**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

Love love love the diversity filters! As somebody and an organization that values the importance of DEI it really adds a great touch to try and diversify our pipelines while sourcing. Also a great tool for higher level roles when you can get direct contact information from Seekout.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

The one downside to Seekout is that the profiles aren't 100% accurate. I would still go to LinkedIn after finding a profile I like on SeekOut to get a better picture of the candidate.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The team is great for helping create Power Filters that fit our organization's needs. Really helps make it a lot easier when running a search.
The contact information is also great to be able to directly reach out to a candidate's email rather than LinkedIn, not everybody uses LinkedIn on a regular basis.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

SeekOut has been a highly effective sourcing, recruiting, and candidate engagement tool.  

SeekOut’s Customer Success Team will tune (customize) “power filters” to target the most relevant companies and skills for candidate identification.  Powerfilters eliminates many redundant sourcing steps. 

SeekOut “projects” provide candidate contact information paired with messaging “campaigns” and creates continuity with the normal recruiting flow, resulting in excellent candidate engagement. 

“SeekOut Grow” is evolutionary, although designed for “Internal talent” recruiting benefits when talking with candidates about career mobility inside the company. 

SeekOut easily exports candidate profiles to most modern Enterprise ATS systems. 

I have used SeekOut since 2018, I contacted two of the industry's top Sourcing Experts, and they recommended use and SeekOut.  SeekOut is an essential tool in my toolkit. I maintain a personal license assuring that I have access to the best tool to deliver high-quality candidates for my clients quickly.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

There is a monthly limit of 500 candidate contact information (email addresses and phone numbers). Use those wisely.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Although the candidate market is shifting, the past three years have required significantly more time to identify, engage, and compete for the candidates ultimately hired.   Using the SeekOut system helped to keep pace with the recruiting demands.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

- analytics - being able to really analyze the market data when you run a search
- easy search functionality & it constantly feels like it's finding candidates that competitors don't find
- saving search strings and creating customized filters to really hone your searches even more

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

- there is a steep learning curve, and you need to really dedicate yourself to learning all of the in's & out's of the product to really get the most of it and use it to its fullest

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are a lot of recruiting tools out there, but none of them solve all the problems that you're looking to solve - ex. sourcing passive candidates, understanding the market, detailed diversity metrics, integrating with your ATS, etc.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

Easy to use, user friendly, data driven, ease of use.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Sometime the contact information is inaccurate. I'm not sure what protocols Seekout has in place to verify their data. It doesn't always help me find candidates that I couldn't otherwise find on LinkedIn depending on the role. There also doesn't seem to be a great way to filter out retail sales when trying to source for B2B sales candidates.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding candidates and engaging them. This is helpful as another tool in addition to LinkedIn or other job boards but the data is not always accurate. To date, I have not engaged a candidate through Seekout that I would not have been able to find on LInkedIn but I am still fairly new to the platform.

User-friendly! Huge database that gets updated all the time! Customer Support is hands-on.

I would like to embed a short video clip in my Inmail campaigns in the future and I've been told that they are working on it!

The diversity filters and searching Github for technical talent. I used to [try] to source via Github and was rarely successful. If you've been looking for a LinkedIn alternative, look no further. You'll get that and more with Seekout!

We discontinued LinkedIn Recruiter so I can no longer send inmails, but you have emails for most candidates so I'm not missing out on too much.

Everything recruiting! And being able to showcase insights to the hiring team is just icing on the cake.

Can find contact information - email, etc. and depending on the plan you have, they are generous with credits
LOVE their diversity filters - generally works
Message sequence capability is highly customizable
Can customize power filters which is huge for our industy

Search box and tokens can get a bit too technical if you are not a boolean builder expert

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I love the diversity, power searches and insights I can find on Seekout. I've been able to locate and contact more professionals using this platform than with any other. I find complete information and quality candidates. I can hone in my searches using the boolean string search feature and the field-based searches using the syntaxes provided. I find this platform easy to navigate and use.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

I feel like I gain a more extensive and diverse pool of people when the searches are simple. I also feel like I get a great collection of people sometimes, and I don't want to waste time doing additional searches to show my usage. I wish there were a different way to confirm that I use this tool daily and love it.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The simplicity of having check boxes to filter whom I'm looking for is critical for me. I need to be able to change up searches often and not waste any time.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I like how it syncs with LinkedIn and typically has accurate LinkedIn profiles linked to their profiles. I also like how they can have the candidates' phone numbers and email addresses.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

You still cannot view the candidates' resumes, so you're not sure what the candidates are capable of. It will direct you to their LinkedIn, Github, or other possible social media pages. The contact phone numbers and email addresses provided can be old and/or inaccurate.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides direct access to the candidate you would not receive from LinkedIn or our ATS (if the candidate has not already applied). This system allows us to cast a wider net.

SeekOut now offers the "Smart Search" capability, making searching for qualified candidates incredibly easy. To help narrow the search, utilizing the "required skills" on top of the "Smart Search" has made finding candidates quick and easy. SeekOut has helped me find incredible candidates that are also responding to me! I love the ease that SeekOut provides for sourcing.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Occasionally, some great candidates come up in my search, but neither the email nor LinkedIn page exists/works.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For the problematic requisitions, SeekOut brings ease for finding those difficult candidates that need to have specific clearances as well as certifications. With SeekOuts help, I've seen those hard-to-find candidates

Nothing comes to mind - it's been a great tool and we've actually pivoted away from LinkedIn Recruiter as our primary sourcing tool due to SeekOut

I like the ease of the tool and the results/name generation given with each search. I love that there are numerous ways to search for candidates - boolean, keywords, using their provided filters and advanced search operators! Cool features are the AI, project insights, and the ability to clone candidates!!

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

The number of candidates either do not have contact information or the contact information is incorrect. But it's great that within one click, you can report bad/incorrect information!

Having SeekOut has allowed me to be a more productive sourcer. I don't have to use as many other tools/sources/platforms, because SeekOut encompasses several of these!

I dont think there is anything that I would change or complain about at this time. Im sure that as i use it more I will be able to provide changes and ideas to developers!

The customer service has been amazing! Our success rep has helped us by maximizing our package and optimizing our reach outs to candidates. The platform is easy to use and to teach to new hires and Carrie has been flawless at teaching us tips and tricks to learn how to use Seek Out to it's fullest potential.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

So far we have not run into any significant dislikes. We would love to see is integrating Texting into campaign development so they will get automatic texts during campaigns- as well as automatic LinkedIn invites in some capacity. This would be a big lift from the platform but a huge added benefit!

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Biggest problem this is helping us solve is finding qualified candidates to reach out to and try to hire. Right now hiring is our number one priority- so this has helped us reach out to candidates!

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

The advanced boolean searches on SeekOut are helpful and an excellent way to distinguish itself from LI Recruiter's search platform.

I also like the AI matching feature, that has been one of my favorites.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

I don't like that SeekOut does not scroll back up to the top of the page when i click the next page button.

Would love to see better integration between Gem and LI on SeekOut. I'm less likely to use all the aspects on Seekout because Gem is easier to use on LI.

A good number of profiles on Seekout are outdated so I will often double check all the profiles on LI to make sure they're up to date.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

New ways to search for candidates that might not pop up on LI and getting a larger pool of people to reach out to.

Talent can be found here that might not be or missed on Linkedin. Does a great job of supplying a list of relevant links, candidate resume, email, and other helpful info (github, ect).

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Filters aren't always as accurate as you'd like them to be. (ex. I'm looking for "iOS Experience" and the filter will pull from anything with iOS listed such as academic exposure, ect)

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SeekOut helps identify talent externally, that could be missed by using a standard X-Ray search or simply using a Linkedin boolean search. This provides me with more tools to find top talent.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

The tool is intuitive and easy to use. You can easily set up projects, and the spin out multitiered drip campaigns. You can setup and collect multiple ways of accessing data about your target audience. They do a great job of scraping the social & professional media that provides insight to the candidates engagement. They can usually provide contact data.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

The data for numbers and emails is a challenge for everyone.  We know this data is pulled through a process of scraping the social and professional websites. This is an area that could improve the validity of the emails and phone numbers.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to quickly refined SeekOut's candidate matching AI algorithm which has been a tremendous help in identifying a large portion of candidates in a short period time.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

It lets you easily access prospective candidates' LinkedIn profiles, GitHub, etc. It is searching a lot of their available info to provide you with the most candidates. There are also a ton of filters that can be used to make your searches as broad or as narrow as you would like.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

The currently available filters do not make it easy to search for university talent. Nothing lets you filter out people you have already viewed on LinkedIn Recruiter. I tend to see candidates overlap and end up clicking on people I have already sourced on LinkedIn since SeekOut doesn't pull that info.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to use one tool to search across various platforms versus multiple platforms and tools individually. This saves time and allows me to source more candidates.

Contact information is often inaccurate - We need a better way to verify contact information for reaching out.

I'm able to identify many more potential candidates at all levels of organization (just not those in an LI network); especialliy helpful for rural areas where talent is less identified.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

Just a few points here:
- The interface is user-friendly and intuitive
- The search capabilities are extensive, especially when it comes to fields. I especially like combining Positions/Description and Summary in my search stringshttps
- The candidate information is pulled from a variety of sources
- I love using "Combined" functionality to narrow down my search
- People Insights presents the analytics in a nice, visual way
- I can even "clone" candidates off of the profiles that I choose!

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

- It would be nice to be able to filter on the candidates' openness to moving. LinkedIn has this functionality. I understand that the SeekOut team is working on bringing something like that to life.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- We source for very technical roles in Audit, Technical Accounting, IT Advisory and SOX compliance. SeekOut provides for a good filtering for those positions. I also like the fact that it has candidates' contact information. I often use both emails and phone information to reach out to candidates.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

There are two primary things I like about SeekOut. The first is that I like that it doesn't show you people/profiles you've already reviewed. It makes it easier when I go about my searches. The second thing I like are the filters that allow you to be more specific and catered in your search.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

I don't actually use SeekOut that much. It acts more as a LinkedIn Recruiter substitute. If I can't find people on LinkedIn recruiter than I go to SeekOut. I also think the UI isn't the most appealing.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps with offering unique filters and being an additional sourcing resource. When I hit a wall at LinkedIn Recruiter I go to SeekOut to see if there are any additional candidates I'm missing.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

Seekout is an incredibly easy-to-use search tool for sourcing the best candidates.  Powerful, intuitive filtering returns workable candidate lists the first time. Advanced filtering with the use of AI makes this tool shine.  Github-specific searches are easy to evaluate thanks to Sekout's "coder scoring."  The insights section gives valuable market info on the specific search.  Seekout makes us much more efficient in finding and reaching out to the best candidates.  Diversity filtering is fantastic.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

I can't think of anything that I dislike about the solution. The User interface could use a little work, but even that doesn't bother me because I get the results I expect, almost every time!

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time is money. Reducing our sourcing time is where Seekout has made the most significant difference for us. Not only do we save time by making searches easier, but also in the quality of the results we get from each search.   Less time sourcing and reaching out (with Seekout's email sequencing) has yielded much more time for developing clients and new business.

I really like the filters and how much you can customize a search. Our organization has relied heavily on SeekOut for DEI sourcing.

It's not as easy on the eye as LinkedIn (for example). It took me a while to get used to what I'm looking at and sometimes I feel like the results aren't accurate.

How flexible it is, all the data that I can pull out, easy to find diverse candidates, easy to target some of the most important companies, overall a great product very customisable that has made my work easy and I don't have to be permanently stuck in LinkedIn.

Not much to dislike, as mentioned previously; it is a great product. However, I also use HireEZ, and this product is very similar to yours but has a feature that you guys don't have, and sometimes I prefer to use HireEZ Because give me a chance to add in my Mandatory search skills and preferred skills. And also, more apps can be added to the product like LinkedIn GitHub, Facebook outlook, Stackoverflow etc...

Limited Credits systems and contact what we receive in some cases are not valid or not working numbers this needs to be taken care so that we can have good pool of passive guys.

I needed guys with clearance levels, in seekout based on their previous clients, it predicts.  AI is helping with the prospects., in fact this enabled me to close my roles.

The level of support, trainings, and ongoing resources are so important to us since we have a small Talent Acquisition Team here at Cube. Additionally, it was very easy to integrate into our ATS, and we can now move off of Linkedin Recruiter to save some money.

It can take some time to understand and first create your advanced searches. It isn't difficult, but the first time can be a little tricky. That said, their support team is more than willing to walk through this with you and make suggestions, as well.

We have seats for everyone on the team, so it's even easier to get hiring managers into SeekOut. We want to increase the amount of sourced candidates we hire, so having more folks in there helping will be a huge benefit to achieving this goal.

Some of the candidate updates are old and we cannot consider them to be "warm" candidates as they did not state they are interested. I would like if we could do more recent updates.

It is very user friendly. There are ton of different ways to find candidates and the "tips" are wonderful as well. As a new recruiter, I am very happy with the website and I think it has helped me a ton with finding qualified candidates.

The only think I don't love about SeekOut is that the amount of verified information is limited. I understand why not every candidate's information can be verified, but it is frustrating to email or call a candiate and it's out of service.

I like all of the options you have for Job titles, boolean searches, AI matching, and my personal favorite is "power filters". I was able to source one of our VP's from Seekout - 10/10 recommend

The emailing/farming portion of SeekOut. There has been a couple of issues I faced when a candidate would email me back, but it didn't remove them from the sequence and kept sending them messages after they had responded.

You're able to source from location, companies who have recently gone through layoffs, industry, and power filters. The seekout tool is incredibly thorough and I prefer it over Linkedin Recruiter X100.

I love the power filters. It saved me so much time by cutting out repeated tasks and allowed me to build smart searches with a combined force of booleans & filters.

I would have liked to see more filters to pull candidates from certain companies or locations from their previous jobs. It could be helpful to open candidates' profiles in the same dashboard rather than multiple LinkedIn tabs.

SeekOut has built-in boolean strings to help you find the right candidates easily. You can choose a pre-built search criteria that has the most popular skills, experience, and tools for that position or field. It is a great way to introduce boolean to new team members.

SeekOut has this great feature to find phone numbers & email addresses for those you'd like to reach out to. The issue with this feature is that the emails & phone numbers can often be outdated.
