1) It does take a bit of time to get fully up to speed. More quickstarts and tutorials would be very helpful.

2) The pivot table component is too limited. It needs more Ui options, especially regarding how it handles totalling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find it to be very user friendly. I use it every day. Our engineers have built out some amazing boards on Sigma and I couldn't do my job without the data that is provided to me on the various Sigma boards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have some large data sets on Snowflake and Sigma makes it easy for our business users of all skill levels to dive right into the data sets to make reports and dashboards that are easy to read and widely used by others in our company. It's quick to get started and easy to use with its spreadsheet-like interface. There's a lot of flexibility in governance, setting up workspaces for different teams, and managing permissions across users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Functionality restrictions locked behind higher priced licenses. There are cumbersome workarounds that should just be available for the base tier like exporting data. Any user can copy/paste data from a table in Sigma into another tool, but they're not able to get an export button unless they're on a higher license tier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sigma makes data visualization super easy. The way it integrates spreadsheet-like features is unique and makes it very easy to train new users. Their support is top-notch as well, with response times being sub-1 minute. We've been able to solve a lot of unique issues using Sigma that we haven't been able to before Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Inability for Lite users to simply export a workbook isn't ideal. They make it difficult for Lite users to fully utilize dashboards (not talking explore) without needing Essential or Pro functionality. I enjoy the easy of navigating reports as well as how clear the information is presented. It easily pulls from our POS and inventory systems and reflects data accurately. If you have an issue customer support is quick to resolve. I use the system daily . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As long as you have a team that can power sigma and get it to do what you need it to do it is extremely powerful to pull the data that you need for your company. The data we get helps determine what changes we need to make and helps gain and retain clients. It was really easy to add it to our software and it is easy for our clients to use even when we have not instructed them how to read the data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At times, you need to get creative to be able to pull the data you need. If you do not have a strong set of staff it may be difficult to achieve you desired results. There is a lag sometimes to have the data pull but it is not very frequent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
