**What do you like best about ServiceTrade?**

I like the ease of correcting errors and updating billing and appointment setting with ServiceTrade. It's extremely valuable to us because our guys in the field find it very easy to use and can understand quickly how to process. This ease doesn't interfere with their talent and tasks at hand, making it a crucial tool in our operations.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTrade?**

The reporting aspect when it comes to AR isn't great. They should have an accounting dashboard.

ServiceTrade takes care of all our jobs and billing to clients, making error corrections and updates easy, which helps our field team work efficiently without interference.

**What do you like best about ServiceTrade?**

I love the ability to use the application in a way that best suits your company. Service Trade is a company that wears many hats, anywhere from mechanical to the fire and security industry and more. Each company uses service trade in a way that benefits their needs and clientele. It's adaptability and the companies want to always improve makes it a great application for for our company.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTrade?**

The downsides of service trade we've ran into is changes we were not made aware of or the integration of device magic into service trade. That seems to be where our company struggles the most is with forms. The rest is user error and not really Service Trades fault.

It is solving a multitude of things for us giving us the ability to continue to grow with it. Service trade best helps us by managing customers and technicians

The history/info on a specific asset at a location can be easily documented for all technicians to see and utilize while on site.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTrade?**

One big downside to ServiceTrade is the integration of building reports to ServiceTrade. The useless data that comes with it and each deficient device being a seperate deficiency.

The recent changes rolled out with the extended views to the dashboard and scheduler is going to be a game changer for scheduling out a few weeks ahead of time.

Its very simple to use and the tech support is fast at responding to any questions I have had.

There isn't much I dislike about it. It's very effective for what my company uses it for. The cost could come down a bit but other than that it's great.

**What do you like best about ServiceTrade?**

ServiceTrade has been excellent for our company and growing our service departments across the country. We run the entire service lifecycle through ServiceTrade from when a job is created until an invoice is sent to the customer. We also have custom integrations with our accounting software. ServiceTrade is always open to feedback and working on adding beneficial features for customers.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTrade?**

There is currently no built-in reporting for managers. It would be nice to have a spot managers of divisions could go in and see information such as revenue, margins, etc. ( I do think this is something they have discussed working on though).

**What problems is ServiceTrade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ServiceTrade eliminated all our paper files and brought us into the digital world. It drastically increased record keeping, communication with customers and techs, getting invoices to customers and scheduling.

**What do you like best about ServiceTrade?**

Service Trade has provided our company with a powerful set of tools. The way that we can keep histories in the hands of the technicians and bill on-site really help us to streamline and be a better service company.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTrade?**

Sometimes Service Trade can be buggy as they continue to improve and expand the way it works. We find that somethings that used to work may not work exactly right after an update. The good news is that they are very receptive to listing to issues and finding the errors and correcting them.

**What problems is ServiceTrade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ServiceTrade has made it much easier for the office to keep track of and schedule jobs. From routine services to emergency calls, it is straightforward to enter work, schedule and get a technician on site. The technicians like that they can have a history and detailed job notes when they arrive at a call.

ST is a program with enormous customization and utilization opportunities. The messaging to customers is very user friendly and provides a comprehensive experience.

ST is such an open platform that there is a lack of best practices and requires purchasing additional support to customize things to your company. There is a constant roll out of new features that require you to constantly update your own practices, which is time consuming and costly.

ST provides us with a centralized customer database for all our employees from field techs to dispatch to project management to accounting to view customer records.

The staff at service trade not only has outstanding communication with each other but the response to answer my questions are always so prompt and very helpful. They are always listening to our requests and needs and following through on them.

The program has been a game changer for us. So happy with this decision.

The only thing that I could think that I like least is when we first started it , there was no training on setting it up and using it besides a certification course that was not very helpful.

They are working on service forms for the reports for our inspections.

We need service forms to create multiple reports and being able to have techs edit reports after submitting them.

Service Trade makes everything so streamlined from quoting a job, to scheduling, sending a summary to customer and closing out a job with invoicing.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTrade?**

There isn't much to dislike about Service Trade as it has helped my business immensely in the last five years. There are occasional bugs but they seem to get fixed within a reasonable amount of time and customer service seems to always be on top of our needs.

The biggest issue I had was scheduling and with their map based location pins, scheduling becomes so much easier to be able to lay out a day of work for my techs.

Trying to merge all of what we do into one program. So we can use service trade to its full benefits for us.

So many issues with dispatching. This program should not be case sensitive.

Other than getting paperwork quicker UNLESS there is an issues, which is daily. So far this has been more of a headache then it's been worth.

How easy it is to track our service departments and make sure all our jobs have been completed and invoiced.

Unable to communicate easily inside the app. Would like to be able to message people and they would receive an alert.

They have streamlined our service departments company-wide. It is now much easier to track our jobs from start to finish. It has made scheduling easier and allowed us to have a lot more insight in our day to day business.

**What do you like best about ServiceTrade?**

We love Service Trade for its ability to schedule, track and quote. Our technicians like the software for its simplicity and the fact they do not have to navigate multiple apps.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTrade?**

We do not like that the tags are not a historical event. Most pages within Service Trade track events such as job setup/completion, comments and quotes sent/viewed/approved. Would love to see tags become a historical event.

Like many companies, we used to work off from hand written work orders that needed to be picked up from the shop daily. With Service Trade, we can build their schedule remotely and give them instant access.

White screen when refreshing jobs. No way to change a tech who leaves the company to the new tech without system changing all the history to new techs name. Need scanning ability so we can scan extinguishers and get reports and forcast

Scheduling platform needs some tweaks.  Quotes have to be tweaked manually to add recurring servicelines on locations after the fact (after approval)

I have seen that there are some scheduling upgrades - my team is using the scheduler but also entering into google calendar

**What do you like best about ServiceTrade?**

What I like best about ServiceTrade is that I can easily view the Daily Schedule, Overdue Jobs without Appointments, Jobs without Appointments Due in Next 2 Weeks, Past Jobs to be Marked Complete, and Completed Jobs to be Invoiced: All from my service dashboard! It makes viewing all of my daily tasks very manageable. ServiceTrade also enables you to pull in and create any report. In ServiceTrade, I use the invoice tab the most, and it is effortless to pull up any invoice and even view invoices from a set period.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTrade?**

I do not dislike much in ServiceTrade. I would only wish to be more advanced in the comment option. I want one to write a comment on the customer level without it transferring over to the location level. Other than that, there are no complaints.

**Recommendations to others considering ServiceTrade:**

I recommend ServiceTrade for all fire safety corporations who are looking for a very user-friendly and manageable platform to view all of the jobs and invoices.

**What problems is ServiceTrade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems I solve in ServiceTrade are invoicing issues. I can create invoices in ServiceTrade in ways that QuickBooks would not allow me to. The benefits I have realized are more detailed invoices as ServiceTrade will enable me to transfer Job Type, Job Services, Technician, and Technician comments onto the invoice.

Its platform is quite simple and easy to use, the fact that it is very useful to maximize the way in which attention is channeled to my clients is something of great help to improve the services and internal processes of my company in terms of Customer service is concerned, the fact that it allows me to schedule work meetings in a simple and practical way is of great help to maintain a better order about the control of my daily activities concerning meetings with my clients to talk about the development of projects in a very simple way.

My biggest complaint is the fact that in the event that I cannot attend a meeting and must be rescheduled, it is practically impossible to do this without completely changing the entire work schedule.

It has been being a great help to improve in a much simpler and practical way the way in which I can manage the management of my meetings, budgets and activities in a simpler and simpler way by allowing me to have a greater control in terms of management and administration are concerned.

Mobile app / web view is a convoluted disaster and their support team gets very agitated if you criticize their product.

Service Trade helped me realize that I should always demand a free trial of the software. If they stand by their product they should have no problem giving you one.

**What do you like best about ServiceTrade?**

Service Trade understands the needs of service contractors today. Many of us (contractors) are simply not plugged in to the highly valuable technology platforms that we desperately need to compete in the service industry. They have assembled a software platform that is easy to use, easy to learn and yet, provides AMAZING tools that most service companies and contractors could never conceptualize, let alone build, implement and support. They are accessible and interested in my success as a contractor.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTrade?**

There is not much I do not like about Service Trade. If I were talking to a friend about Service Trade, I would say that some of my employees faced a bit of a leaning curve to get through. One cannot simply sign up and never work again. They offer live human U.S. based training (a deal sealer for me), training videos, a trouble ticket system, on screen walk through and a growing knowledge center. Like any cutting edge technology, it is exciting to learn, and WELL worth the effort.

**Recommendations to others considering ServiceTrade:**

Definitely consider these guys as an option for your service company. The truly understand our needs and have created a beautiful platform that they are always improving on! The system is OPEN API which means that you can manipulate your data using outside programs. Unless your company is running 100% smoothly on an automated software platform, I suggest you give these guys a shot.

**What problems is ServiceTrade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company went from a literal shoe box full of index cards to Service Trade. It was such an abrupt jump in technology our heads were left spinning. There are so many benefits to using Service Trade that it is difficult to lay them all out. The best way to describe it this. If our company were a car, we went from square wheels to round wheels. Everything just runs smoother and almost all our information is accessible from anywhere.

When evaluating this software, be sure an read their companion book The Digital Wrap. Service Trade is not just a software, it is a re-conceptualization of how contractors do business in the world. There is a philosophy that goes along with elevating your position in the truck/technician based service marketplace. The evasive reality of the situation is that by employing the Service Trade philosophy and technology, not only does business get much easier to do, but your customers are better served and happier. Both your and your customers lives get easier, happier and more enriched.

Service Trade is a great platform for organizing and upgrading and branding your service-based company.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTrade?**

As a side effect of the robust nature of the software, there is a learning curve involved in mastering the software. Fortunately, training is offered.

**Recommendations to others considering ServiceTrade:**

If you still run on paper and excel spreadsheets to stay organized, it is time to switch. Consider this company as a great alternative to whatever you are doing now. I think they are great!

I am better able to track my customer's data and needs. I now make more sales per customer than previously due to the trackability of individual jobs.

**What do you like best about ServiceTrade?**

The service and software are perfect for our company and it keeps everyone on schedule.  I like that the techs can look ahead for the week and see where they are working and what jobs they are doing.  Also, I can keep up with where they are located and how they are doing time wise.   If I need to add another job while the tech is in the field, I can.  I can update my customers by calling a customer to  inform them that the tech will be early or late to the appointment because I can see where they are located and how long they have been on the job.  I don't know how we survived without Service Trade!!  They saved us!! Thank you!!


**What do you dislike about ServiceTrade?**

I only have one complaint about the software and that is when I need to reschedule a job from one week to the other, I can't do it without going in the job and making the change.  I would love to be able to move the jobs in the scheduling area where you just click and drag the job to the next day!  I've asked Service Trade about this idea...I'm sure they will have it at some point!

It is great for our company and gives me the opportunity to glance at a schedule to see what is going on for the day or the week.

I am solving the problems of scheduling jobs for on time appointments.  It was a nightmare before Service Trade.  Now, I can schedule jobs and the techs love it.  They each have iPads with the Service Trade app on them and we communicate all day instead of waiting for them to return to the office at the end of the day!

**What do you like best about ServiceTrade?**

It genuinely is stunning that an organization will stand up and be there for you when you need help. The ServiceTrade staff are so tolerant and solid each time anybody inside our organization needs assistance. I genuinely don't imagine that is the best piece of ServiceTrade's client administration, I state it is the manner in which they tune in to the requirements of their client and advance with their customer's needs. They really tune in and give us the additional devices to improve our business much more. Much obliged to you ST! 

**What do you dislike about ServiceTrade?**

The way that there is no "autosave" highlight. On the off chance that we are a site with cutoff administration when we go starting with one page then onto the next and it loses association our specialists must retype the whole report.

This application/program is incredible for planning our professionals however more significantly, we can pull information about each work request that we were not ready to get from our past stage. I really enjoy the kindness of the customer service that ServiceTrade is providing. It really helps me to solve few personal problem.

There are lags and glitches once a while. and rescheduling is kind of difficult

The biggest benefits would be that the program is really easy and simple to use. I used an older one and I have no ran into no challenges so far.

I like how quickly we can send completed jobs to customers, as well as update work order notes.

I dislike that there are constant glitches and bugs. They also advertised features that silk don’t work after over a year of implementation.

Our company has crews spread out all over the country.  ServiceTrade helps us stay organized and communicate with our employees.  The customer service is great and very responsive!

Sometimes we run into things that were previously available in ServiceTrade, but now we can't do anymore.  There are workarounds but sometimes they involve additional programs or extra time on our part.

Organization and communication have improved greatly since implementing ServiceTrade.  It has reduced the amount of time we spend talking about doing work and increased the amount of time actually doing work.

 It truly is amazing that a company will stand up and be there for you when you need assistance. The ServiceTrade staff are so patient and reliable every time anyone within our company needs help. I honestly don't think that is the best part of ServiceTrade's customer service, I say it is the way they listen to the needs of their customer and evolve with their client's needs. They actually listen and provide us with the added tools to improve our business even more. Thank you ST!

**What do you dislike about ServiceTrade?**

The fact that there is no "autosave" feature.  If we are a site with limit service when we go from one page to the next and it loses connection our technicians must retype the entire report.

**Recommendations to others considering ServiceTrade:**

This company actually listens to what their clients are looking for.  They evolve with their customer base.  Not all industries have the same needs but ST will actually listen to your requests and make the changes that are needed.  This means that this platform will grow with your business.

This app/program is great for scheduling our technicians but more importantly, we are able to pull data about each work order that we were not able to get from our previous platform.  This data is allowing us to see how to improve our market presence within the various regions of the country that we are in.

**What do you like best about ServiceTrade?**

With ServiceTrade our operation is completely paperless and cloud based now. This allows for real-time updates from the field which has greatly improved our customer service. The software is intuitive and helps everyone stay organized. The ability to save pictures and paperwork and then share that with customers in professional looking HTML emails which are preformatted is fantastic. Software will allow integration with QuickBooks, Intacct, and other accounting systems so that invoices don't have to be entered twice.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTrade?**

Some pages don't always load instantaneously which can slow the work down compared to a local server based solution. The ability to sort and filter lists of data like customers, locations, and jobs could be better designed.

**Recommendations to others considering ServiceTrade:**

ServiceTrade probably won't do everything you might expect but what it does it does well and they are constantly updated the features every 2-4 weeks. They are responsive to support questions and feature requests.

**What problems is ServiceTrade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Now that we are cloud based we have been able to hire remote service managers who operate in other parts of the state. Getting them set up was just a matter of giving them logins for accessing through their browser. This allows us to expand quickly and affordably.

**What do you like best about ServiceTrade?**

I have had many fiddly requests and the support team has been accommodating and friendly. I like the way it allows us to schedule jobs and see who is where. I love the ability for the technicians to add notes, before and after photos, etc. I like that it allows them to clock in and out on site and shows location. It's very useful to have the calendar view and the ability to pair the software with other technologies (wufoo forms, websites, etc.) through zapier.

Pretty good communication between servicetrade and quickbooks online simplifies things for us as well.


**What do you dislike about ServiceTrade?**

I'd like further customizations and ability to pair with Weebly instead of WordPress (further customizations are on their way).  Support folks are good about getting back to us and being honest about what customizations they can and cannot deliver.

**Recommendations to others considering ServiceTrade:**

Sign up for their added services - like briefings (they call them "Bearded Briefings" so you can see what's new and get additional tips that make your job easier.

**What problems is ServiceTrade solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ServiceTrade helps us provide value to our clients - busy property managers.  They get photos, updates, and a lot of insight into what we're doing on sight without the need to travel out to watch or hand-hold.  We report to them so they can report to their Boards of Directors.  This added transparency builds trust- they know we do what we say we will because they have proof in hand, but we've made it a lot easier for them to get that proof.

Not very happy with the fact Adobe PDF suite isn't compatible with service trade. Only xodo pdf editor is compatible, and even that won't upload files to service trade anymore.

I wish it had more integrations however, this comment is quickly becoming obsolete since they listen and take action for their customers.

The ease of use and cool features that ServiceTrade give you. The quoting features/tracking has really helped us stay on top of our quotes

The lack of features without wifi. Technicians aren't able to do some basic stuff on their tablets/phone when their internet connection is poor. Trouble clocking into jobs sometimes.

Organization is a big thing. It's easy to see exactly what's going on with jobs instead of having to play phone tag with technicians. Also the quoting software has been a big hit with our customers

There are some simple coding issues (spelling, redundancies, etc.) but nothing worth mentioning more than that. They exist, but there's not even enough of a concern to call them out individually.
