5/5
What do you like best about Sketch?

It is advantageous to visualize the design process of the applications and to be able to share them with coworkers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sketch?

It is a bit limiting that it only has an application for Mac, the use from the browser is very intuitive, but sometimes it generates some problems with the plug Ins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient design tool helpful for creating design mocks"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Sketch?

Sketch is a great design tool and helps me create multiple design options to solve a complex business problem creatively. The prototyping feature allows for an interactive mock design that helps stakeholders visualize the app/product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sketch?

If I could, the only thing I would like to change about Sketch would be its cost. The license for a yearly renewal can be pretty expensive to maintain, and with other competitors in the market, it makes more sense to reconsider. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-friendly design tool that offers a range of features"
4/5
What do you like best about Sketch?

The Sketch app is a user-friendly design tool that offers a range of features and a clean interface that makes it easy to use. It has a minimalistic approach to its UI, making it simple to navigate and find the tools you need. The app's vector-based design system allows for smooth and precise design work, with an intuitive process for creating, duplicating, and manipulating shapes and graphics. Additionally, Sketch offers a robust set of plugins and integrations with other design tools, making it a versatile option for designers. Overall, its ease of use, flexibility, and clean design make the Sketch app an excellent choice for both beginner and professional designers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sketch?

While the app is relatively easy to use, its advanced features and design tools may be intricate for beginners to grasp. Sketch files can only be opened and edited in Sketch, which can be limiting for teams that work with multiple design tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Changed the way I work"
5/5
What do you like best about Sketch?

I use this to create high fidelity mockups. Sketch is a lighter version of Adobe Illustrator, and that's just fine by me! It's all the basics any digital designer would want or need, none of the unnecessary features of Adobe. Easy to export artboards, unlimited working space. No need to create layers or add objects to them, they're made automatically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sketch?

Creating vector paths is something I'm still getting used to. Its just different from Illustrator, which isn't good or bad. Just takes some time to get used to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Goog for MacOS, but not even close to Figma"

What do you like best about Sketch?

Lots of standard tools, interaction with developers, easy sharing, but not convenient regarding heavy projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sketch?

MacOS only, at least when we used it. Cross-platform compatibility would be a plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A powerful designing software that has a few pros & cons over its biggest competitor"
4/5
What do you like best about Sketch?

- The performance of Sketch as software on macOS is magnificent. I have my files go up to 10GBs and never faced a hiccup in performance during work.

- There is a very short learning curve – a mini-course can help you become a pro at Sketch.

– The UI is really clean and user-friendly.

- The ability to work offline let me turn my time on aeroplanes & airport into something more productive.

– There are a large number of plugins available to help you do a few more things than Figma

– Use of symbols is great for reusing elements multiple times and then changing them all in one click. For eg. color of buttons in a web design Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sketch?

– Sometimes, my clients (who are a bit techy) ask if they can play a bit with the design/colours. If they have windows, it is just not possible.

– Collaborating on design with people using windows can be tricky

– Lacks features to auto-centre an element in its group or artboard Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great design app for Mac users"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Sketch?

It is a great tool for MacOS users and who love to design. There is a robust ecosystem of plugins allowing you to customize your workflow and making it more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sketch?

Windows users cannot use Sketch as it is MacOS exclusive. This is not great as it prevents the Windows community from using this design tool. While there are a lot of plugins but some are not updated in a timely manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good product overall but fails in scaling through Design System"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Sketch?

Sketch is known for its vector editing and strong performance when working with large files. Plugins and shared libraries are other good features that help work on the design files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sketch?

Sketch has very limited support for creating design systems, it is not as robust as some other tools. This can make it difficult for designers to maintain consistency across their designs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Vector graphics editor."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sketch?

Sketch is great software, and the best thing about this is that it comes with a wide variety of plug-ins and extensions, making the work even easier. It allows us to create symbols which is another excellent feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sketch?

I haven't found anything to dislike about this software as it fulfills my design needs. It is mac only software, but if they can launch it for windows, too, it would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
