Sinch is a very helpful and easy to use business messaging tool. It is very effective for campaign scheduling and chatbots to keep in touch with the customers. Its customer support staff is very helpful and resolve queries quickly. It can be easily integrated for multi channel purposes and business messaging.

It may take a while to understand the user interface and navigation but gets easier over time with use

Sinch solves the problem of campaign scheduling and business messaging very efficiently without any hassles or problems. The dashboards also keep us informed about ongoing and scheduled campaigns.

Sinch is bad with payments. They debit your account and then do not add credits, don't show the payment in the billing history. I have never had such an ignorant support team anywhere else. Writing a detailed email about issues, sending bank statements, and then they respond to whatever they want, completely ignoring your question. The worst customer support you can think of. not recording payment should be chased by some fraud banking uthorities

they have a good platform  and is user friendly. thats it, the business aspect behind the product is not existent

We have decided to cooperate with sinch on behalf of my organization and we regret it ever since. They never reply to emails and they do not adhere to SLAs at all. We are on the verge of terminating the agreement while approaching our deadlines. I do not recommend it.

**What do you like best about Sinch?**

Sinch offers coverage in a wide range of geographies -- we historically used them in several countries where our other providers did not have strong delivery performance.

**What do you dislike about Sinch?**

It is not possible to get pricing data through Sinch's API, unlike many of their competitors.  After committing to offer us a fixed price in a key market, they raised their prices by 6x and did not notify us in any way, even though they sent us other email price notifications during this same period.  When we finally identified the price change, which led to significant losses for our business, they apologized but only offered us a refund of ~2% of the losses we incurred.  Even though the error was clearly on their end, we were the ones who suffered losses.  We have decided to pull all of our business from Sinch going forward because we can no longer consider them a reliable and trustworthy partner.

**What problems is Sinch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were attempting to address gaps in our other providers' coverage, but we have realized it was better to work with those partners to address delivery issues rather than rely on Sinch.  Our other partners make it much easier to pull real-time data via API, and we also have a much better business relationship with them.  On balance, the negatives outweigh the positives in our relationship with Sinch.

Everyone at Sinch that I've worked with has been extremely responsive, whether it is questions about adding additional features, or supporting our end users, to even handling billing issues; this level of responsiveness really establishes a strong business parnership

The biggest downside in our experience has been cost, where we have seen some other vendors be a little more competitive in the market

**Recommendations to others considering Sinch:**

Sinch is a very good company to work with from an SMS Aggregator role; I've been working with them for many years now going back to the mBlox company, and the business relationship is as strong as it ever was.  They are very proactive in ensuring they can meet our needs and supportive whenever we need them to be.

**What problems is Sinch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don't have many problems, just occasional issues with individual users receiving SMS responses from short codes, and the support received from Sinch really helps get through those isolated instances in an efficient manner.

**What do you like best about Sinch?**

The support team is very responsive around the existing services we use.  Additionally, they take the time to listen and understand the business challenge/s we are solving for.  For example, we recently explored text enabling our 800 to offer a new channel of communication by our members.  To accomplish our use case, we were introduced to the Sinch Flows platform that offered the immediate capabilities we needed and additional features we could use in the future.

Nothing comes to mind at this time.  They have been a great partner.

**What problems is Sinch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are exploring the use of a Group Chat feature that would live purely in the SMS space and not require the need to install specific apps such as WhatsApp.  This allows our internal teams to use tools (SMS) that they are already familiar with which reduces learning curves and quick adoption.  We are also offering additional Digital channels for our members to communicate on.  We've been able to do this by text enabling our 800 number and delivering automated responses with a link to an online resource.

The Team was great as we were getting our account set up.  Provide timely updates as carriers were reviewing our application.  Additionally, provided strategies on who we would be able to allocate cost to various business units that would be using the same shortcode.

Their online platform to find the status of our submissions to the carriers was difficult to find.  Once I knew where it was, it was easy to find.  It was just not as intuitive as I would have expected.

**Recommendations to others considering Sinch:**

Highly recommend.  The team is great to work with.  We even had an account rep switch (he got promoted)  and the Director, of Enterprise Accounts proactively reached out to let me know what was going on and set up a time for an intoroduction.  In the past, it was typically just the old rep or the new rep reaching out,

**What problems is Sinch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to begin SMS communications with our field team, channel partners, and (ultimately) our end-user customers.  We use Adobe Campaign as our email communication provider and the platform also has SMS capabilities.  Sinch came as a highly recommended partner.

How Sinch representatives understand your requirements and issues and provide you solutions that work. Also I must mention that they're very patient and understanding of your circumstances as a business, this was very evident during the tough times we faced due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On the other hand, they have the best tech platforms/teams. Our development teams have never faced an issue technically, Sinch's API's are well documented and are very easy to integrate and use.

I dislike the fact that they don't have an office in Pakistan, our local tech scene can definitely be helped with an amazing company like Sinch operating locally.

Some of the business problems we are solving with Sinch are:
1. Automated bank statement delivery over WhatsApp API
2. Automated/Agent customer support for large and medium enterprises over WhatsApp API
3. Banking platform build on Sinch's WhatsApp API

We have implemented successful business solutions into many enterprises and our products powered by Sinch are providing ease of access, automation and cost reduction to our customers.

**What do you like best about Sinch?**

The video quality is very good when you do get their software to connect. I have a development team in India and even video chatting here in the states with them 1 on 1 worked great during our first trial tests of the video chatting integration for Android.

**What do you dislike about Sinch?**

We gave this company every opportunity to make us happy clients but due to the lack of support we were not able to get android local view to expand to full screen on most modern phones anything running Android 10 and higher does not work properly. We sent over screenshots and videos. After getting the run around from their auto responders for a month we finally got a hold of someone, and they said that they "do not do custom coding". We only asked if they could look at our code which is straight from their own SDK and let us know why it is not working per their own API documentation. We were really surprised by their lack of effort to find a solution or a middle ground we even offered to pay, and they refused but the strangest thing is they offer and promote custom development on their website. We took a big hit in the wallet this month due to the labor cost associated with adding and removing a feature that does not work. So while it may only cost .14 cents per hour for 2 people to video chat at 1080 quality the real hidden cost for a business like mine comes from the integration of the SDK. To have to remove an integration because our UI does is not up to par is a real bummer.

**Recommendations to others considering Sinch:**

Sinch looks nice on the outside the admin panel is easy to use but there is no way to create additional users, soon I had to share my company email id and password for this integration to ensure my developers had senior level access. If that's something your ok with then great but if you need access delegation use a different platform.

**What problems is Sinch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our core functionality is video chatting. We offer a marketplace where our members can video chat with each other and exchange services and requests. Our marketplace is big, so we need to support our Admin Panel, iOS app and Android app. We did not want to have to build our own custom web RTC software because that would have taken us a month.

The benefits we realized are for certain aspects of our business we can't always invest or support the underdog company. While we don't like supporting "too big to fail" corporate companies (Amazon, Zapier) monopolizing the industry we also as a company have to find balance in the software tools we are using for our business and because video chatting is so cored to building community even if we have to pay more for the usage/bandwidth cost per minute of video chatting. In our case it is better to go with a reputable company that has been in the game a while.

**What do you like best about Sinch?**

We have been delivering SMS messages of all sorts through Sinch since it was mBlox and CLX. We have been looked after by the company and the people for more than a decade. The breadth and depth of their service offering, particularly around mobile services, means that whatever problem I need solved, Sinch has always had a solution.

**What do you dislike about Sinch?**

The company is getting pretty large and their services are spreading beyond mobile. It is starting to feel a little bit less personal.

**What problems is Sinch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly message delivery anywhere in the globe. Whenever a customer needs access to a new region that we don't currently cover, Sinch flicks a switch and turns it on. No mess, no fuss.

Sinch does a great job at providing dedicated resources to really get to know your business and understand the use cases you're exploring. They seem to have a strong value in knowing their customers and having one-on-one phone calls that really flush out what you're trying to accomplish as a business.

**What do you dislike about Sinch?**

The different services Sinch offers can often feel disjointed or completely siloed. Getting access to additional services can be a bit of a hassle with lots of meetings and paperwork to sign. Additionally, we've had our previous account reps really drop off the map with support after getting us to sign on for additional services, requiring several email follow ups to get access to their technical resources for help getting started. 

Additionally, they have tiered sending rate limits for messaging, which other competitor tools don't seem to have.

**What problems is Sinch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sinch has allowed our business to stay competitive in our pricing by offer great discounts at scale. They also have been able to help us scale up our own business by offering us the ability to send more and more messages as we grow without blowing up our bottom line. We're looking forward to seeing Sinch really be able to capitalize on some of their more recent growth and support a more integrated product set so that it's easier for us to leverage more of their tools without so much back and forth.

Sinch have a very responsive support team, combined with a conversational API for facebook/whatsapp/web chat. The SMS solution was easy to implement and integrate.

I'm looking forward to the raft of new features they have launching in 2021 which will provide my clients with additional features, plus a better user experience for customers

For large organisations that want full control of their mobile messaging.

Being able to manage large scale SMS campaigns (500k batch sends) with integrations into varied messaging channels based on user preferences. Personalised rich SMS is a big win also.

The cost has been the only downside in our journey of onboarding Sinch since 2010.

Their billing department got a little testy when a simple phone call would have cleared things up.

While we were able to partner with Sinch on a new product, they're going to be best used as core sending infrastructure and APIs. You want to have tech resources, in other words.

Using the WhatsApp service, during the first month of launch, it is still in promotion, and very considerately waived the first month's fee.

Currently, everything I've encountered is good. There are many Sinch-related tasks, and some I haven't been involved with yet. I'll provide suggestions once there is more collaboration.

Using the official WhatsApp number and Flashcall service, hoping to reduce the cost of using SMS and alleviate the pressure on the call center to lower costs.

Our account manager is great, not only is she very knowledgeable with compliance but also with the various products.  When we need help with anything she's quick to help and push things along anytime we need extra help.

**What do you dislike about Sinch?**

Before passing things along for us to action we'd like to see more specific details provided; also having Sinch do some digging and investigating on their end before passing things along may help reduce some requests.

The most useful thing about Sinch is its vast number of features. With Sinch, you can integrate audio calls, video calls, chat functionality without much of the complex coding.

**What do you dislike about Sinch?**

Sometimes its challenging to handle notifications for Sinch with background process restrictions on device. Android OS like Oreo needs to handled properly to get notifications, calls in background.

Sinch is useful if you are looking for an SDK with quick integration support of Voice calls, Video calls and real time chat/messaging app.

With Since, we are able to create a social platform where users can share using either text, audio, video and multimedia. Sinch helps us make the development process faster so that we no need to re-invent the wheel.

I like how easy it was for me to implement with my Parse backend interface as I can just slip in the code that implements the API

**What do you dislike about Sinch?**

How there isn't an interface that you can use for this API. It can be challenging for those who aren't proficient at programming using this API.

I would also use the GCM as it provides native support, AWS is popular, Firebase

I solved my issue with instant messaging communication as well as being able to send media over the network
