Its user interface feels more technical and less intuitive compared to modern data integration tools, often requiring strong command-line knowledge. Additionally, advanced transformations and data integration features are limited, meaning you may need to use other tools for complex ETL or analytics workflows. It also is able to recover from any OS/DBA unexpected outages by reviewing the redo logs. It can automatically reconnect if any network issue occurs between source and target. **What do you dislike about SharePlex?** Originally there were memory leaks on the Solaris SPARC platform, but those have been fixed since version 8.6.1. **What problems is SharePlex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Replication to a second off-site DR location.
