It allows us to monitor potential reputational issues and identify them early. One of the standout features for me is its capacity to determine article sentiment, distinguishing between positive, negative, and neutral coverage, which is exceptionally hard to achieve with most tools. I also like that I can create a large number of search dashboards that operate simultaneously, which helps us capture a wide range of media coverage. The pricing is more competitive compared to Cision, and I appreciate that there are no hidden fees. Setting up dashboards and searches is easier to manage, and the support we received during the setup process was very good. Signal AI provided more flexibility and control over how we set things up. **What do you dislike about Signal AI?** It would be helpful to have access to search coverage over a longer timespan. The licenses covering Signal AI searches only allow them to share the content of media coverage during the last 90 days. This makes it harder to retrospectively explore the history of a news story or an issue that has become increasingly important to the organization. Creating a database that allows users to explore older coverage in more detail would be very useful, though I recognize there are a number of barriers/challenges that would need to be overcome in order to do this. It would also be helpful to search for specific stories in a more granular way - I don't find it easy to identify articles written by particular journalists for specific outlets. The ability to do this would be valuable. A bit tricky, to be honest. We did go through the process three times (I think) before we were entirely satisfied with the dashboards we had set up. And without knowing too much about the platform, it's easy to go in and pull a report or have a colleague do so without having to undergo comprehensive training. I also really enjoy the dashboards feature. It really helps visualize what the most popular topics of interests are and where a company may stack up against it's competitors in regards to how it is being referred to in the media. I also appreciate the recent addition of being able to customize the colors on the dashboards. **What do you dislike about Signal AI?** Sometimes it can be difficult to run searches. There is a helpdesk that is always available to help, but I wish it was a little more intuitive to get searches set up. I'm still trying to figure out how to search for one main keyword and two related keywords, but not necessarily both of the related keywords. It seems to be a "one of these" keywords or "all of these" keywords kind of approach. For the charts in the insights and dashboards, it would also be nice to be able to have the numbers of articles visible on the bars, rather than having to hover of it to see how many articles are represented. **What problems is Signal AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** Signal AI is helping us understand the media landscape better. I use Signal every day or every other day and I've picked it up in a decent amount of time. It's hard going from traditional boolean queries to using Signal tags but I do like how it's not overcomplicated. **What do you dislike about Signal AI?** I think sometimes Signal is glitchy and slow. It's hard to move searches into other folders and annoying that when you click a link to a search, it doesn't automatically highlight which search it is on the left. You have to scroll down and find it which takes a lot of time. **What problems is Signal AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's nice that metrics can be easily displayed in charts and graphs.
