I think what I like best about Sigma is that I can turn it loose with all of the queries that I normally run manually, and have it build out my pivot tables and charts for me, without me having to remember to do it on time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do wish that there were more options for visualization. I also wish that I could build out multiple visualizations from the same data that all had data exclusions. Ease of use, ease of database hook up, out of box (essentially) usability. Customer service is very conscious of their customers and responds timely. Some of the visualization customizations are still being built out (i.e. color changes) and also how dashboards are shared isnt always the most simple. The ramp to being proficient with Sigma is a fairly long road. I'm an occasional user and I often find my self hunting and pecking for various tools/icons/buttons in the UI--the limited color scheme exacerbates this issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The easy to read/understand and create Excel functionality. Connecting to our warehouse is very seamless, and a lot of the functionality is intuitive and requires little training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sigma Solution reduced at least by 50% the time used to explore and understand the data in an enterprise data warehouse. By generating automatically the SQL and if something goes wrong with your query it allows the user to review the code behind it so a more advanced user can benefit from the tools as well.

As Sigma generates automatically the code for SQL queries the code can become redundant/duplicated. It has a big impact on the performance and it made resources of our data warehouse (Google Cloud Plattform - Big Query) reach their limits often during query execution.
