Slack is extremely user freindly and it allows you to communicate with various people directly or to various groups that you have set up for diffrent Departments.
We use Slack grequently all day as its much quicker than waiting for a email responce.
Slack is really easy to set up and the Slack Customer Support makes it easy to integrate.

The Slack channel enables us to communicate internally. In a work environment, we work indivually and also as teams. So, there are times when you need assistance from our colleague. We then use the the Slack platform to communicate work related issues rather then going to the person directly. It also enbles us to share our thoughts and ideas internally. Slack Connector for Jira works perfectly great whenever you need it and it provides the right solution. It's very easy to use and you get use to it very quick since it has been designed to provide you easy access and interface. The implementation is really greay and you can use it everyday without any issue. The amount of features that it involves are basic but are the right ones and the easy integration is the best part. I haven't use the Customer Support yet, but I'm pretty sure that will work fine as the other products related to Jira. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Is not something that I dislike, but it's something that it could be included. It would be great to have a manual included during the integration, that way you can become a bit like an expert. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A very convenient platform with project planning and scheduling. It's a great platform we implemented two years ago and we have seen great change in our team collaboration and Communication. Slack is a feature rich platform that has helped us reach our demands. It is very easy to navigate, very intuitive. It's integrating, I really like this platform.

I use Jira daily but mostly for creating tickets and keeping track of work. Because my Jira work doesn't make up the bulk of my workday, I do not check it very often unless neede - therefore notifications may get missed.
