"Best app for UI Design"
5/5
What do you like best about Sketch?

Working on sketch is awesome. My transition from Adobe XD to Sketch was a good learning process as it was a new tool and with the same kind of work that I did on XD I can do it on sketch with much ease and also we can collaborate it with Zeppelin for development and stuff and that was also one good thing that I don't have to give everything in SVG format to the developer as the developer had sketch installed and we did the work together. I was having a problem in color picking where I have to go to a site for choosing the shade of the specific color I needed. But in sketch the process was so simple, I reduced the transparency and the color code was changed accordingly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sketch?

Could have a web version as the Figma has.

I've been a user of Adobe XD and after changing to Sketch I felt the difference in tools like zooming in and out. It is quite the opposite and it took some time to handle it.

It has a file workspace and all but it could've been better if it had a web version to work on Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sketch is so simple & intuitive"
5/5
What do you like best about Sketch?

First and foremost, I love how intuitive Sketch is. You can hop right in and begin (as opposed to the years it takes to become proficient in AI). It's especially amazing for when you're creating multiple artboards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sketch?

There are a few glitches here and there, but they're constantly updating & working out their bugs. I wouldn't use it for spreads / layouts, as the PDF export is brutal (exports HUGE and auto-selects all your artboards). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Awesome tool"
4/5
What do you like best about Sketch?

I hvae used sketch to make a few icons and things just for fun and practicing and I have like the tools that Sketch provides to make that process easier. Sketch has helped me to explore my abilities as a ux/ui designer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sketch?

It is really confusing to start using in the beginning; I did it alone and self-taught and it was a slow going process to find the tools I needed and understand exactly how sketch worked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I love it ! Very sweet and easy software for designers. It's my bread earner."
3.5/5
What do you like best about Sketch?

I am a designer and I am writing this review after using Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, and Figma. Above all I like Sketch. It is very easy to understand, you just keep using it, most of the things here are self explanatory.

For basic design creation, wireframing and prototyping sketch is best, but if you want to go for extreme graphics then probably you need photoshop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sketch?

It is only available for MAC...If sketch developers reading my review, Please provide its online version, much needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great wireframing tool, that is easy to learn, use, and display"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sketch?

I like the ease of use of Sketch. I was able to pick it up instantly with no prior experience. All of the tools and controls are incredibly intuitive and make a life for a beginner much more enjoyable. Within a couple of weeks of moderate usage, I felt like I could achieve most of, if not all, my needs to design a website/app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sketch?

My least favorite aspect of Sketch is the size and speed of the application and sketch files themselves. This might be an issue with my laptop, but it seemed like Sketch was very demanding on my computer. Files would struggle to load in at times, and Sketch would sometimes not open when told to do so or not fully close, and I would have to force quit the application. "Sketch - A Great Vector Graphic Editor"
4/5
What do you like best about Sketch?

It is a great graphic designing tool, using which we can design graphics and wireframes very well. The user interface here is very easy and straightforward just like other prototyping applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sketch?

The major con is that Sketch is only available for Mac, so like me, if you have a cross-platform team you'll need alternatives, and also the Sketch community is quite small and most of the time, I'll need to google my problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sketch is a robust design tool with lots of features and easy to link designs in Invision."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sketch?

It took me a few hours to learn sketch, it is that easy to use. It has everything you need to do wireframing and high-fidelity interactive prototypes. What I like about Sketch is the integration with Invision. It becomes easy to upload mockups in invision directly from Sketch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sketch?

Recently there were several updates being pushed in Sketch which are not that great. If we have multiple pages in one file the performance drops. If you are using components then creating and maintaining it is a little difficult to learn and manage. I think there is a lot of scope for improvement. Also, I think Sketch needs to add the capability to introduce animation and more in-depth interactivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Tool for Viewing Designs + Constantly Improving!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sketch?

I am writing this review from the perspective of a Product Manager who uses Sketch to view designs for myself and my team. In that capacity it has been a great tool! The UI is very intuitive and easy to navigate around. I find myself making small updates to designs frequently, and Sketch makes this easy even for a novice such as myself. Their Sketch cloud tool is constantly improving. Every time I login I find a new feature that wasn't there before. The cloud functionality makes it a breeze to share designs to some team members who do not have a Sketch license. We have been using Sketch for 3 years at my company and I don't forsee that chaning any time soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sketch?

It can be a bit expensive getting each team member a Sketch license. This used to be a big problem at my company, but since Sketch improved upon their Sketch cloud tool we found the need for developers to have Sketch licenses to have dropped dramatically. So if your team can use the free cloud tool to view designs, it could save you a lot of money on licenses for non designers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It is good for some cases, but I much prefer Figma"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Sketch?

I like the sidebar layout, where I have dynamic info visible to the right. I also like that I can copy the CSS styles of text or shapes to apply via code easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sketch?

I don't like that I can't easily see a list of fonts and sizes used in the document. I also don't like that I need to re-download the sketch file every time a designer makes an update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
