What do you like best about Shufti?

Shufti is a perfect fit for small companies and MLROs who wants to apply internal controls in AML for global markets with a reasonable cost. I like so much the administrator account and KRIs created for the teams because facilitating the UX. Unfortunately, I´m not recommended to acquire Shufti if you need to use the plugin because is not update it. They are very up to date with compliance requirements and highly responsive. They provide a full compliance due diligence service, covering onboarding, screening, periodic reviews, risk rating, and more. What do you dislike about Shufti?

We have evaluated various regtech systems that offer compliance services, like ShuftiPro, and it’s incomparable. Honestly, up to now we haven’t had any issues to point out, since any questions or concerns are addressed right away.

What I dislike about ShuftiPro is the limited flexibility for UI/UX customization, which makes it harder to fully align the user journey with our intended product experience. On top of that, being charged even for negative or failed verification results can drive up overall costs. I like that the dashboard is easy to use and navigate, and that there are many options to customize the journey and workflow to suit our needs. Above all, the fact that so many different languages and ID types are supported is a big plus point for us.

There are occasions when a user trying to verify their ID is shown an error message that doesn't specifically explain what the issue is, so they either continue trying and failing or contacting our CS team. While we have been able to identify and fix the issues after talking with the Shufti tech team, we are currently considering ways that we could make troubleshooting easier for the user. What do you like best about Shufti?

I use Shufti for AML screening, ID document verification, and liveness verification, and I find the platform's layout very nice and straightforward. It's very easy for me to quickly start using it and perform my AML screening. I appreciate being able to easily tailor my questionnaire to fit my firm's compliance policies and workflow. The client service team is really responsive, with super-fast email replies, which is very helpful. Shufti offered a good price while still providing very good services. I was using their testing account at the beginning, but I found their testing account is totally separate from the production environment, which makes me need to re-screen previous cases in the production account again as there's no way to migrate the data from the testing account to the production account. What do you like best about Shufti?

We use Shufti primarily for KYC/KYB and compliance-driven onboarding flows in a regulated fintech env. What I appreciate most is the flexibility of their journeys and the overall API structure.

From a product standpoint, it lets us build and maintain our own onboarding logic on our platform, while triggering Shufti verification journeys only when needed. That separation matters to us: we don’t want a black-box onboarding tool; we want control over sequencing and our compliance logic. Shufti supports that approach.

The coverage (individual and business verification), the ability to configure flows, and the relatively straightforward integration have made it a practical fit for a regulated setup. What do you dislike about Shufti?

Like most compliance tools, it’s powerful,but that also means you need clarity and strong internal alignment before you implement it. It isn’t a plug-and-play solution where everything is automatically structured for you. You have to define your own flows, edge cases and operational handling upfront.

From a UX and configuration standpoint, a few areas could be more intuitive, particularly when you’re coordinating across product, tech, and compliance teams. Some configuration choices aren’t immediately clear unless you’ve spent time digging through the documentation.
