Use your computer as a cost-effective terminal server by sharing up to 255 serial devices simultaneously. Serial to Ethernet connectivity allows remote users in any location to access network-attached serial interfaces and devices with the same functionality afforded by local connections. Four different types of connections can be created with this utility. The interface is clean, intuitive, and well-organized, making it straightforward even for users who are not deeply technical. Setting up serial-to-ethernet connections takes only a few minutes, and the UI guides you through the process without any confusion. The tool just works — reliably and without unnecessary complexity. **What do you dislike about Serial to Ethernet Connector?** To be fair, there is not much to dislike honestly. **What problems is Serial to Ethernet Connector solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a reliable way to connect legacy serial devices to our modern network infrastructure without replacing expensive hardware. Serial to Ethernet Connector solved this perfectly. Before using this tool, integrating older RS-232/RS-485 devices into our workflows required cumbersome workarounds. Now, the process is seamless and the devices are accessible over the network as if they were directly connected. This has saved significant time and reduced infrastructure costs considerably. ### 2. The general simplicity is awesome. When used with a virtual serial port software you can do even more, combine, split or block virtual ports and this all over the network. Also the customer support is really quick, quicker than most companies I can say. **What do you dislike about Serial to Ethernet Connector?** Initially, it was a bit tricky and overwhelming but after some good old thinking and looking in the manual a few times everything became obvious and instantly worked as it shood. One thing to notice is that the device you are using this on will need an internet connection. **What problems is Serial to Ethernet Connector solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem I had and fixed was that old legacy software that makes use of serial port is not usable anymore with modern day computers that do not make use of serial ports. This software resolves this issue by making the serial port virtual and over the network. ### 3.
