Simple's free checking accounts, a debit card, and the app are really great banking tools. It's easy to set up an account, easy to get in contact with someone for help. I opened this account because I liked the idea of having different goals/categories to put funds into and the simplicity of an online bank. I have yet to really dive into it as I haven't had a chance to really use it being out of the US, but I like how even though my account has nothing in it, it stays open and I have the option to use it whenever I like. Nothing really stands out yet given I haven't had much hands-on experience with it yet. I do find it limiting that there's isn't an actually building you can go to do you banking and that the atms it works with aren't always near by, but I believe they are expanding and their mobile app helps bridge this gap.
