Roles. The fact you can navigate smootly across multiple devices (Tablet,Phone) is one of the best thing i've experience yet in Simcenter.
It has also very logical interface when you're adapted with Siemens Product aswell Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very minor critics it's a general software for 3D it have a lot of features without getting deep in the tools.it actually does exactly what we ask of it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Simcenter 3D is easy to pick up, especially if you’re already familiar with Siemens NX. It integrates smoothly with existing tools and workflows, which means you can start using it without much hassle. The platform is packed with features that work well whether you're just getting started or you're a pro, with simple guided workflows and more advanced options when you need them. Setting it up is pretty straightforward, especially if your company is already using other Siemens software. The customer support is solid, with quick responses and plenty of helpful resources online. You’ll find yourself using it often because it handles a wide range of simulations and makes even complex tasks more manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a few drawbacks. The learning curve can be steep for beginners, especially if you're not already familiar with Siemens products like NX. The software is also resource-intensive, so you need a strong hardware setup to run complex simulations smoothly, which can be a limitation for some users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have use Simcenter 3D for a while and I find it really powerful and better for engineering simulations. It's got many tools that cover different aspects like structural analysis thermal studies, and more. One of the thing I like the most is how integrated everything is which makes my workflow smoother. Things I don’t like about Simcenter 3D is bit difficult to learning. There is so much to it that it can feel overloaded when you are starting out. It takes a time to get comfortable with all the available features also it is heavy due to the resouces so I have noticed it slows down my computer sometimes especially while working on larger projects. It integrates smoothly into existing workflows, with strong support available for troubleshooting and guidance. Its frequent use is driven by its extensive array of features, from advanced modeling to optimization tools. The software also connects seamlessly with various CAD systems, enhancing its flexibility and efficiency in the engineering process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One challenge with Simcenter 3D is its complexity, which can lead to a steep learning curve for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I used simcenter to design a solar tracker system. It gave the detailed analysis on Strength & weakness including structural & durability of my system, that i liked the most. Customer support availablity is good & they will help to do initial setup. Once you get comfortable with software its easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Beginners like me will face difficulty during initial installation. Siemens should focus on providing simcenter more compatiblty while integerating with non-siemens softwares. Intially one can face issue because simcenter provides alot many features & its take time to figure out needed one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Simcenter 3D has very robust multi-physics simulation capabilities that help tame complex engineering tasks. It is also well integrated with Siemens PLM, improving efficiency and cross-team collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI is archaic, somehow, and a little troubling for new users to get through. The learning curve is also steep, and it's pretty pricey in terms of licensing costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
