I really like the set of template customization options Sendy offers. Sendy is an excellent solution when it works, which is the case most of the time. I have been using it for years with very few issues and, aside from the Amazon SES costs (which are significantly lower than those of traditional email marketing services such as Constant Contact, MailerLite, Mailchimp, etc.), it represents a very cost-effective solution. I’m sharing my experience here because I’ve submitted five separate refund requests via email but have received no response from Sendy.

Sendy's website clearly states:

“If you encounter problems, we will help you. If it doesn't work out, we'll refund you.”

Unfortunately, my repeated requests have been completely ignored. Here are the details of my transaction and the timeline of my refund requests:

Purchase Date: April 23, 10:22 PM (KST)

Amount Paid: $69

Receipt Number: #1541-8678

Refund Requests:

1st request: April 24, 7:15 PM

2nd request: April 25, 9:27 AM

3rd request: April 30, 3:03 PM

4th request: May 2, 8:42 AM

5th request (Today): [Insert Today’s Date]

I have not received any acknowledgment, any updates, or my refund. This level of customer support is unacceptable, especially from a company specializing in email communications.

This is the best cheap alternative for all the expensive email marketing softwares available in the market. Sendy only charges you one time fees of $69 and then you can easily set up it on your own server. The best part of sendy is that you can connect it with AWS and send emails at a very cheap price. Sendy also maintains contacts lists, we use sendy for all our daily emails, newsletters and marketing. Sendy is the best alternative for all expensive email marketing applications. Connecting sendy with AWS has bought my email sending cost very low. It has a very easy UI anyone can start using it from day one. We use sendy to send all our newsletters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
