**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Sierra?**

What I like best about Sierra is how focused it is on handling customer service interactions through AI rather than just acting as a basic chatbot. It can understand the context of a conversation, take actions across connected systems, and handle more of the customer journey end to end. That makes it useful for reducing repetitive support work while still keeping the experience fairly conversational.

**What do you dislike about Sierra?**

The main downside is that getting the most out of Sierra can require some setup and tuning, especially when connecting it to existing systems and defining how it should handle different scenarios. For more complex customer issues, I’d still want a human involved rather than relying completely on the AI. It would also be helpful to have more control over customization and troubleshooting when an interaction doesn’t go as expected.

**What problems is Sierra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sierra helps reduce the workload on customer support teams by handling repetitive customer requests and automating parts of the resolution process. It can understand customer intent, access relevant information, and take actions instead of just giving scripted responses. This helps reduce response times, improve consistency, and lets support teams focus more on complex issues that actually need human involvement.

  ### 2. Sierra Core Functions in the Browser, but Slow and Hard to Navigate

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Sierra?**

It lets library staff carry out the same core functions available in the traditional Sierra Desktop Application, but directly through a web browser.

**What do you dislike about Sierra?**

It’s slow and lags a lot. It’s also very difficult to navigate, and I need more clarity when trying to find and understand the information.

**What problems is Sierra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sierra addresses the challenge of managing library operations by bringing everything into one centralized platform. It allows staff to manage circulation, cataloging, patron records, and reporting within a single system. Sierra Web builds on this by offering browser-based access, so there’s no need to install a desktop client. For me, this translates into better productivity and simpler day-to-day access, with fewer IT support needs, and it helps me serve patrons more efficiently by getting to accurate information faster.

  ### 3. Sierra Delivers Fast, Natural Customer Support From Start to Finish

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Sierra?**

What I like most about Sierra is how effectively it manages customer conversations from start to finish. It understands a customer’s intent, responds in a natural way, and can take action rather than just offering generic replies. As a result, support feels faster and more consistent, and it also helps reduce the workload for human agents.

**What do you dislike about Sierra?**

The main thing I dislike is that Sierra can sometimes struggle with more complex or unusual customer requests. When that happens, the responses can feel repetitive and may still require human intervention to resolve the issue. I’d also like to see more flexibility and control over how the AI handles edge cases and adapts to different customer scenarios.

**What problems is Sierra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sierra helps reduce the workload for customer support teams by automating routine questions, troubleshooting, and service requests. It delivers faster responses and more consistent support, improving the overall customer experience while allowing human agents to focus more of their time on complex issues.

  ### 4. AI-Powered Support Automation That Feels Natural and Takes Action

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Sierra?**

Sierra’s biggest strength is how it blends AI with practical customer support automation. I like that it can manage customer conversations in a natural way, understand context, and actually take action rather than relying on scripted replies. It cuts down on repetitive support tasks while still delivering a more personalized experience for customers.

**What do you dislike about Sierra?**

The main thing I dislike about Sierra is that it can sometimes struggle with complex or unusual customer requests. When the AI doesn’t fully understand the context, its responses can come across as repetitive and may still require human intervention. I’d also like to see more customization and control over how the AI handles different situations, especially when the request isn’t straightforward.

**What problems is Sierra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sierra helps address customer support challenges by automating repetitive questions, responding to conversations quickly, and reducing the workload for support teams. For me, that means support feels faster and more convenient, while human agents can spend their time on more complex issues that still need a personal touch.

**What do you like best about Sierra?**

I use Sierra to manage and review revenue-related information, research customer account details, and support reconciliation. I appreciate its quick access to relevant data, which reduces the time spent on research and helps me resolve issues more efficiently. I like that it brings together all the information needed to investigate issues and perform analyses efficiently. Gathering all the necessary information in one place helps me because it eliminates the need to search across multiple systems for relevant data.

**What do you dislike about Sierra?**

When loading large amounts of data or running complex searches, Sierra can be improved. I would appreciate more advanced filtering options that allow users to refine results by attributes such as date range, transaction type, and account status.

**What problems is Sierra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sierra to manage revenue info, research customer accounts, and support reconciliation. It gives quick data access, reducing research time and resolving issues efficiently. Sierra centralizes information for effective analysis and eliminates searching across systems.

  ### 6. Makes handling customer conversations a lot easier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** pravin g. | Data Research Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through a business email account

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Sierra?**

What I like most about Sierra is that it can actually carry on a real conversation, rather than just returning generic chatbot responses. It picks up on context pretty well and can handle the different ways customers might ask the same question. It’s also helped cut down a lot of repetitive work for our team, which is probably the biggest benefit for us overall.

**What do you dislike about Sierra?**

The main thing I would improve is the initial setup. It takes some time to get the workflows and responses working exactly the way you want. We had to test a few different situations and make adjustments along the way. Once everything is set up, it works well, but getting to that point could be a little easier.

**What problems is Sierra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We mainly use Sierra for handling repetitive customer questions and requests. Before that, the team had to spend a lot of time dealing with the same types of conversations. Now Sierra can take care of many of those on its own and pass the more complicated ones to the team. It has made the support process quicker and freed up time for the team to focus on other work.

  ### 7. Intuitive and Easy to Use—Sierra Keeps Everything Organized

What I like best about Sierra is how intuitive and easy it is to use. It keeps information organized in one place, makes tracking work and follow-ups simple, and helps teams stay aligned without adding unnecessary complexity. The value is strong compared to the cost because Sierra saves time, simplifies access to important information, and helps turn data into actionable insights. The efficiency and visibility it provides make it worthwhile.

**What do you dislike about Sierra?**

I dislike that Sierra can sometimes feel a little slow or require too many steps to get to the information I need. Making navigation faster and simplifying some of the workflows would improve the overall experience.

**What problems is Sierra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sierra helps solve the challenge of keeping information organized and easily accessible. It makes it easier to track performance, identify trends and opportunities, and have more productive conversations with the team. This saves time, provides better visibility, and allows me to focus more on coaching and improving overall performance.

What I like best about Sierra is how easy it is to build and manage AI-powered customer experiences without having to start everything from scratch. It does a good job of handling natural conversations, and the platform feels flexible enough to customize the AI around your specific needs and workflows.

**What do you dislike about Sierra?**

The main downside is that Sierra can take some time to learn and configure properly, especially when setting up more complex workflows. Some of the options and settings are not always immediately obvious, so there can be a bit of trial and error before everything works exactly the way you want.

**What problems is Sierra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sierra helps reduce the amount of time spent handling repetitive customer questions and routine support tasks. It can automate a lot of the initial communication while still providing useful, natural responses. This saves time, improves response speed, and allows staff to focus more on issues that actually require human attention.

  ### 9. Sierra Delivers Natural, Personalized Support That Resolves Issues Fast

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Sierra?**

Sierra’s biggest strength is how naturally it can handle customer support conversations while still taking real action, rather than just delivering scripted replies. I appreciate that it can resolve common issues quickly, understand the context of a request, and create a more personalized customer experience overall.

**What do you dislike about Sierra?**

The main thing I dislike is that Sierra can sometimes struggle with more complex or unusual customer requests. When a conversation goes beyond its expected workflow, the replies can start to feel repetitive and may end up needing human intervention to move things forward.

**What problems is Sierra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sierra helps address the challenge of handling repetitive customer support requests at scale. It automates common questions and routine tasks, shortens response times, and enables customers to resolve issues without having to wait for a human agent. As a result, support becomes more efficient, and human teams are freed up to focus on more complex cases.

**What do you like best about Sierra?**

I use Sierra for my business, Vantelle, and it helps me automate customer-side work easily. I can create agents that handle customer conversations through WhatsApp chat and emails, which reduces the workload on our support team. These agents work 24/7 and provide quick resolutions. For instance, if an order is damaged, the agent asks for damage photos, uploads them to our website, and our support team issues refunds if necessary. Sierra also efficiently manages order returns and provides support for orders. I think it's flexible to work with and I generally find it to be the best option for our needs.

**What do you dislike about Sierra?**

I think the analytical power of agents needs to improve. Moreover, while I found the setup easy, I needed more technical knowledge.

**What problems is Sierra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sierra to automate customer work, manage conversations via WhatsApp and emails, and handle orders and returns. It reduces our support team's workload.

**G2 Icon:** Our network of Icons are G2 members who are recognized for their outstanding contributions and commitment to helping others through their expertise.

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Sierra?**

I use Sierra to build and manage AI agents for customer service, and I like that it can handle automation across chat, voice, email, and messaging, which makes support faster and more consistent. Sierra manages to combine contextual AI, system integrations, and smooth handoffs to human agents. What I like most about Sierra is that it goes beyond simple chatbot-style answers—the agents can use business systems to take actions and resolve customer issues end-to-end. The interface is fairly intuitive for building and testing journeys, and features like AI-powered simulations and conversation insights make it easier to improve the agent over time. Plus, the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Sierra?**

One area I’d like to see improved is the reporting and analytics experience—it can be harder than expected to turn the available conversation data into clear, actionable insights. Integrations and more complex workflows can also take some effort to set up, so making those parts more self-serve would make Sierra easier to adopt and maintain.

**What problems is Sierra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sierra to automate routine support interactions, reducing repetitive customer-support work. It speeds up and makes support more consistent by handling requests end-to-end, integrating systems, and ensuring smooth handoffs to human agents.

I like Sierra's ability to deliver accurate, natural-sounding responses while automating a large portion of customer support interactions. I also appreciate Sierra's intuitive interface and the speed at which new workflows can be deployed. The platform is stable, requires minimal maintenance, and scales well as support volume increases. Overall, I would recommend Sierra because it offers strong AI-powered customer support capabilities, reliable automation, and an intuitive user experience.

**What do you dislike about Sierra?**

Sierra has worked well overall, but there are a few areas that could be improved. Occasionally, the AI struggles with complex or highly specific customer queries and requires more manual intervention. Overall, I am satisfied with Sierra, but it could be even better with more customization option for AI behavior and conversation flows, enhanced multilingual support, and more pre-built integrations with enterprise applications.

**What problems is Sierra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sierra to reduce support team workload by automating responses to inquiries, improving response times, and enabling 24/7 support. It provides consistent and accurate answers, enhancing the overall customer experience with intelligent chat and workflow automation.

  ### 18. Powerful AI Agents for Automating Multi-Step Workflows

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vivaan K. | Data Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was not provided any incentive by G2 for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Sierra?**

Sierra offers more than just an ability to give answers. Its AI agents can also interact with business systems and execute multi-step actions. As far as I'm concerned from data engineering standpoint, the ability of Sierra to integrate agents with systems of record is very appealing because of the possibility of automation of multi-steps workflows.

**What do you dislike about Sierra?**

The connection of an autonomous agent to operational systems requires rigorous testing and governance. I would like to test how the agent behaves with unanticipated input, permission management, handling of errors and making wrong decisions prior to using it in production.

**What problems is Sierra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main advantage of such a product is that it will reduce manual labor on routine yet multi-step procedures. Sierra can keep the context of interaction, execute actions via systems integration and escalate complicated cases to the right people with prepared context.

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Sierra?**

What I like best about Sierra is how natural and conversational it feels. It understands context well, remembers what has already been discussed, and responds in a way that feels more like talking to a person than a traditional chatbot. It also provides fast, relevant answers and asks thoughtful follow-up questions, making conversations smooth and engaging.

**What do you dislike about Sierra?**

One thing I dislike about Sierra is that it can sometimes sound overly polished or scripted, especially in more complex conversations where a more personalised response would be helpful. There are also times when it struggles with highly specific or unusual requests, requiring a human agent to step in. While it handles routine interactions well, there is still room for improvement in adapting to more nuanced situations.

**What problems is Sierra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Sierra?**

What I like most is that it lets us build sophisticated AI agents without needing a huge engineering team. Anyone can define workflows in plain English using Agent Studio, while developers still have full control with the Agent SDK when they need it. I also really appreciate the outcome-based pricing, since we only pay when the agent actually resolves an issue—not just for usage or seats.

**What do you dislike about Sierra?**

What I dislike most is the lack of pricing transparency—you have to go through a full sales cycle just to get a quote, with annual contracts reportedly starting around $150,000 and setup fees up to $200,000. On top of that, voice latency can reach 700ms, which creates awkward dead air during calls. I’ve also noticed the platform can struggle to maintain context in longer conversations, which sometimes leads to repetitive or overly generic responses.

**What problems is Sierra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It addresses the major challenge of building reliable, enterprise-grade AI agents by taking care of the complex infrastructure and guardrails for us. That means we can launch a sophisticated agent quickly without needing an army of engineers, and it also frees our team to focus on improving our core product rather than managing the underlying setup.

  ### 21. Transforms Customer Support with Automation

**What do you like best about Sierra?**

I like Sierra's ability to deliver natural, human-like conversations while maintaining high accuracy and consistency. It automates routine requests and seamlessly handles more complex conversations by routing them to human agents, which has significantly improved both team efficiency and overall customer experience. I also appreciate how it feels more personalized, helping customers feel understood rather than like they're talking to a basic chatbot. It asks relevant follow-up questions and provides accurate responses, leading to higher first contact resolution rates and better customer experience. The setup is easy too.

**What do you dislike about Sierra?**

We find training the AI for highly specialized or industry-specific use cases requires significant time and ongoing refinement to consistently deliver the right responses. Expanding integration options with a wider range of third-party business applications and providing more flexibility in workflow customization would make the platform even more adaptable for organizations with complex support processes.

**What problems is Sierra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sierra to automate customer conversations and repetitive inquiries, providing fast and accurate responses 24/7. It improves team efficiency and customer experience by handling routine requests and seamlessly transitioning to human agents for complex issues.

**What do you like best about Sierra?**

I like that Sierra is simple and fast, helping me find the information I need without much effort. I most use the searching and Question and Answer features because they help me find relevant information quickly and provide clear answers. It has been useful for understanding new concepts and finding information faster, and it reduces the time I spend searching through different websites and documentation. The initial setup was straightforward and didn't take much time, allowing me to start using it without any major issues. Additionally, using Sierra alongside Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Azure Portal, and Microsoft Learn helps me find information faster while working with these tools.

**What do you dislike about Sierra?**

I'd just like to see faster responses for complex queries and more consistent results when searching for technical information. It would be helpful if complex technical queries could be processed a bit faster without affecting the quality of the answer.

**What problems is Sierra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sierra to get quick answers to technical questions and for day-to-day tasks. It helps me understand new concepts, find information faster, and reduces the time spent searching through websites, allowing me to focus more on completing my work.

It improves communication and brainstorming for employee engagement activities. I love that it's easy to use and genuinely saves a lot of time, making my work more productive without making it feel automated. The biggest value is that Sierra reduces the time spent on repetitive work while maintaining the quality of work and not compromising on professionalism. It makes everyday tasks more manageable. I also found the initial setup quite simple and straightforward, and the overall onboarding process was smooth and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Sierra?**

I find the platform works well, but there are a few areas I think could be improved. Sometimes I feel the response is a bit generic and needs manual refining, especially with HR-related communication. I think it would be helpful if the response could be faster and if more complex tasks could be customizable.

**What problems is Sierra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sierra to support day-to-day work, improve communication, and brainstorm. It reduces time on repetitive tasks, maintains work quality, and enhances productivity without losing professionalism, making my tasks more manageable.

  ### 24. Transforms Customer Support with Natural AI Interactions

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Sierra?**

I use Sierra to automate customer support conversations and provide quick, accurate responses to common customer questions. It helps us handle routine inquiries efficiently while maintaining a natural, conversational experience for users. I like most about Sierra is how natural and conversational the AI interactions feel. It responds quickly, understands customer questions well, and provides relevant answers without making the conversation feel robotic. I also appreciate how easy it is to customize the assistant to fit our support workflows and knowledge base. The platform is intuitive to use and has helped us improve response time while maintaining a consistent experience for our customers. One of the biggest advantages for us is how easy it is to tailor Sierra to our existing support process. We can update the knowledge base with product information, FAQs, and internal documentation, so the AI provides answers that are relevant to our business instead of generic responses. I also like that we can adjust the assistant's behavior and conversation flow to match the way our support team communicates with customers, which helps create a more consistent experience across different support channels. Integrating it with our CRM, internal knowledge base, and customer support platform helps the AI access relevant customer information and update documentation, making its response more accurate and consistent.

**What do you dislike about Sierra?**

Overall, my experience with Sierra has been positive, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The initial setup and customization can take some time, especially when building a detailed knowledge base or fine-tuning conversation flows. There is also a bit of a learning curve for new users who are not familiar with AI-powered support platforms. In addition, I'd like to see more built-in analytics and reporting options to make it easier to measure conversation performance without relying on external tools. These aren't major issues but addressing them would make the platform even more user-friendly.

**What problems is Sierra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sierra to automate customer support, providing quick responses to FAQs and maintaining a natural experience. Sierra reduces our support workload and improves response times. However, the initial setup can be complex, and it lacks built-in analytics for measuring performance.

I use Sierra alongside other enterprise software like Salesforce and various internal database management systems to ensure seamless data synchronization and unified customer support workflows.

Sierra performs well with routine support requests, but there are situations where the AI still benefits from human review to ensure responses match the right context and tone. I'd also like to see more flexibility around conversation customization and analytics. While the reporting is useful, having deeper insights into customer interaction trends and more granular control over AI behavior would make it easier to continuously refine the customer experience. It tends to produce responses that feel conversational and aligned with a company's brand voice

**What do you dislike about Sierra?**
