How useful and the multiple tools it gives it presents to you to simulate circuits and plc, so it saves a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It requires a minimum process capacity (especially ram) from the computer, so, sometimes, based on the use, it can be a little bit slow, or it will close if your computer is not good enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Simulink is highly versatile and caters to businesses working on diverse projects, such as ours; it also offers specific toolboxes for specialized applications. It is widely known for its seamless integration with MATLAB; it has also allowed our business to leverage MATLAB's extensive mathematical and analytical capabilities within Simulink models, enabling advanced simulations and analysis. While Simulink provides real-time simulation capabilities, businesses like ours with specific real-time requirements or high-performance computing needs may find the built-in capabilities limited. There are compatibility and integration challenges; Integrating simulink with other software tools or existing IT infrastructure may require additional effort. Hence, compatibility issues or the need for custom interfaces can arise, especially when integrating simulink with external software, hardware or proprietary systems. The graphical interface in it. Which make it easier to point out where the problem might have occurred.
And also it's integration with the Matlab.
Because of its interface it's easy to learn and use the libraries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The c++ code simulink generates are not very efficient. I always have to refine the code later on.
Also, I would like if would be multithreaded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the best thing I like about Simulink is the ease of code. the code used to design the programme is almost similar to Matlab and can easily be captured and learned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the thing I dislike simulink is UI. The user interface for error identification is not good. we find it difficult to find the error in the code. This should be like Matlab. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Simulink has a suite of powerful analysis tools, especially for controls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Simulink is very hard to use, everything is a black box (no open-source), and it's way too expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Get fast and reliable results without knowing math equations. cope interface is familiar to engineers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Scope zoom may be more flexible: gradually changing value and time scale.
The list of existing asynchronous motors was beneficial but does not exist in the new version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Simulink is the best block diagram environment for modelling, simulation and analysis of various systems. The things that I like about Simulink are as follows:
1) It is very easy to learn and a user-friendly tool. It is easy to set up the required parameters and variables for the simulation.
2) It is integrated with MATLAB, which is also an excellent tool for data analysis. Simulink helps us to visualize the systems that we analyse. MATLAB and Simulink can be used with each other.
3) A huge amount of support material and tutorials are available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find that Simulink is the best available block diagram environment for the analysis of multidomain systems. However, I find some drawbacks which are as follows:
1) My system slows down a lot while using Simulink and MATLAB.
2) There have been some instances where the Simulink crashed down and I had to lose the data.
3) I feel that using Simulink alone is easy, but integrating it with MATLAB seemed difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
