Sigma is a godsend for data-driven companies like ours that don't have dedicated data scientists sitting around to write SQL queries all day. It's easy to setup, easy to use, and feature-rich. We use it every day as our team's primary source of data-truth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The file organization works well enough, but it can be a bit unwieldy and I find it easy to lose track of some worksheets Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you’re in Snowflake, Sigma is a must. It has some top notch features that leverages Snowflake like no other platform I’ve used.
Biggest strengths are…
It’s so intuitive to use that it really solves the “Self-Service Analytics” need of a company. New users can navigate and build with little to no training, plus the lite license allows you to deploy without any hassle. The dashboard building is simplified so that you can build easily without sacrificing quality or aesthetics.
The team at Sigma. They are amazing at making themselves available to address issues and work with you on building out different use-cases for providing value to others in your organization. They truly become a partner for you during your development and deployment early on.
The rapid development of new features is also a huge strength. New features are constantly getting pushed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing that I dislike specifically but I think they really need a module to integrate scripting. The ability to integrate Python scripting within data models or dashboards would really take it to the next level. This could be awesome for data manipulation and some more advanced analytics.
Also, the mapping utilizes Mapbox which I’m not a huge fan of. I really wish it could integrate layers and the use of multiple shapefiles.
I do also wish it had a few more options on the visualizations. I think there are some additional options could really set it apart. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to exploit input tables for endless use cases, e.g. ad hoc taxonomy, lookups, scenario modeling, etc. This enables us to finally make a compelling case for users to stop exporting data to spreadsheets and use the native Sigma features to do everything they need directly from the application.
A close second is the no-code UI, with robust version control -- no need to manage a discrete modeling layer, just connect directly to your entities from the data warehouse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Content search is robust and user friendly, but doesn't always yield expected results -- would like to see some level of configurability on the Admin side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that it has many functions and seems like sigma has thought of it all. Its easy to use for my analytics team as well as the end user the different marketing teams. I am able to take the data that the analytics team has made available and cleaned up and am able to make new tables/data sets. It was very easy to learn and work with. No complaints that i can think of, any issues i have are data-related issues to do with our foundational issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best part of Sigma for me is that it allows the apps to have sleek modern look with little to no effort. It has wide variety of customization options, viz objects look clean and fresh. It is extremely easy to work with this product especially having prior experience of using Excel as a viz tool. Also I really appreciate the Customer Support service, on early stages of getting dev experience with Sigma I am using them as second opinion - in situations when the requirements of the app cannot be satisfied in the way I used to do things. Some part (rather small) of features we are used to in our previous BI tool are not yet available, and the only way to know if such features were considered to be implemented at some point is to use Support online chat. Also there's less flexibility in mixing different data sources in one app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sigma is very easy to use, well-thought out, and extremely high-performing. The solution makes it easy to build data models, create visualizations, share bookmarks with colleagues and organize insights from data. Our rep is also very good at brainstorming and offering us ideas and suggestions - often pointing us to resources. Plus, I love the built-in live chat feature - have used it 4 times and it's really helpful at the moment I'm stuck. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Self-service documentation could be better. I'm still exploring the community site, but it's not easy to get over there and find what I need. I wish Sigma would invest in more examples, more templates, more documentation resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sigma has a very user friendly Interface and Drag and Drop functionality. Creating a dashboard layout is very easy in sigma as the elements auto adjusts itself, easy to trim extra spaces . Also it has got the write back capability by using input using using will can write back to the database, We can have a Centralised datasets/ Data Models Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Currently I am finding it difficult to create a custom visualisation , which are not available in Sigma default library. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's basically as useful as you know how to make it. If you can make charts and graphs in excel, you can use Sigma. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've been limited by the fact that you have to use everything in a column way, rather than having the option to use subtotals or sums the way you can in Excel. I'm not saying it should always be structured the same, but having more flexibility in how the charts tally would be really useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best part is the minimal effort to create elements on a dashboard. Connecting to data sources is trivial. Once data is connected creating pivot tables and graphs is done in minutes. THEIR CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS UNMATCHED - I used their chat and within minutes each time my issue was resolved. Their experts are truly brilliant. Have used numerous similar tools - nothing comes close Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The product lacks nothing - more than fulfilled my product needs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Extremely easy to build out comprehensive and detailed views. Flexibility in the UI and design is also extremely swift - can create really stunning experiences. Having real customer support during working hours is also huge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I honestly do not have any complaints about Sigma yet. I have been able to build and design anything that I have envisioned thus far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Three things:
1) Direct connection to your data, no extracts, no delays
2) No need to learn a new programming language or platform
3) Easy to use UI Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1) It does take a bit of time to get fully up to speed. More quickstarts and tutorials would be very helpful.
2) The pivot table component is too limited. It needs more Ui options, especially regarding how it handles totalling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
