We have decided to keep App Engine on a developer level and not letting Citizen Devs in, but it has made developer tasks easier in a lot of ways. We have been able to promote the ServiceNow platform internally on another level and being able to deliver a simple app within just a few weeks really shows how easy it is to replace admin tasks that are very time consuming and employee resource straining. It is also a great training ground for junior developers to start learning key concepts in app developement without getting stuck on troubleshooting code etc. My favourite feature is the App Home view, where i get a clear view of what the app contains, what logic it is based on and what experiences are connected. **What do you dislike about ServiceNow App Engine?** In our case we hade trouble finding documentation supporting the implementation of App Engine. Since we were in between support partners we had to do the implementation in our sub-prod on our own with a junior in house developer. The AI functionality have not been able to capture my description in an advanced way. It is till a bit surface level and i need to re-write a lot of prompts. **What problems is ServiceNow App Engine solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have has an issue where the business does not always see the work we do in ServiceNow. A lot of our development focus has been on background and maintenance stuff. Since App Engine we have focused on delivering fast on smaller business needs. We have started 3 minor App Developments replacing administrative tasks handled unsecurely in Excel which has been a huge win and it has helped us breach through the hesitant spectators of our ServiceNow Instance.
