**What do you like best about ServSuite® by FieldRoutes?**

It is very complete software for the pest control industry. It has very detailed reports.

**What do you dislike about ServSuite® by FieldRoutes?**

The software appears to be very outdated, and it is neither intuitive nor user-friendly. It is cluttered with text, confusing, and I assure you that over 50% of the options are things you will never use. Our team spent over 25 hours on training and implementation, which is unacceptable for software and apps in the 21st century. The app looks like it was created 10 years ago, and it is complicated to use. The on-field reports are not uploaded automatically; nothing is automatic, and you have to actually open multiple screens before successfully uploading the information to the server. Our expectations with servsuite were for it to be a tool that makes work more manageable, but it was the opposite. Before using servsuite, work flowed more smoothly and definitely quicker. Barcoding does not work well. My suggestion is that if you are thinking of hiring software for pest control, consider one that is more adapted to the current (2021) needs in mobile and desktop apps.

**Recommendations to others considering ServSuite® by FieldRoutes:**

I will definitely recommend to look for another software provider. ServSuite might have more than 20 years on the pest control software market, but it remained way back on the technology.

Eese of use and navigation. It is very useful in keeping track of customers and their profile needs

Sometimes it is slow , however their tech support is helpful

**What do you like best about ServSuite® by FieldRoutes?**

You can do basic pest control reports on it.

**What do you dislike about ServSuite® by FieldRoutes?**

Everything I've written is my own personal opinion. 

I've now looked at four software choices for pest controllers. I've used three extensively. ServSuite is the software that has the most problems both with the software and customer services. 

Updates are released with bugs. 
As a UK pest controller Servsuite has trouble replicating the problems experienced in the UK. 

The software has less features than the others. 

If you are using the barcoding system it is not user friendly. If you want to report mouse activity you have to press buttons 7 times over 2 different screens. All the competitors have much better ways of doing this. 
We asked for them to change this and they never did. We now don't use Servsuite. 

The bait plan software requires you to actually draw it on the phone. 
Competitors do this much better with photos of fire plans and drag/drop bait points. 

If you're barcoding the software runs your phone flat. This is probably because of the multiple screens and button presses to report basic things. 

If you have made recommendations they sometimes don't appear on the following report. Then it might appear on the next report. It took a long time for Servsuite to even acknowledge it as a problem. The problem was still not fixed when we stopped using it. 

Turning up to a job and the software saying you had four number 1 monitors to check, four number 2 monitors to check. Apparently this was just our company? The problem was never fixed. 

In the 1.5 years I used the software nothing we asked to be improved was. There was one time when they fixed the software. That  was the day an update was released that stopped us completing jobs. 

If you're a UK pest Control company, there's a really good software available from a company is WSM.

Don't use.

Competitors have better software.

I honestly can't say there's things i LIKE about it. It gets the job done.

**What do you dislike about ServSuite® by FieldRoutes?**

Alot. I use this in the field. And the office staff from their side of it really don't have a search function for key words or unit numbers. Program will get stuck at times and ill have to exit out. Can't run multiple jobs at once.

Its just basic scheduling software. It needs an updated UI that is less jumbled.

scheduler is nice, linking of documents.

emails are constant issue, updates cause problems with no warning, customer service has taken a backseat since company has grown

They have a huge array of options to choose from for each company's needs. For the most part, the support they offer is pretty good.

**What do you dislike about ServSuite® by FieldRoutes?**

I do wish they had more on-site training availability for when tweaks or programing changes are made to their basic screens,  but for the most part there are are a lot of tutorials available as well as telephone support

**What problems is ServSuite® by FieldRoutes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am seeing that many new options are becoming available that we may find beneficial to tap into for our sales area. Their hours of available support are awesome!

Servsuite has helped us cut processing time for Admins in half of not more.    We have real time access and a lot less paperwork to sort through

We have a few glitches with the guys in the field and their iPads but the program is great

Less things for techs to keep up with,  reduced paper use and more time for other projects.

How quick it posts our work orders and how detailed everything is

There is some lagging when posting work orders but that’s about it

When managing “labor” on a work order, I am unable to find the person I am looking for. I usually have to call an admin trainer to adjust the work order for me to post.

i like that it’s mostly easy to navigate, having buttons that are easy to click

i dislike its “hiding” of certain features: like trying to find different sections of settings. i greatly dislike its severe battery use.

we use this app in pest control to scan barcodes related to certain equipment we use to verify that we’ve “checked” it.

I liked that it was able to transmit information easily from the salesman to the technicians. We were able to communicate smoothly using ServSuite and it made the day go very well.

Every now and then it would take a very long time to load the necessary information.

**Recommendations to others considering ServSuite® by FieldRoutes:**

Go for it!

Every now and then ServSuite would need to be rebooted to refresh the app, but had the benefit of passing on information without calling the salesman every time they had a sale.

**What do you like best about ServSuite® by FieldRoutes?**

The mobile app while not perfect has allowed us to cut down on paper waste which is always nice. It also allows the field technicians to get real time updates regarding changes to their daily schedule. It should be noted, however, that the mobile app does not function very well if you are out of 4G or Wifi range. 

Also, there is a very minor learning curve with Servsuite. It is not difficult for a new user to become familiar enough with the software for basic/non administrative use. 

**What do you dislike about ServSuite® by FieldRoutes?**

The reports are terribly inconsistent- if you run two different reports based on the same criteria (ex: Technician Production in a given date range), the two reports will almost certainly yeild different results. Also, many reports do not have appropriate sorting options (like sort by last name, sort by sale date, etc.). The scheduler is also prone to lags and freezes. 

The mobile app while promising also has some flaws related to data sync. There have been instances where we have been unable to complete mobile work orders because they do not show up in the mobile management studio despite having been completed by the technician via the mobile app.  

Lastly, there are times where we run into an issue and are told it is a programming problem. Once we hear "programming", we instantly become doubtful of said issue ever getting resolved. 

**Recommendations to others considering ServSuite® by FieldRoutes:**

I would look into PestPac as a more seemless alternative to Servsuite. 

**What problems is ServSuite® by FieldRoutes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Servsuite makes it easy to schedule and do so in an efficient manner. The routing module is especially helpful for scheduling.

Good software, takes some getting used to but overall it works well.

**What do you dislike about ServSuite® by FieldRoutes?**

Support isn't always as quick to respond or resolve issues as we would like. Also there is some limitation to the data availability and some hoops to jump through in order to get business intelligence developers the information they need to provide analysis and reporting of different key performance indicators.

**Recommendations to others considering ServSuite® by FieldRoutes:**

Look into PestRoutes as well. We're considering switching to them now after over 5 years of using ServSuite. ServSuite is great, but PestRoutes is likely to be better, so if they can offer you a comparable price, I'd probably go that route. Switching for us at this point would be a pain in the arse, but we may need to do that anyway, depending on how these next 6-12 months go for us.

We've been able to grow our pest control from the ground up using this software. We now have over 50,000 regular customers.

  ### 14. Some Bugs, But Easy Interface

**What do you like best about ServSuite® by FieldRoutes?**

It's pretty easy to learn and navigate, generally very user-friendly. You can pick it up quickly and everything is labeled clearly. The customer service was also very prompt in helping me with a question. I prefer the old search to the new search though. 

**What do you dislike about ServSuite® by FieldRoutes?**

The bugs. There are ghost appointments that show up, the scheduler freezes and has to be reloaded at least twice a day (usually more), and the server often gets bogged down and slows to excruciating slowness. 

**What problems is ServSuite® by FieldRoutes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We generally use it to make appointments and keep service records. I haven't been here long enough to have used the old software as the main system, but I know there are definite improvements over the old system with ServSuite

ServSuite is very user-friendly and offers a ton of options within the software itself. For example, we use an independent mapping software, but ServSuite offers a mapping software within as well which we will be switching to in the future.

There's really nothing bad to say about the program.

**Recommendations to others considering ServSuite® by FieldRoutes:**

ServSuite makes it extremely easy to manage all aspects of customer accounts within one place. Our management team goes to ServSuite University each year, and always comes back telling the rest of us how we use such a small portion of what ServSuite is actually capable of, which is interesting, because I feel like we use it for so much of our work already. It's a great program to consider if you are wanting a one-stop shop software option.

ServSuite makes scheduling, routing, billing, and managing accounts easier. It's nice having all of the needs met within one place.

The scheduling window.
Easy to see multiple service techs. 
Easy to move appointments 

**What do you dislike about ServSuite® by FieldRoutes?**

1.Many cracks that allow for user error.
If your not extremely careful you will lose info which in turn is lost revenue.
2. To many steps when entering jobs.
3. CRM is useless
4. No intergration with sales force or other CRM's. Trying to get an API
5. Reporting seldom works,
6. Constant problems when updates occur.
You would figure they would let you know in advance, but usually we find out after the update and then the problems we have.
7. Barcoding is a joke. 
8. Terrified to move to the mobile, can't afford the problems that would most likely occur.
9. Overall it looks like a product from the 90's 
Not very user friendly

You can essentially customize it to fit your needs. We have scaled it considerably with different locations, different service plans and thousands of customers.

**What do you dislike about ServSuite® by FieldRoutes?**

The mobile app has never operated properly and often fails altogether. The online software generally works but there are quirks and bugs that pop up consistently.

It's great for online use but needs a lot of work for mobile use in the field.

We use ServSuite as the general hub for our entire business that serves literally thousands of customers . There are dozens of helpful reports you can run. We can access customer information very quickly which is useful when people call in with questions about billing and scheduling.

Overall, we are most satisfied with ServSuite's flexibility and capacity to scale as we grow.
