Great, easy 3D modeling tool. Very powerful! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Give me copy/paste!!!!! I need to be able to copy objects from one project to another!!! And while you’re at it, let us copy or duplicate projects. It's too cumbersome as it is!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Shapr3D is intuitive and very easy to use. The learning process is quick, and what I like the most is that you can download it with an educational license for free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Even though Shapr3D is very easy to use, if you do not have a three-button mouse, it is pretty confusing; I recommend avoiding using a mighty mouse and better try a standard mouse with a middle wheel to be productive and less confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The intuitive way of using the provided tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having been a cad user since early 90s, meaning using just command line instead of buttons, I am still struggling to move things around with precision. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I work on an iPad Pro. Working with the Apple Pencil on the iPad is fast and intuitive. I can make fast prototipes for 3d printing on the run is great.
Comparing to sketchup is more precise and the created solids prin much better. You don't get surprises with the geometry of the bodies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some processes of the drawing are not always intuitive for me, but I have to admit that I haven't checked most of the tutorials. So probably is my fault. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Customer service is great, but the tutorials that cover almost every aspect of the program are very steps by step and very easy to follow I've been a user of other cad programs for years and I needed something that worked on the iPad because it's one of my go to devices nowadays this really fit that bill Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly I think the limitations would be in not taking the time to watch the demos and to review the tutorials because it is an intuitive drying environment and so if you overthink it it makes it way more difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Intuitive interface for drawing 3D graphic with Apple Pencil. It started on iPad so it's super easy to sketch a model when the idea comes or simply demo to someone. Newly added function - visualization is super easy to use and create the realistic view before jumping into production without difficult of finding correct parameters for rendering the materials. Sometimes still a little buggy on visualization function. It rarely happens though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Shapr3D is easy to learn and use. With a small background in 3D, I didn't need much time trying the app to feel confident that I would be able to put my ideas out and make real projects. In no time I was printing 3D parts I designed in the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No major complaints at the moment. I was quite surprised with the usability on a tablet using a pen. I just find myself reselecting faces all the time, but I'm not sure how to improve that on the product side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As mentioned before, it's a very straightforward approach on modeling that with a very powerful outliner for design management that will amaze any kind of user. As soon as you have the app on, you'll be modeling something and modifying it in an instant and organizing everything in folders, as complicated as you'd like or may need. Beside that, visualization is awesome and instantaneous. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find the layout features very impressive but rigid, a bit more freedom is missed as for view development; At least for architectural and interior design, drawing and hatching is a basic that shouldn't be missing. A better handling of bitmaps in visualization, again, a matter of freedom as basic as rotating of a texture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm a retired product designer with 40 years experience. I've used AutoCAD, Inventor, Solid Works, Autodesk 3D Max, Fusion 360 and evaluated just about every 3D CAD tool in existence. For the past 2 years I've been using Shapr3d almost everyday. Nothing has been as intuitive as Shapr3d. Is it the most powerful? No. But I haven't run into anything in my mind that a can't create in Shapr. It impresses me that the developers release updates with new features every month or so and listen to and respond to user's suggestions.
The biggest complain I've hear so far is the price. The pro version, as of this writing, is $239 US per year. Not cheap. But it is also not a toy. This is a serious design app. I do most of my designs on an Apple iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil. Also an expensive setup. But damn, it's worth it! No regrets. Many of the features that have been rolled out recently are in their early stages. For instance 2d drawings lack some of the features the big boys have but it still very useful. I understand the developers are improving it now. The visualization tool is amazing but not on the level of 3d Max, for instance, but that's a $3,000/year program for movie makers! I don't expect Shapr3d to get there but they are rolling out new features often. Maybe they will! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
