What do you like best about seventhings?

It is easy to handle and set everything you need for your inventory. Setting up the company rooms and put a barcode on the device. Telling which model, serialnumber, purpose, where do you find it in your capital assets list so as which colleague uses it currently. Everything works fast and there are no problems! What do you like best about seventhings?

What do you dislike about seventhings?

It would be nice to have a service for the first time data cllection of your assets as it is time consuming but in the long rund it will safe you a lot of time and help prevent lots of different excel sheets Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about seventhings?

Seventhings has helped us to digitally record and manage thousands of items such as furniture, electronics or tools per room.

Thanks to Seventhings, we always have our inventory up to date and know which item is in which room at all times.

Using the Seventhings app and quickly scanning the QR code on the item, we can carry out the annual inventory quickly and easily.

Seventhings is great and the team behind Seventhings is always friendly and helpful! We recommend it to everyone!

Seventhings helped us get an overview of our inventory. In the past, the inventory was bought and it was always difficult to find the individual items during the annual check.

What do you like best about seventhings?

What I love about seventhings is the synergy between your mobile phone and your web platform as well as the import function. When we firt used seventhings, we had an inventory of 350+ units and after some formatting the csv, the import went without a hitch. Since we used an old inventorizing standard (basically INV001, INV 002 ...), the GUI allowed us to set a custom field for this specific purpose to easily track and adopt the inventory system with the barcode, which is customizable via seventhings. We like to create the inventory first on the web platform because of the intuitive overview and then manage from then on with the smartphone, which is really easy. As for reporting, seventhings helped us many times now to answer detailed questions from the Finance Department regarding the device parameters, for example the purchasing date, model and the invoice, which we all preconfigured as well. What do you dislike about seventhings?

Minor bugs but nothing major really. I have been in communication with seventhings regarding userfeedback over the past 2 years and they take recommendation / bug reporting / criticism extremely serious and have been in close contact with me all the way from ticket creation to a solution. We basically managed all our inventory with an excel and an inventory sticker. Over the years with the company increasing in size, we needed a centralized solution for the IT department to easily track inventory, avoid errors and have a reliable reporting solution for the execution as well for financial reasons. What do you like best about seventhings?

We were looking for a tool to track our patterns and came across (at that time still Itexia) seventhings as an alternative to a system made for this purpose.

Incredibly nice and personal service, good advice, great processes for making appointments and onboarding as well as contract management. We are completely satisfied.

What do you dislike about seventhings?

We are using seventhings as a tool to manage samples and are starting from scratch to enter all the items (about 1400) into the system. What do you like best about seventhings?

The search functions are helpful. You can search by any filter, such as item name, inventory number, invoice number, or manufacturer. There are many more options: Re-configure your search list by turning on/off several currently unnecessary criteria or by resorting them to any position via drag and drop. A color code gives you an accessible overview over items that are ok, incomplete or in need of a review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about seventhings?

Items can be sorted into inventory categories and subcategories, which is practical. However, the subcategories are not working as a dropdown menu (still shown at once). They also cannot be searched yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about seventhings?

The inventory software from seventhings gives us the opportunity to record our inventory quickly and easily and to maintain the data on an ongoing basis. It was possible to adapt the program to our needs and requirements. The software and especially the rights and role concept is convincing due to its clarity. What do you like best about seventhings?

With the help of seventhings, we have reliably managed company inventories. Away from tedious lists, typing of serial numbers and time-consuming process chains when assigning inventories to employees - towards sustainable and efficient inventory processes with the help of simple stickers on assets and their integration into the system through foolproof scanning through the in-house app. The dashboard enables the administrator to overview the evaluations of all assets at any time and prepare individual asset reports for exceptional cases. And not only at the workplace - but also on the road, directly at the help.

The simplicity of seventhings without missing vital functions despite a wide range of possibilities is one of the reasons why seventhings reduce the internal administration effort to a joyfully encountered minimum. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about seventhings?

The concept of seventhings is convincing and fun. Due to the customizable field definitions, the idea can be adapted to any company, regardless of the industry, the selected assets, and the desired management.

Nevertheless, some of the technical functions are not yet fully developed. Dependencies between fields are not possible. By displaying fields based on a set dependency of another field, inventories could be stated even more individually and useless information could be hidden. This would provide much more overview, depending on inventory group or entered information per asset. At the moment, all set information is displayed for all inventories. Seventhings enables a sustainable overview of truly all corporate values. Regardless of purchased equipment, furniture, digital licenses or even locations. Not only a part of the company inventory is mapped. Due to the individualization options, the entire company inventory can (if desired) be mapped in an easy-to-use tool.
