The software can sometimes be slow and feel clunky to use. Additionally, it often misses updates from major media outlets like the BBC when journalists revise their stories. It can also clog up with syndicated versions of stories in far flung countries, rather than providing easy access to the original story (e.g. one posted on Reuters that then goes far and wide, finding that original Reuters story can be tricky.) Whenever I need to get in contact with someone at Signal AI, it's extremely responsive. I've had a lot of calls to help fine-tune our dashboards to ensure we're reflecting the appropriate KPI. And overall, the customer service is great. Additionally, I appreciate how we can add custom content to get a comprehensive view of all our coverage. This feature is especially valuable because we work with a lot of publications that are heavily paywalled. Signal has changed how I report - it provides clear, intuitive, easy-to-populate charts that deliver the insights that our clients find valuable. I really like that Signal AI provides the ability to run comprehensive searches on all of the media coverage out there (online or on LexisNexis) on a given topic, company or competitor. I also really enjoy the dashboards feature. It really helps visualize what the most popular topics of interests are and where a company may stack up against it's competitors in regards to how it is being referred to in the media. Sometimes it can be difficult to run searches. There is a helpdesk that is always available to help, but I wish it was a little more intuitive to get searches set up. I'm still trying to figure out how to search for one main keyword and two related keywords, but not necessarily both of the related keywords. It seems to be a "one of these" keywords or "all of these" keywords kind of approach. For the charts in the insights and dashboards, it would also be nice to be able to have the numbers of articles visible on the bars, rather than having to hover of it to see how many articles are represented.
