still make it a valuable tool for strategic discussions.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We planned a SWOT Analysis for our Board strategic planning meeting, and Slido made the process seamless. It allowed us to gather honest and anonymous feedback from our board members in real time, eliminating the need for advance emails, paper handouts, or lengthy discussions. The ease of use and instant visualization through the word cloud feature helped us quickly identify key themes, making our session more efficient and engaging.

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2025

This is a very user friendly software/application and I loved using this. Can be use in order to know if my audience is actively participating in the discussion at the same time a best way for interaction.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

This is my first time to use Slido and so far as a beginner, no problem for me.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So far no problem for me. This is beneficial during discussion and interaction with the listener. Slido quiz helps me know if my participants is active during the discussion.

  ### 4. Slido; a great app for conferences

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jorge Alejandro S. | University professor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido is a fantastic tool for conferences. It's incredibly easy to use and implement, making it perfect for professors and students alike. I use it every week to attract my students. Getting thier feedback is easier and they are not shy anymore to share their ideas.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

While I love Slido, I do wish it had more customization options for branding, as it's nice to add a personal touch to presentations.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido solves the problem of keeping large classes engaged and communicating effectively. With its interactive features like live polls and Q&A, students stay involved and can ask questions anonymously, which encourages participation. The real-time feedback helps me understand their grasp of the material, allowing me to adjust my teaching accordingly. Plus, it integrates seamlessly with other educational tools, saving me time. Overall, it enhances the learning experience and makes my job a lot easier.

  ### 5. Excellent for participants engagement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Irena C. | Lead Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

The best thing about Slido is that it is easy to use, gives plenty of options and helps bring any workshop, meeting, or icebreaker to a next level.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

The downside is that I need to pay attention to dates and timeframe when the poll is active, and to make sure I check everything one more time close ti the event.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use slido when I need quick overview of the group knowledge or opinion, or when I want to engage people in a quick and simple way. This is a benefit because I get information very quickly.

  ### 6. A fantastic tool for interactive workshop

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SAI SRINIVASAN B. | Manager 1 Software Development and Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I recently used Slido for a closed workshop with a medium-sized audience and was thoroughly impressed.

As a free user, I explored nearly all available features and they delivered beyond expectations.

The platform is simple, intuitive, and highly functional, making it easy to set up polls, Q&As, and quizzes on the fly. What stood out most was the seamless engagement it enabled throughout the session.
Participants were actively involved, and the real-time visibility into engagement metrics gave me valuable insights into audience interaction.

Sildo truly elevated the quality of the session. Highly recommended for anyone looking to boost participation and make their sessions more dynamic.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Multichoice Multi Question Poll would be a value add

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Drive high quality User Engagement for presentations and workshops

  ### 7. Slido is an easy way to engage an audience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melanie L. | Associate Professor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido is very inuitive to set up quesitons and polls. It makes trying to collect quick information from an audience very seamless and easy with live results. Slido also saves your data so you can go back and revisit your results if you need to work with this data. It offers lots of question format options and easily integrates into MS powerpoint or google slides. They also have a newer plug-in for zoom but I have yet to try it.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

The integration with powerpoint can be buggy at times, causing it to crash. You also have to ensure you have a stable internet connection to present, collect and display results in real time.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido allows for easier implementation of active learning techiniques in higher education and academia. As an instructor, I can use slido to gather quick feedback from students to spark conversation or do a quick assessment of learning or understanding. In professional presentations, it allows one to quickly get to know their audience, judge interest or knowledge on a topic, and gather feedback.

  ### 8. Excellent for the boardroom and classroom

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Staci M. | Director of Community Services/ Professor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

It keeps students and corporate learners engaged throughout the entire presentation. It allows me to integrate real time interactions with learners, track and collect data as well as innovate what is usually boring content! I've always received great feedback for audiences and the CEO of our agency as to the effectiveness of garnering insights into the audience, getting feedback and giving non verbal speakers the opportunity to contribute.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I wish it were more interesting to look at as opposed to plain beige

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido allows me to keep my students and corporate participants engaged, paying attention and interacting anonymously. I can easily track the data on the participants, gather informal data, have questions asked and answered. As a professor and corporate trainer this alows me to save time and be more effective in my trainings.

  ### 9. So simple to use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido is an extremely simple tool to use.
You just install the add-on on your computer and it's there, ready to be used in any presentation!
I used it to interact with an audience for a technical presentation. I have the impression that it helped captivate the attention, break the ice and change the whole dynamics: it's no longer a one-way information exchange!

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

With the free version, no visual aspects can be changed, which make the slido slides stand out from the rest

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Breaking the ice: making a technical presentation interactive and more captivating

  ### 10. A quick, colorful, fun way of engaging participants/ learners

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria M. | High School Math Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido is intuitive and easy to use even on Day 1. A variety of poll question types are available. The polls are pushed out using a QR code or a link. The results of the polls are instant and colorful. I teach at a virtual high school. I have been starting each class with a fun poll question and this allows me to build community in my virtual class. It's easy for me to drop the link to the poll into the chat in zoom. I also used Slido with colleagues, when I wanted their oppinion on something.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I asked a poll question and if students put in two words, without a space, the response went in as two separate words. Not sure if I did something wrong when I set the poll up.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inviting more student ideas about fun polls.

  ### 11. Interaction made easy with Slido

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carolyn C. | Head of Department, Edcucation, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido is great for fostering interaction and engagement during presentations, creating a more dynamic and inclusive environment during workshops for group size of 40 up to 120.

It allows participants to interact seamlessly with the presenter. Love the word clouds, which allow participants to share their thoughts and opinions in real time. This feature empowers attendees to have a voice, even those who may be less comfortable speaking up in traditional settings.

The immediate feedback provided through Slido is another remarkable aspect. As a presenter, this allows me to gauge the audience's understanding, adjust the pace of the presentation, or address specific areas of interest or confusion. This flexibility ensures that the presentation remains relevant and responsive to the participants' needs, leading to a more impactful session.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

It took me a while to learn how to reuse the slido slides.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

better engagement during training workshops.
i like the emails i receive after each session with Slido, but i would like to see more support when i using it within my powerpoint. Suggestions for improvement on how i use it?

  ### 12. Great for team building and Q&A sessions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

None that we can think of or became aware of

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collecting questions quickly anonymously and easily during retreats and team building exercises

  ### 13. Slido is AMAZING

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I love that slido is easy to use, both from a creation and presentation standpoint. Students can easily join it with a QR code or a short number code as opposed to typing a long website like I used to do with polleverywhere. It also seamlessly integrates with google slides and has the option to show results immediately or hide them until I click. I LOVE it.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Honestly, the only downside is that the free version only gives you 3 polls per presentation but it's a business so I get it.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido allows me to get a response from every student in class, whereas verbal responses mean only a few participate. It also allows students to answer anonymously so there's no shame in getting an answer wrong on practice licensure test questions.

  ### 14. Easy to use! Great for presentations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kameron B. | Academic Advisor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido was easy to use. I used it to conduct a quick poll for a professional presentation, and everything went smoothly. Great tool.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

The only thing I can think of is it may be helpful to make a bigger/easier/more noticeable button to advance from one poll question to the next. But overall everything worked great.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido helps me make my conference presentations more engaging and interactive. I really appreciate that aspect.

  ### 15. Slido is a game changer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

One of the best things about Slido is how easy and intuitive it is to use, and I appreciate the fact that I can get participant feedback/insights in real time. One of my teams regularly uses the word cloud option at the start of their monthly team meetings to find the most common, 'top of mind' topics to discuss. Another consistently uses quizzes to ensure everyone is on the same page - a great feature for your more competitive folks :)!

Additionally, customer support engagement is top-notch. Don't just take my word for it - attend a training webinar!

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I haven't found anything to dislike - I will certainly come back and edit if I do see a recommended improvement.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find that Slido keeps my audience engaged while providing me with real-time feedback/insight.

  ### 16. Slido Excellent for Presentions

**Reviewed by:** Jeff S. | Chairman, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2025

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

No dislikes, Slido was able to perform everything we required.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our audience is now so large as a group, we had engage digitally, to make key decisions together. With Slido this was very easy to do, and everything is very happy with this "way forward"

**Reviewed by:** Rachel S. | Pa to MD, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2025

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

There was nothing I dislike about Slido.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido has helped me host our Charity Quiz. It worked out the winner instantly and made it almost impossible for people to cheat due to the timer on questions.

ease of setting up product works well for the application we were using it for

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

nothing - the product works very good for our purposes

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using it as a quiz to gauge how a group were acknowledging and to ensure they had an understanding of the topics we were discussing and solving

  ### 20. Great for anonymous team feedback & engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

The QR code offers easy way to share polls, or questions with the team for their anonymous feedback. Creates great visual of the feedback such as word clouds or graphs. Can be used live during meetings to check in and ensure aims are being met

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

limited to three free questions. Would be useful if all questions were able to go 'live' at the same time. For use outside of real-time meetings and offer chance to provide feed back over a longer time frame. I am assuming this is limited to those who pay? Otherwise i have no negative feedback- its great

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

anonymous feedback easily collated from the team, creating a safe space for the team to give honest opinions

  ### 21. Transformed the workshop presentation

Ability to gauge customer’s interest and keep them engaged.

No support for Apple Mac Keynotes presentation.

Allow us to ask difficult questions that are hard to ask in person in a group setting

  ### 22. Practical and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

It is practical and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

For older adults (elderly), the use of new technologies becomes complicated.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In conferences, gather and summarize the audience's questions and allow filtering of the most important ones.

  ### 23. Great way to add interest and fun to a school PTO meeting!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido was incredibly easy to use for creating dynamic and engaging elements within our presentation. We used it to run a fun poll, set up a short quiz to select a winner, conduct a vote, and facilitate a Q&A session. I loved how it can integrate right into Google Slides to dynamically show results on screen as people answered on their phones.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

The free plan has a limited number of things you can add to one meeting, but it was enough for what we needed!

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This helps us make our meetings more interactive.

  ### 24. An essential tool for my presentations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daphne V. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2025

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to get real-time feedback and contributions for presentations as a facilitator.

  ### 25. Slido. Easy to use and works reliably.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan J. | Cybersecurity Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Apart from the easy integration with Google Slides, I like that it's well-designed and works simply and reliably for the audience. We recently presented to a large audience of Information Technology professionals using Slido for the first time, and it worked flawlessly.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

So far, I don't dislike anything. However, I would like a feature that removes the most popular choice from a poll slide and moves the remaining questions to the next poll question.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido allows us to make our presentations more engaging and interactive. We simulate a cybersecurity incident and then have the audience make decisions at each stage of the response. This experience is invaluable for our attendees.

  ### 26. Great for icebreaking or to create a fun moment during a long session (gamification always helps!)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Letizia C. | Freelance researcher and lecturer (university level). Which means I do everything university staff do, but i am hired only when needed., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

It is very easy to set up and I love its extensions in Google Slides: you do not need to interrupt your presentation to ask questions to the audience and you can share their answers directly on the same screen of your presentation (ease of integration). My audience loves when I test their knowledge with easy quizzes before showing data: by trying to understand if they were right or wrong their attention increases!

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

So far an unexpected and very positive interaction with their customer service (though I am using the free plan!) and I cannot find anything i dislike!

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps my students relax with fun/game-like exercises, so that I can draw their attention on the forthcoming topics

  ### 27. Very easy to navigate and has options for collecting people's opinions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martina Mutheu M. | Senior Lecturer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

The fact that you easily move from zoom to slido and participants find it easy to join and share ideas

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

That it limits the free package to three only

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Interactive teaching and presentations for people in different parts . It's like a real class where each participant or student can answer questions

It helped create a conversation after a product announcement and got the team involved!

  ### 29. Engaging and Easy to Use, with Minor Customization Limits

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I’ve been using Slido for team meetings and virtual events, and it’s made a huge difference in how engaged everyone is. The live polls and Q&A features are super easy to set up, and there's way more honest feedback than before through alternative methods.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

One thing I don’t love about Slido is that customizing the look and feel is a bit limited—it would be great to have more control over branding and visual themes. At least I was not able to find a way to do that.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido is solving the problem of passive, one-way communication during meetings and events by making it easy to gather real-time input from participants. For us, that’s meant more engaged teams, better feedback, and smoother discussions, especially in virtual settings where it's easy for people to tune out.

  ### 30. Effortless to Use and Perfect for Real-Time Audience Engagement

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Its ease of use and effective audience engagement for real time discussions

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

There was nothing to dislike about Slido

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Audience engagement is key for my presentations. I prefer two way engagement during my presentations rather than a one-way communication. Slido helps engage the audience for well thought engagement to help the audience increase their involvement

  ### 31. Great way to make remote meetings significantly more engaging

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido is very easy to set up and use. If done right, it can greatly increase the level of engagement and energy, especially in remote meetings, where you sometimes know that half of the people are doing something else on the side. The user experience for the participants is also very good.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Sharing the link/QR code at the beginning of the meeting / the Q&A session often introduces an a bit awkward pause. A direct integration with Google Meets would be incredible!

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You often start meetings remotely without a lot of energy. Using Slido helps set a collaborative and engaging mood. Also, oftentimes people don't dare to ask the most important (but perhaps uncomfortable) questions. Slido's anonimity helps engage everyone, even if they're less extroverted.

  ### 32. Engage your audience to lean forward into challenges

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

With Slido, it is very simple to set up interactions for a meeting. Sometimes, in a group, there are individuals who will not speak up, but will interact with the Slido tools. Other times, we are talking about a sensitive subject and even the vocal individuals will hesitate to speak up. This tool brings in more voices, which is needed for moving forward as an organization.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I am running Slido via a Chromebook and there are no speed issues. I am using a Chromebook because of the easy integration with Google Slides. I would prefer to run Slido from my Mac, but not seeing the easy integration there.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A couple examples:

(1) Time is a premium. Slido allows me to gather more information, more quickly from the leaders in the room. I can download this interaction data after the meeting to run analysis and determine what should be brought back next to this group of leaders.

(2) We have had division within our organization in the past and this tool has allowed me to surface comments and perceptions about our organization that our leaders have heard. This tool has allowed me to make these comments more visible so we can address them as a leadership team.

  ### 33. Great tool for interacting with audience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Seamless integration with PowerPoint and Google Slides even with basic plan.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

So far, I haven't encountered any drawbacks.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido's basic plan allows 3 polls per slido with a maximum of 100 participants and an unlimited number of slidos. Privacy management is however not possible with basic plan.

  ### 34. Nice

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** DELVIN D. | ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Easy to create and present, interactive and simple

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Participant can see others message, that can be eliminated

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Feedback collection and doubt clearing, especially for large crowds, is a tedious yet straightforward process that can be simplified through Slido. As it gives you QR code, easy to present and to participate

  ### 35. Placement of "Name"

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MELANIE M. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Slido?**

User interface is minimalist which makes it easy to use for both teachers and students. PowerPoint integration made my classes more interactive and encouraged introvert students to engage in class discussions. My students started to ask questions, a feat I couldn't achieve before I used Slido.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

The "name" is placed at the bottom of the space alloted for the user to answer the question, which makes the user answer the question before encoding their name. Otherwise, the user is labeled "anonymous." I don't wish to make Slido complicated for my students so I don't require them to create an account and log-in but I'd wish they'd encode their name first before answering the Slido.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Student engagement in my classes: I can monitor now that they were actually listening because they give immediate feedback

  ### 36. Engaging Q&A Made Easy, But Needs External Invite Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paulina B. | Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

The easy ability to have an engaging Q&A

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

That I can only have people from the same org create questions, I'd like it for external invites that we have as well

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

having an easy Q&A

  ### 37. Slido improved our audience engagement at parent teacher night!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

We used Slido to ask the audience to share their concerns about the college planning process. It was easy to set up and use for our presentation and people could respond right on their cell phones. By displaying their responses, the audience could see they were not alone in their concerns, especially about money for college! The audience had a positive response to using Slido and seeing their responses displayed anonymously, which encouraged participation.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I currently use the free version, but I had to manually switch to the next question for the audience. It did not do this automatically during my presentation. This was not smooth during the presentation. It would be great if there were a way this could be automated to move to the next question.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Audience participation and engagement. By getting parents involved during night events at our school, the parents feel heard and valued.

  ### 38. Quick and Easy way to get Input from a Group

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather K. | Senior Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I used this in the context of a large group brainstorming session. Once we had narrowed down ideas, we needed an easy, collaborative way to vote on the ideas. Within minutes I created a Slido, set up the QR code for folks to scan, and we got 21 people's input within a few hours. Some people had to leave early, so this was an easy way to get folks involved whether they were in the room or not.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

The only feedback I would give is to make the URL shorter. I had to convert using bit.ly.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaborative brainstorming in a hybrid situation (some in person folks and some virtual).

  ### 39. Great tool for a Hybrid Conference

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido helped us engage with our hybrid audience during a Young Professionals conference. We had participants in the room and online watching a broadcast. It's great that Slido is dynamic and you can see it update as the responses come in. Participants easily engaged in variety of Slido questions: word cloud, open text, multiple choice and Q&A. It was so easy to install and we used the PowerPoint plug-in to seamlessly integrate into our main slide deck. We loved that we could create multiple rooms and we used it throughout the day: in the morning for the main sessions and in the afternoon for individual breakout sessions. The Q&A moderation was very helpful and I was able to see questions before publishing them. I used both the desktop and phone web version and both were very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Nothing, it worked really well for us and completely met our needs.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Engaging with a hybrid audience and during training facilitation. It helps us keep participants engaged while listening to a conference and creating connections in a large audience setting. It's also a great tool for gathering in the moment data for facilitators to know who is in their audience and tailor their content/examples to them.

  ### 40. The experience is very good, but the fact that the application does not work in the apple products.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fernando R. | Professor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I like that the response time when using it with a large group of people is very good.
using it with power point facilitates the dynamism in a presentation to easily and quickly interact with the audience.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I don't like that it is difficult to use from an ipad, imac and iphone.
I would like to be able to interact with the tool in real time, for example: in a word cloud I could press a button and choose the 5 most important words.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It responds to a need that I have as a teacher or lecturer and that is that the class or lectures do not become boring and allow me to interact with the audience.

  ### 41. Reliable and Responsive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I have used Slido since July 2020. It has kept getting better and better.

Works perfectly.
Polls can be replicated for new audiences and frequent use.
Intuitive — easy to use and implement.
Feature rich.
Excellent for Education and any interactional context.

The Customer support team is made up of humans. They actually understand the User's needs and respond promptly.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

There is nothing to dislike about Slido.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used Slido in educational contexts, as a teacher and facilitator, to poll students / participants.

  ### 42. Amazing addition to engage staff in training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Glenn B. | Headteacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido is incredibly quick and easy to embed into presentation software (I used MS PowerPoint). Easy to set up the engagement questions. The training participants found it quick and easy to access the initial engagement question (QR code or numerical code) and there was no need to log in every time - the new question just appeared! Engagement in the training was much higher than normal, there was a real buzz amongst the participants and answers were more honest than if they had been asked to speak or show hands. The option of seeing the live data (as it comes in) or the presenter withholding it until all participants had answered (so people could put their own thoughts and not follow the crowd was great) . A couple of questions I did not display the answers at all - so participants could be really honest. Following the training, the data was easily accessible and clear - and can even be directly exported to use in reports / further presentations. Two weeks after the training, staff are still talking about how engaging it was!

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Not really a downside of Slido but I think that there is a need to consider (a) how often you use it with the same training group and (b) how to write good questions to get the most meaningful data!

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido solved the following 2 problems:
- Low engagement with participants offering feedback during training
- the presenter delivering training and not instantly knowing how it is being recieved / understood - which stops them being able to adapt training in the here and now

  ### 43. How slido helped me in a global technical knowledge sharing session in my company?

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SAIFULLAH S. | Senior Associate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

The direct view on the polls helps you know how many people are answering and particpating in the questions. It helps me urge them to particpate and make my sessions an interactive one.
Slido allows revealing the correct answer for everyone to see.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

The free version hd a limit of 2 questions. It would have been better to make it to 4.
I could not find the timer feature for the questions. It would have been great if the questions had a timer feature.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me throw questions at the audience regarding the technical topic I am giving session on. It helps me know how many people are answerign the questions. How many have correctly answered and how many have not.

  ### 44. Slido is the ultimate tool to boost audience engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gupta S. | Software Engineer, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Slido?**

One thing we cannot avoid to say that long meetings become boring and worst , there comes the amazing slido , its live polling and Q&A features are the game changers. Once i hosted a large webinar with over 500 attendees , throughout the webinar i ran multiple polls to gather audience opinions , slido kept the whole meeting event enagaging , interactive and enjjoyable. It also helped me to gave me valuable feedback in real-time . Slido is perfect for large scale webinars or virtual conferences. Also the user fiendly interface provides easy access to the platform.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

The free version of slido is limited in features so it could be a barrier for small business or organizations other than all the features that it provides are amazing

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido is an ulimate business tool that beneifts me in many ways -
1. It provides better audience insight during or after events by those effecient features.
2. By adding slido elements , it makes the event more dynamic , enagaging and fun.
3. It helps presenters efficiently manage large volumes of audience and their doubts and questions making the meeting more responsive.

  ### 45. Perfect for organizing events, even in the free version

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

improve the management of meetings

  ### 46. A pleasant surprise

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rane . | IT, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I recently stumbled on Slido while trying to make a poll for my project and it seemed like the perfect fit, and I was right. Everything inside Slido is very easy to use and intuitive, and everyone will find something there that suits their needs. You can also integrate it with many things like Powerpoint, which really helped me. The fact that you can use basically everything for free is mindblowing.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

There aren't many downsides to using Slido, basically everything is there. There was a minor inconvenience that you can't disable the option to change your vote while using the "Rating" function, but maybe I just didn't see it.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can easily make polls and gather important information that would benefit me.

  ### 47. Great for engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley G. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido has been a helpful tool to promote engagement in virtual and in person seminars and presentations. The polls are easy for people to access and easy to set up on the user end. The ability to add a link and QR code makes it easy to integrate into your presentation slides, and sharing the results are easy. You can customize polls so that respondents are anonymous or visible too.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I use the free version and so the amount of questions you can ask on one poll is limited, but there is an easy work-around.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy client engagement in a way that's more fun than asking questions for a room to possibly feel pressured to respond to.

  ### 48. Easy ccess and multiple applicstions even with a free account

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

At first sight I didn‘t understand how easy it is to use Slido with PowerPoint

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps to find the audience‘s ideas without long oral contributions by those who like to hear themselves speaking

  ### 49. Increased engagement for company wide meetings

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashlynn P. | Head of Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido was very easy to get started as a creator. Our first experience was running a quiz during a company all-hands meeting and we had 100% participation. The user experience was seamless from the attendee perspective. The how-to videos were also very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I haven't found anything to dislike so far!

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was important to us to faciliate more engagement and value during our all-hands presentations. We didn't want to spend an hour of employees times presenting slide information. We had previously asked for participation but without a tool to facilitate and encourage, we were not getting any engagement. With Slido, we have found multiple use cases including live Q&A and Quizes to facilitate fun interaction with employees. In our first meeting we had 100% participation.

  ### 50. Clean, modern, easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christine R. | Instructional Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido integrates well with powerpoint and slides are automatically generated. Automatically generated slides are modern-looking and aesthetically pleasing. Very easy to add new questions, reset the questions, edit the questions, and run the interactivity during a presentation

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

If you want to customize slide design for example make the theme color match your company, you will need to upgrade.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido helps keep my audience engaged and improves the quality of my presentations. Can also be used to gather data or survey participants in events.
