Sift's Network tab is extremely useful for identifying connections between accounts that may be used by the same individual to bypass platform rules. The visual representation of relationships between users helps uncover suspicious behavior patterns that would be easy to miss manually. While Sift is strong on device and network-level signals, I wish it could incorporate additional metadata such as shared passwords or credential reuse to strengthen detection. The normal curve distribution doesn't 100% make sense with fraud risk distribution. On average about 5% of transactions are fraud so it would make more sense for the distribution to be right skewed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like the most about Sift is how it learns over time. It uses machine learning to get smarter with every transaction, which really helps to cut down on false positives while still catching fraud. I also like how customizable it is—so you can adjust it depending on what kind of risk you’re dealing with. We consistently utilize SIFT in our daily investigations. As risk investigators, SIFT has become an essential part of our assessments. It guides us in decision-making by providing valuable insights such as login activities, locations and devices used, and other online behaviors of customers. The tool is user-friendly and seamlessly integrates with our other systems for conducting checks. Our Customer Support team also relies on this tool. The scores are no justified, sometimes the ATO score is really high when there are not discrepancy between the IPs. Or sometimes there are a lot of IPs on the republic when the user only logged on 1 city. I understand that that depends on what internet company is using or if your are using mobile data but Sift does not detect that. Also, sometimes there are like different devices but have the same IP, it would be really good if there is like a new section where you can see that without having to check all the activity one by one. Sift makes it easy for us to spot and stop fraud in real time, which really helps us make faster, more confident decisions. Some decisions require manual review, and the reason codes could be more detailed. The least helpful part is the limited transparency behind some risk scores, which makes it harder to understand why certain decisions were made. I love that fact that Sift helped me track down around 1Lakh spammers and BOT accounts and helped me restrict them. With Sift it becomes easy to collect all vital data and work around it.
