"A Helpful Tool That Simplifies My Work"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sift?

I really like how easy Sift is to use. It’s clear, simple to understand, and helps me find what I need quickly. Everything works smoothly, and it fits well with the other tools I use. The support team is also friendly and quick to help whenever I have questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sift?

Some of the link information in the network tab can be confusing, especially when account details are connected to multiple active or suspended users. It would be much better if we could limit the display to the top 10 links instead of showing all of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fraud Prevention and Fast, Confident Risk Decisions"
5/5
What do you like best about Sift?

Sift is especially helpful because it detects and prevents fraud in real time, verifies user identities to help maintain account integrity, and delivers actionable insights and risk scores that enable businesses to make quick, informed decisions. It also reduces operational burden and strengthens overall trust across the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sift?

Some downsides of using Sift include the risk of false positives, which can end up frustrating legitimate users. It also relies heavily on accurate input data, and any issues there can affect the accuracy of its scores. In addition, it may have limited ability to detect very niche or newly emerging types of fraud, and for some businesses the integration can be both costly and complex. "Real-Time Fraud Prevention That Protects Good Users—with a Strong Product Mindset"
5/5
What do you like best about Sift?

What I like best about Sift is how it turns a really hard, high-stakes problem—fraud and abuse—into something actionable in real time. The combination of strong machine learning, massive network data, and a clear focus on trust means the work has very tangible impact: it protects businesses and keeps good users from being punished by false positives.

I’m also drawn to Sift’s product mindset—practical, customer-centric, and built to scale—plus the culture of collaboration across engineering, data, and product to solve messy, real-world problems together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sift?

One potential downside is that working in fraud and abuse prevention means the problem space is constantly shifting—bad actors adapt quickly—so there’s ongoing pressure to evolve models, rules, and infrastructure at a fast pace. That can be challenging and requires a high tolerance for ambiguity and continuous iteration.

That said, I see this less as a flaw in Sift itself and more as an inherent trade-off of operating in a mission-critical, adversarial domain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
