I like its intuitive UI and ease of integration, agent installation, and detailed reposts, The documentation provided is more than enough to complete that task, and its friendly and amazing support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

User management is difficult to handle hence it needs improvement, I am not able to utilize a full-featured code profiler, and it's a bit more expensive than its alternatives Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We were using a competing cloud solution but found that the features in the competing solution lacked the required insight to notify our support team of issues promptly. We signed up for a free trial with Sematext and were immediately rewarded with a cleaner and more robust dashboard and accurate notification process for our environment at a price point that was also better than our current solution. To be honest, we have not found any problems with our implementation of the Sematext Synthetic solution thus far. We have been experiencing accurate alert notifications for our critical websites so we can take immediate action. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are mainly using it for debugging of aggregated logs. It does that perfectly well, filtering and searching works great.

It was easy to setup (using logagent as our forwarder).

We use alerts based on certain messages to alert our DevOps team of potential incidents.

We use a few dashboards for viewing the frequency of certain logs based on filters.

We had a little trouble with the PagerDuty integration but the Sematext support folks helped troubleshoot the problem and figured out that Pager Duty was dropping some of the alerts when similar alerts came in before the previous ones were resolved. Sematext Cloud provides the best APM characteristics to visualize our organization's architecture, its state of operation, and health status in its dashboard. Troubleshooting is done fast with the help of its user logs, metrics, and traces in a single unified view. Using Application token and API keys, we gain effective control over our log access, and each log is encrypted with TLS/SSL standards. It provides real-time anomaly detection whenever there is a drastic deviation in log counts. Archiving these logs is also effortless thanks to its seamless integration with Amazon S3. There are various E-mail and subscription types available in its E-mail Report feature from which we can define report time, frequency, and range for automated report generation. I've used similar monitoring solutions for years to monitor website uptime and performance and can say that Sematext is leaps and bounds ahead of the competition. Sematext's Synthetics offering specifically gives users the ability to create customized scripts to dig into website availability and ensure that all components are functioning as expected. Sematext support is incredibly responsive as well, typically responding same day to requests! Plenty of custom integrations to choose from as well, from Slack and MS Teams to solutions like Opsgenie as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Admin logging in the Sematext interface needs some work, but to Sematext's credit they have enhancing it on their roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
