**What do you like best about Sila?**

Sila is incredible to work with. They are responsive, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile to make connections and brainstorm solutions to help their partners.
I really can't overstate how wonderful it is to work with them. Interactions feel human and genuine.
On a technical level, the APIs are easy to work with and documentation is good. If anything is missing or out of date, they reply quickly and amend the documentation right away.

**What do you dislike about Sila?**

The only thing I'd really love to see from Sila is yield support. For us, being able to pass an APY back to our users would be great.

**What problems is Sila solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sila functions as our primary BaaS and KYC partner - enablling us to open FDIC insured accounts for users and facilitate transactions to and from linked bank accounts.

**What do you like best about Sila?**

They were able to work with me to accommodate my situation and my app development. Unfortunately they changed their mind 1 week before launching on the app stores.

**What do you dislike about Sila?**

The long process to get my application approved. It's taken over 7 months to get my application reviewed for approval. After agreeing to their requests and modifying my app, they decided to withdraw my app and left me with an unluanchable app.
I've lost $1,000s in development and lost time. Their reason was that their stakeholders decided not to support specific banking apps. If I knew this beforehand, I wouldn't have spent development costs and 1 yr of approvals.
They also increased their monthly pricing by 100X, from $99/month to $5,000-$10,000/month.
They have other plans but they were still not even close to the original $99/month starter package.

**What problems is Sila solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My mobile app needs a payment processing application to handle my app features. They agreed to my banking application but changed the pricing to 100X more and declined the app type. 
The increased monthly costs were outrageous and unaffordable but I decided to continue because I've already spent a lot on developing the application to fit their requirements.

**What do you like best about Sila?**

The team overall has been very helpful in navigating complex use cases.

To scale a fintech today it is critical to have an FBO Account partner with KYC-as-a-service to avoid the time-consuming and expensive path to state by state money transmission licenses.

Beyond this, SILA is constantly innovating with its transmission backbone.  Very excited to see what is next on their roadmap.

The services that SILA provides are mission-critical and you need a strong partner to not only solve problems today, but a partner you can trust to have the foresight to build for the future.

**What do you dislike about Sila?**

There is a backlog for new clients, which has been challenging for some.

**What do you like best about Sila?**

**What do you dislike about Sila?**

Some features are slow to production. For example, allowing users to supply last 4 of social security number, instead of their entire social.

**Recommendations to others considering Sila:**

Great company that provides a great service.  After doing your research, I'm sure you won't come across a better platform.

**What problems is Sila solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Share App is designed to offer a more affordable alternative to popular crowdfunding sites, and to pass on lower transaction rates to small business and churches.

**What do you like best about Sila?**

The Sila platform, API documentation and ACH infrastructure are incredibly robust and cost-effective.  However, the thing that really sets Sila apart is their team.  I can't say enough about how collaborative and supportive they are, and how smoothly our implementation went under their direction.  We really look forward to scaling our business with them.

**What do you dislike about Sila?**

Haven't found one yet....Our pricing and service have been great.

**What problems is Sila solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Sila primary for our ACH needs, as well as setting up FBO accounts for our users.  As a result of our integration, we are getting more users on our platform, and have dramatically lowered our COGs.

**What do you like best about Sila?**

The compliance and product capabilities are very flexible for many different kinds of financial businesses. We've been able to get up and running very quickly with a complex set of financial requirements. The Sila team's knowledge and expertise has made it flawless. The API and platform is extremely flexible and will meet just about any money movement use-case you can think of.

**What do you dislike about Sila?**

As with any financial solution, there are some humans-in-the-loop back-office procedures, and that is true with Sila as well. That said, they continue to make great strides in automating all the things.

**What problems is Sila solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Sila to handle FBO clearing of securities funds for investment accounts and KYB for businesses. Their platform can satisfy any compliance need, whereas we found that many other solutions had limited capabilities, especially around the nitty-gritty of account namings, charters, and bank agency.

**What do you like best about Sila?**

Setting up and sandbox account was quick and simple. We didn't have to go through the time-consuming due diligence of finding a banking partner to integrate with. The community helped us answer the technical questions that were crucial for our use case and gave us the confidence to use Sila as our primary core banking technology.
The API docs and GitHub are straightforward and simple, which makes it smooth to develop a prototype and an MVP.

**What do you dislike about Sila?**

It wasn't until we paid that they disclose the potential limitations of us been operating out of a territory. Solving this issue delayed our development efforts. 
The virtual account feature has taken more time than expected to be released. It was delayed from May to the end of the year.
Information about the integration and management of the FBO was not documented. The API docs for the Card API are not available yet, even though it is available to use

**Recommendations to others considering Sila:**

I evaluated more than 20 banking and fintech providers to build Hyperion. Sila was the best option for developing a fintech product from the ground up without consuming lots of time in compliance and upfront platform costs.

**What problems is Sila solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are providing all-in-one business banking for SMB. Sila helped us build the core banking functionality in which we developed our product offerings on top of.

**What do you like best about Sila?**

I used SilaMoney for ACH payment integration. It was a good experience working with them and using APIs. Money movement can be tied to events within the platform, with just a few lines of code. I like the way that Sila can make and receive ACH transfers, link bank accounts, and verify customer identity. From my point of view, Sila is a Totally secure and trusted platform. Also, I appreciate the Sila support team. They resolved my every query quickly via email and via Slack. I would like to mention the name of Mr. Bruke from the Sila team. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. He helped me a lot in my development with Sila. Thanks to everyone. I recommand Sila for smooth money tansactions.

**What do you dislike about Sila?**

Sometimes Sila team were working on API's and the server was under maintenance that should be notified to users so that they will take care of it. Sila maintenance surprises will be disappointing for customers because some may live and some may in development mode. That's the only point I want to mention here. Otherwise, I am happy with the service they gave to me.

**What problems is Sila solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are many problems I solved with Sila. I was using PHP SDK for ACH payments. But sometimes faced issues fo using SDK was not updated or documentation was not updated. So it was very confusing to resolve issues. But wherever I asked queries to the Sila team regarding this they were really taking lead and helped me. Also, they said that they will be update requirements soon.

regarding business benefits, I think it was profitable because my Manager was happy with SilaMoney support and business deals.

I now that is not their fault but the ACH schedule to move the money is slow.

Innovative payment solution
Introduced concept of sila token that can be used to move money p2p virtually and helps with curtailing some of the compliance requirements around moving physical money .
Partnership with plaid and lithic has simplified over all digital wallet transformation to a virtual bank account . 
Easy to use API's and great customer success team!

None as such. Support sla can be better. 
Sometimes issues go on for prolonged period

The SDKs available and functionality of the API itself, allows us to build very robust and custom products! The documentation behind the functionality is great as well!

**What do you dislike about Sila?**

Some of the processes for compliance regarding your funds flow were a little bit convoluted, but Bruke and the rest of the Sila team are very responsive and helpful!

**What problems is Sila solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem of having a digital wallet with P2P capabilities and having finite control of all of those functionalities makes it very easy to use!

They're very strict on their security measures, which is a good thing, but in some cases, it makes it difficult for some of our customers.

People needed a way to incorporate fractional donations into their activities without having to move money manually. Sila gives us that ability!

Limitations with the full BaaS with the amount of services provided.

Very easy and if speed and complexity is the main point, Sila is very good to get started with.

Sila allows us to quickly spin off our Fintech program. 
The ease of starting up is a very beneficial part of the program, this helps with time and complexity.
Sila also provides the very basics of anything you would want to do with your initial program.
