What do you like best about Seeq?

User friendly, very capabable in working with timeserties and managing the time and events aspect. Python integration opens up endless possibilities. Easy to connect to multiple data sources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Seeq?

It can be difficult to get users to switch to new ways of working, to change from excel to something better. But thats true for all improved tools. We still have to push to incorporate better ways of working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Seeq?

It's an awesome tool for any process engineer to have in his or her toolbox. It makes my job a lot easier, and we use it to solve all sorts of problems. It's intuitive and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Seeq?

Some of the asset switching capabilities are not as good as what you can do within the pi system. If they had something that was equivalent of creating "Collections," it would be even easier to scale some analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Seeq solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use it to find process and asset health anomalies in a manufacturing environment. We use it mostly for its ad hoc analytics capabilities, and finding rapid solutions to problems as they arise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Seeq?

We had a scratch issue in our coater department and with seeq, we were able to identify the pressure deviations which caused the issue. This had significant cost as well as time saving on finding the root cause of the issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Seeq?

Seeq is able to handle time series data really well in a way that allows for no coding to be done (i.e., simply pushing buttons in the UI). Seeq employees are always there for us when we have questions. Seeq is working to improve their software and continually refine it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Seeq?

Some aspects of Seeq remain unpolished in what can and cannot be done (especially in the Organizer capability). The good news is that Seeq is always working to improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Seeq solving and how is that benefiting you?

The box entitled "For which purposes do you use Seeq?" does not show but one option. And we use Seeq for much more than just Time Series Intelligence.

Seeq is used to run our entire business and gain insights. For example, our revenue gets determined from Seeq (Accounting, Financial Reporting). Also our Operations run on many Seeq tools (operation, troubleshooting, customer communication, etc.). Also, our planning and logistics (ordering product) involves using Seeq tools.

Seeq allows us to bring in the crucial data and make use of it (and it allows a non-computer-engineer to build tools for us).

Note that our use cases tend to stretch the capability of Seeq (and this is not necessarily considered in the review). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Seeq?

Direct connection to datasource, built in tools for capsules and any other usefull functions. User friendly, easy to figure out how to build analysis. Easy to build dashboard in Organizer, interactive dashboard is very nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Seeq?

Not been able to add DCS graphs so it would be easy for each asset to see DCS graphs and make trends and analysis in SEEQ instead of using another tool to figure out what the PHD tag is. Would be helpful if the organizer is easier to build, SEEQ is much more powerfull than Excel but in Excel it is easier to add columns, comments and a lot or other nice features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Seeq solving and how is that benefiting you?

Monitoring KPI in our assets, monitoring our LP models to better understand when our models start drifting from actual operation. Analyze historical data to better understand our operation and maximize yields and generate value out of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Seeq?

The ability to go back in time and trend data from our process in order to solve issues and investigate previous events. The real time monitoring is also a very useful feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Seeq?

Some of our process tags don't work and provide us data. Also sometimes the data is missing for periods of time or the server load is very high and it takes a long time to load. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Seeq solving and how is that benefiting you?

Investigating process upsets in our plant and allowing me to provide answers to other coworkers and implement strategies to avoid these upsets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
