What do you like best about SketchUp?

From not knowing anything about creating 3D renderings of spaces it gets you up and going in no time. I love the videos in the academy that really get you creating projects quickly.

Also the ability to import designs and textures created in diferent programs is a huge plus! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SketchUp?

I use it on a mac and had to switch to a different type of mouse since the apple ones do not have a scroll wheel which is masically required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SketchUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before we could only provide 2D renderings of spaces for our clients which can be abit challenging to convey. Now with being able to produce 3D versions easily and effectively it is a serious game changer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SketchUp?

Wildly rich, diverse tool kit. Good for overall design concept and progressively more detailed info. Have not yet made a jump to integrate SketchUp into con doc workflow but know it is available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SketchUp?

I have been utilizing it to create hangar designs and then placing them into Infraworks for others on my team to utilize. It is easy to export to other formats in order to incorporate into presentations. I have enjoyed seeing the program grow over the years Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SketchUp?

I love how easy it is to use and design with. I always tell people that are new to sketchup that its like having a block of clay and you can build anything you want without any limitations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SketchUp?

I wish it would work better with Autodesk Revit. Meaning, linking objects in would be awesome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SketchUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use it for a quick design tool when I need to show a client something. It's way fast than revit which I use daily.

For renderings I use sketchup everytime. I'll export my revit project into sketchup and then render from there.
