  ### 1. Easy All-in-One Platform with Great Customization, Helpful Support, and Fair Pricing

**What do you like best about Service Fusion?**

Its an all in one platform, from making work orders, sending SMS messages, to generating and sending invoices. Its very easy to use not only for the back office, but also for the customers that would prefer to submit work orders via an online portal. Support was very helpful in answering all our questions and getting us set up. The amount of customization that can be done across the platform was amazing, we really liked being able to have different presets for the invoice format. This was specially helpful since some customers have certain preferences in regards to how the invoice info is laid out. Pricing was also very satisfactory and a main reason why we used the platform in the first place.

**What do you dislike about Service Fusion?**

In terms of performance, as time went by and our job count grew we found that performance dropped when saving work orders or doing a general global search. Also, support isnt 24/7 which means if theres issues during after hrs it most likely will not be handled until the next day.

**What problems is Service Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its an all in one platform that allowed us to streamline the process from the first moment we get the work order to the moment we  send the invoice/get paid for the work done.

**What do you like best about Service Fusion?**

A lot of the automated features, communication with customers, and customization.

**What do you dislike about Service Fusion?**

Not integrated with ServicePower or ServiceBench.  Lack of development or updates for 5+ years that we last used it.  We switched software because of the lack of investment and upgrades to the platform and the slow load times.

**What problems is Service Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a primary FMS or field service management system, so it was our main company system that we used for customer information, work orders, inventory/parts, invoices, etc.

**What do you like best about Service Fusion?**

The customization, being able to edit invoice templates to our liking and save multiple templates was great. Also one of the best features was the customer portal where customers could log in to view the status of their jobs, review invoices and submit work order requests.

**What do you dislike about Service Fusion?**

We operate in 3 different time zones, and unfortunately we had to open 3 separate Service Fusion accounts, one for each time zone, which turned out to be a hassle having to switch between each account depending on where the customer requesting service was from. It also got to the point where we had so many work orders in the system that doing searches to try and find a job or invoice was taking too long. It got to a point where we had to move on from Service Fusion for that reason.

**What problems is Service Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the key benefits was having a portal where customers could log in and review past invoices, with our previous software we had to manually send each invoice when requested. With Service Fusion if any customer wanted to review the total number of invoices they had submitted that was a possibility and it saved our team time.

**What do you like best about Service Fusion?**

Simple to use for simple things.  
Easy to load information for customer.  
Easy to create transactions, schedule, move schedule around between tech's and reporting.  
One affordable price for all access as most companies charge per user price.
Help desk is very responsive
Credit card field integration into software

**What do you dislike about Service Fusion?**

1. Inventory management is almost unusable to keep any trackable large database of inventory in real time.  Loading daily inventory in/out is manual and tedious.
2. Unable to track and verify if emails are sent and transmitted and/or received by customers.  If the file is too big and it does not go through, no way to know that unless customer calls to complain.
3. System goes down or has issue often almost once a month.
4. Not very retail friendly, cannot apply automatic discounts, sales increases, etc to categories or all products as new items are added to inventory.  You have to constantly go in and update items to recognize discounts and sales.  With plumbing and HVAC there are literally hundreds of thousands of parts and we have to update discounts, sales and pricing every day.
5. I cannot add large quantities of items/inventory at once.  It can only be added one item at a time.
6. No longer after implementation have a rep to reach out to or contact.  They will not call or check up after you are on boarded.  Use the Help Desk only.
7. Suggestions for improvement seldom implemented.  Needs many other users to find the same problem on a blog and agree to generate buzz to make them implement change.  Seems more political or squeaky wheel based rather than logic based or competitor matching.
8. Notes often drop out with the slightest dip in cellular coverage.  Notes entered should be retained in memory until signal is strong enough to upload.

**What do you like best about Service Fusion?**

We never had the chance to implement it due to lack of setup

**What do you dislike about Service Fusion?**

After three months, the software was still not set up and the data migration that had been promised was not delivered.  We reached out repeatedly to have our concerns addressed, everything from "Why is it that clients with multiple properties aren't showing more than one" to "Where is the job history?"  We were told at the three month mark that data migration of history was not possible, though it states right on their website that it is part of what they do.  

At one point, our onboarding specialist asked me to do the bulk of the data migration to which I firmly said no - that's what we were paying them for.  In the meantime we're still running our day to day operations on our old software and paying for two platforms, one of which was supposed to be up and running within a week - not three months.  

When we were told they couldn't do the job history migration, that was it.  I canceled immediately but they'd just charged our card for an additional three months.  I asked for a refund, was told two weeks later that there's a no refund policy built into the docusign (fine print)  which nobody had ever told us.  So I send all the documentation I had to my credit card company for a chargeback, why would I pay for three months of service for something we cancelled?  The bank agreed, issued the chargeback and a month later I still have not received a refund.  But you know what I did receive?  A collections notice.  So they don't issue a refund but they send us to collections?  They're lucky I didn't go after the full amount for the six months of service.

It's not solving any problems, it's creating more problems - or at least its customer service department is.

**What do you like best about Service Fusion?**

Service Fusion makes dipatching and tracking our team real easy. It also allows us to make proposals in the field. We use Service Fusion multiple times a day and our technicians couldn't be happier. All the information they need is available to them. We've cancelled the subscription to our Time Clock as its all built into Service Fusion.

**What do you dislike about Service Fusion?**

Service Fusion sync's from Service Fusion to our Quickbooks, It would be nice if there could be a (2) way sync. The full amount of features aren't mobile friendly and you need to use a desktop for many of the admin functions.

**What problems is Service Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Service Fusion helps us let our technicians where to go, who to contact when they get onsite and what to expect when they arrive. It helps the field communicate pictures of site conditions and it allows us to bill time and material correctly.

**What do you like best about Service Fusion?**

I was impressed with Service Fusion from day one. I interviewed multiple companies my final decision was Service Fusion due to its awesome employees never making me feel stupid since I am a boomer. The setup is simple and I pretty much programmed the whole system myself with much ease and help from their staff. But Service Fusion integrates everything OMG. Call Center, Inventory, dispatch grid, invoicing, customer CRM database, ease of use, onboarding, and continual education and support from Service Fusion. Cost-effective as well. We use it every day for our business. It's super easy to add technicians and customer care call representatives. The AI calling and texting is amazing 85% of our dispatch jobs come from texting. As a business owner, it gives you a dashboard with amazing informative information that makes my job easy without a bunch of spreadsheets. Every day they have been adding more features that help out a business owner with great insight into your business.  I highly recommend Service Fusion.

**What do you dislike about Service Fusion?**

When our call system goes down or there is a glitch and we lose our text from customers waiting for a response.

**What problems is Service Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Receiving payments, able to text customers, manage our technicians, staff commissions, payroll, pictures for jobs, recorded conversations from our staff and customers.

**What do you like best about Service Fusion?**

The feature set is great overall.  Has many of the modern features that people come to expect.

**What do you dislike about Service Fusion?**

There are many items like inventory and the report system that are included but are very unrefined.  Overall the report system needs to be more flexible in its abilities and data that can be added to reports.  Items like line numbering and DENSE report outputs similar to and excel sheet for things like equipment are essential for us and not a possibility on the current version of SF.  Importing of data is a bit clunky!!  We are still clearing issues that showed up after the data import.

**What problems is Service Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication to our clientele has definetly improved.  I would LOVE to see the ability to be able to have SF phone numbers be trunked to other systems and / or integration into systems like TEAMS so groups can see voicemails and texts.  Good system overall but refinements are needed.

I have to use this all day, and the way its laid out is easy to underatnd, and if anything goes wrong theres always someone to call and theyll fix it quickly!

The only thing i dont like about service fusion is that it opens a new window each time I veiw a job. I use this all day and i will have 50 tabs open before I know it.

**What do you like best about Service Fusion?**

Service  fusion is not only a powerful field service management software, but also good for invoicing and payments, customer management.
The field staff just love the intuitive user interface as it is so easy to navigate without having to spend our time learning the software.
The work of field staff is so simplified that its all "paperless" with exceptional efficiency and automat Capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Service Fusion?**

Not very much ! The customer support team are very  supportive with quick turn around time.
Nothing that i dislike as of now

**What problems is Service Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When the foeld staff is dispatched as per the customer request, the automated notifications can be set for the same as the job progresses, They have got great mobile app that can provide all the information they need at their finger tipsI really appreciate the fact that service fusion is highly configurable. For example, if you dont want to send the notifications to your customers and want to just send the selected ones like a statuses during the process, its is configurable.
Overall, it serves all our business needs. The experience with service fushion's support has been phenomenal and they are available whenever we need, they helped us get one of the report customised and they quickly solved our problem by making the requested enhancements. 
With such quick turnaround to customers problems, i was amazed how proactive they are to customers.

**What do you like best about Service Fusion?**

Service Fusion provides overall complete structure to increase productivity. I like much about HVAC business management. It helped us a lot to streamline the scheduled part of the business. In turn it has raised the business and increase the profit in our project.

Everything in Service Fusion has benefitted a lot. But one thing has not added in some part of the business. We were unable to distinguish in VIP and contract or 3rd party customers. Also in that gesture we should be able to highlight customer support and get help in that matter.

It jas benefitted a lot in GPS fleet tracking for reporting. Also in HVAC business has increase the productivity and made the business more efficient. It has made some part to be very profitable.

Service Fusion has a very intuitive user interface that allows user toe asily pick it up and the features are easily adapatbale amongst multiple formats (phone, tablet, computer).

The reporting section of the application is not ideal for our Finance and Accounting team as the reports are not user friendly and require multiple iterations of data manipulation

Service Fusion is allowing our company to get real time updates on services being performed rather than updates that were sometimes on a periodic basis when people had time to make updates. By using Service Fusion they are able to quickly and efficiently make updates to projects. This has allowed us to get real time reporting and metrics updated.

Its easy to use! The set up was even easier. They are able to integrate all your customers and their info easily. There are so many features that service fusion has. Its so personalizable to your likings. Customer support is easy to reach as well. They are very repsonsive over email as well as over the phone. We use this program for our every day operation and its has helped our company in so many ways. I recommend this program to everyone

Service fusion helps us get paid quicker and easier as well. Instead of using a 3rd party app to collect payment and taking up more time, with service fusion the technicians can take payment right in the service ticket area.

The search function.  I often have trouble finding what I'm looking for, and have to search multiple ways. Also, my technicians HATE the app. It is very cumbersome to use.

**What problems is Service Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automoated invoicing is helping us not lose out on money owed.  We have it set up to auto send invoices when we invoice out a job. I wish there was a way to opt NOT to auto send on certain jobs. Sometimes the customer does not owe yet, or I need to send the invoice from a different template, and then I end up sending them double invoices.

I like the features such as Scheduling appointments with applicants and engineers, and send reminders, Sending technicians to selected areas based on their skills and availability also it was easy to use.

If we want to upgrade the plan from our existing plan then they do not provide any adjustments additional off for existing membership price

Even if we want to upgrade our plan from low to high it doesnt take current price so not worth to upgrade if you are having any plan its better to use when we dont have any plan

It helped us achieve the operational efficiency. Over the other softwares, this one is quite easy to use. So, post onboarding it's smooth experience to work with this software. Our staff on the road requires minimal attention to take any action which is a great balance between using a software and completing the operations as well.

**What do you like best about Service Fusion?**

The week grid view is the page we stay on 90% of the day.  We can easily see the schedule for all cleaners for the whole week.  Changes, additions, and moving clients are a breeze!

**What do you dislike about Service Fusion?**

The data connection to financial software like QuickBooks is flawed, so I haven't connected them.  Other users have shared the same thing.  So is it's connection through APIs to credit card processors...

**What problems is Service Fusion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Because we can so easily see the entire week's schedule for all cleaners, scheduling a new client is easy.  We used google calendars before (with only 3-4 cleaners' schedules to manage) and it took 4 times as long to decipher where in the schedule we'd have openings.  Also, the employee side app is SO helpful to manage and track our cleaners, they use it to clock in/out, see their schedules in the future, see notes the office manager makes for the client's home.

Service fusion is easy to navigate through for the most part if you're familiar with dispatching software. Easy to set up employee/tech profiles as well as customer profiles.

**What do you dislike about Service Fusion?**

The training/integration on Service Fusions part. You have to self train by watching videos provided in the portal. This is not ideal if you are a small business and do not have a team dedicated to train your techs in the software. We would've preferred a better training option for us personally once we signed the contract. The software it's self isn't bad, it like any other software such as Field Edge, etc.

Scheduling is easy and a much needed improvement from my previous clunky software. You can easily drag and drop on the dispatch page or add service dates on the job screen. Invoicing is simple and completely customizable for your needs. So far, very happy!

**What do you dislike about Service Fusion?**

Although scheduling is a strong point, I also feel like there could be improvements for the 'multiple day' feature as well as adding additional site visits. It would be nice to select which dates the tech will be going back instead of only allowing one day at a time.

Invoicing! We started this process using Excel and have moved to Service Fusion's invoicing. Syncing with Quickbooks is easy and helped our accountant keep track of invoicing and incoming payments.

The ability to track each leg of a job to completion, including the ability to communicate with the customer. Would like to be able to delete fields that we don't use like you can in other CRM systems.

Sometimes we have a distributor, customer, and parent account, it's challenging to capture all this information, and we tend to use a location nick name to add the information needed. It would be nice if there were another field or if we had the capability to rename a field that we don't use.

The ability to add work orders and schedule techs means we don't have to have giant whiteboards with the schedule and lose the information when the week is over.

Service Fusion has been overall very helpful. One thing I'd like to recommend is to lower the prices as it is jot feasible for small startups. Auto response in support can also see some improvement is quality.

It is very user-friendly. It is also effortless to customize it to fit your company's needs. The search bar at the top has to be my favorite thing, type in whatever info you have, and it searches EVERYTHING!

The app to use on tablets and phone is very limited in what it can do. My company was hoping it would cut down on the techs calling the office so much but the things they call for (PO's, Emailing Invoices, etc) you can not do from the app.

It has cut down on the paperwork. Our techs can get them to digitally sign through the app after they enter the service performed. It frees the office up to do other things besides entering work orders.

Such great support and SO many functions. I have used other software that charges for all these services that SF includes in their package. It has excellent Dispatch features, and Customer info has many things you can add, Quickbooks Integration and Custom Templates. The customer service is also fantastic. My questions are always answered very quickly. One of the best parts of using Service Fusion is its great price. You get so much value for their straightforward pricing.

Sometimes in the field, the usability and slower download speeds of the app are hard to learn. Mobile devices' functionality could be slightly simpler as it can be harder for older techs to understand.

To start with, they don't require a long commitment to try the software, it is priced per company rather than per user.  The initial integration with QuickBooks Desktop was easy to set up.

**What do you dislike about Service Fusion?**

Where do I start?  Past the initial set up it feels like the development team does not listen to its users and it is full of half baked features that do not work.  To make matters worse, they seem to introduce more half baked features to look good on a cut sheet.  As a long term user of the platform, when we signed up, it was far better than many of its competitors, based on the sell sheet, but the improvements are very few, even ones that could be easily implemented.

Dispatching and scheduling jobs.  We have attempted to use the inventory module, but it is so half baked that it takes more work than it's worth

I wish there were a way to customize the job detail screen to match more of the info we need. I want to be able to set my default views in terms of what columns I see and how many rows to display. This should be the case on the desktop and mobile app screens.

Significant downtime and outages for this type of software.  
Very little innovation -- almost all software releases are bug fixes (that are for features that, honestly, we don't use anyway).  

Recommendations to customer support or software team go into, "ohh... you have to create a ticket to the team in order to make sure someone hears you".  really?  wtf... that's your job.  

funnel customer feedback into your own teams... i have enough sh*t to deal with.
