Sigma allows us to visualize and analyze complex data without coding skills. The UI is intuitive once you spent some time in the app, but they provide great training where they teach you everything you need.
They offer a lot of customization to create compelling charts and dashboards to communicate insights effectively.
However, the highlight for me is their support team. They offer live chat and the team is knowledgeable enough to help you build just about everything you can think of, in just a short chat. If things get more complex they often hop on a call during this chat and help you build what you need. It is really impressive! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Due to the way how you can create new columns (using functions), it can be difficult to motivate end users to start creating their own reports or exploring what you built. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- The Concept: I think it's brilliant that Sigma leveraged the idea that everyone knows and understands Excel/Google Sheets. Then accessed data in Snowflake and leveraged compute in Snowflake to create a tool that allows more non-technical users to be highly effective analysts with only Google Sheets/Excel skills.
- Support: Their support is second to none, though I'm skeptical of its scalability. For now, having someone real and competent on the other side to answer questions immediately is fantastic.
- Speed of Delivery: They have a solid product and development team, as seen through their velocity of major feature releases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Cost: It's expensive to upgrade once you're in. Recommend knowing what you'll need immediately, but negotiate for what you need in 2 years.
- Visualizations: Solid enough for rudimentary visualizations, but has a lot to catch up on, especially if they want to compete with the BI giants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You can create diferent types of sigmas and filter information that will help not only you but other people in yout bussiness. you can also implement options.
I use it everyday to get metrics for my Team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
sometimes it takes a long time to refresh Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Good roadmap of features and regular cadence of releases. Nice visualizations and interface. The "Excel-like" workbooks enable power users to take control of their analytics rather than relying on a central IT or data group to provide those. My team can focus more on data acquisition. The licensing model leaves a lot to be desired. Standard functionality in other BI tools (export to Excel for instance) is lacking and you need a more advanced license to use. We've had a number of issues with SSO and SAML. I feel that future revisions of the software could improve this functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best thing is that you can perform analytics and create vizualizations and dashboards - so it serves as a one stop shop for all your needs! Highly recommended for creating demos/reports! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It could have additional plotting capabilities like combining/superimposing two complex plots like box plots with jitters for more powerful vizualizations. Also if titles/axis on graphs could be dynamic based on filter values you could select, that would be fantastic! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Best thing about sigma is having the access of data for each individual metric we need to caculate if a site is being run well or how to improve based on those numbers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far nothing about sigma is dislikable Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Pulling together visualizations and tables is extremely quick! Manipulating data has become easy and almost enjoyable because of the features Sigma offers. I love that I can quickly pull in columns from other data sets (with millions of rows). I'm excited to start using input tables. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside I can think of is that it is an entirely different platform requiring a significant time investment. It's not like you can transfer your Excel knowledge and automatically know the Sigma formulas. I do think it is worth it, though. Just depends on your capacity at work. I really enjoy how customizable and creative one can be with data visualization and dashboarding, I feel like this is a great, fun way to tell a story while expressing data insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The least helpful thing about Sigma, personally, is how intimidating it can be for new users. There are lots of features, which is great, but the learning curve for onboarding a new user is steep and can make explaining these features to less tech saavy stakeholders a bit difficult.
