## About Sedex
Sedex is a responsible sourcing and supply chain due diligence platform that helps organisations identify, assess, and manage ethical, social, and environmental risks across their global supply chains. Sedex is used by procurement, sustainability, compliance, and supply chain teams to collect, analyse, and share supplier data related to responsible business practices. It provides a centralised way to gain visibility across complex supply networks and supports organisations in meeting due diligence, reporting, and responsible sourcing requirements. For buying organisations, Sedex helps improve oversight and reduce risk by bringing supplier data into one platform. Teams can identify potential issues, prioritise actions, and monitor progress across regions and supplier groups. This supports more informed decision-making and better collaboration between procurement, sustainability, compliance, and operations teams. Sedex is also designed to be practical and usable for suppliers and site-level teams responsible for completing assessments, managing audits, and responding to customer requirements. The platform provides clear guidance on what information is needed and helps reduce duplication when suppliers work with multiple buyers. Suppliers can use Sedex to share information in a structured way, manage audits and corrective actions, and reduce time spent on manual reporting. This improves transparency and communication while allowing suppliers to focus more on continuous improvement. Sedex supports responsible sourcing and supply chain due diligence through capabilities such as supplier self-assessment questionnaires, audit and corrective action management, risk assessment and prioritisation tools, reporting and dashboards, and secure data sharing between buying and supplying organisations. By connecting buyers and suppliers on a shared platform, Sedex supports collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement across global supply chains, helping organisations manage risk and support responsible business practices at scale.

## Sedex Reviews
 ### 1. Essential for Human Rights Risk Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alison E. | Senior Manager, Human Rights and Deforestation, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

I love working with the Sedex team and the community more broadly. They do a really great job ensuring collaboration is part of their business model, which really resonates with me as a human rights professional. I really enjoy the tech advances that Sedex has made; it's years ahead of where it was just a little while ago, and I'm very happy to see that.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

I think there are certain findings that are really difficult to address in our own operations when we consider the regional context. The rating system sometimes doesn't capture that to its fullest extent. We could really benefit from more data, particularly from an inherent risk perspective. There's a lot of data around findings and settings, and I think Sedex could do something really intelligent with that to demonstrate the inherent risk for a country, service, or commodity combination.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sedex for monitoring human rights risks, solving legislative and commercial due diligence, and standardizing audit practices. It helps reach distant supply chain areas and meet global assessment demands efficiently.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Hello Alison,
Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback, we’re really pleased to hear that you value the Sedex team and community, and that the platform’s progress is making a difference in your work.

We also appreciate your perspective on the rating system and the need for more context around findings, especially when regional realities can make risk look different in practice. Your point about having more data to better reflect inherent risk is especially useful and we are looking into that.

It’s great to know Sedex is helping you monitor human rights risks, support due diligence, and standardise audit practices across your supply chain.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience and for being part of the Sedex community.

 ### 2. Streamlined Supplier Management with Improvement Opportunities

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chelsea C. | Senior Global Procurement Contract Representative, Oil & Energy, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

I like the support and community events provided by Sedex. I also appreciate their continuous improvement mindset. I am happy with some of the changes being made, and I appreciate that they continue to improve the search functions.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

I still find it to be challenging to link to suppliers, especially if there has been a purchase or a transition to a corporate wide account. There are times where I see multiple entries with the same physical address and I am concerned I am not selecting the correct ones. I also wish there was a way to know if a supplier was going to request a NDA to connect with them. I could then begin the process of obtaining the NDA with them to connect. It is still hard to see metrics of my suppliers at large in the dashboard and clicking through the data can be clunky.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sedex to review and manage risk without burdening suppliers with multiple requests, and to stay updated on regulations. It helps in vetting suppliers by linking to them for review, monitoring their audits, and conducting country risk and industry research.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Hello Chelsea,
Thanks for sharing this feedback. We’re glad to hear that Sedex is helping you review and manage risk without placing extra burden on suppliers, and that it supports your supplier vetting, audit monitoring, and regulatory research. We also appreciate your positive comments on our support, community events, and continuous improvement mindset. At the same time, we understand there is still room to improve the supplier linking and search experience, particularly where it would be helpful to make supplier identification easier. We also appreciate your comments on the dashboard, and we understand that making it easier to navigate and view supplier metrics at a glance would improve the experience. We’ve shared this feedback with our product team and will keep you updated on changes.
Thank you for being part of the Sedex Community!

 ### 3. Streamlined Ethical Trade Compliance with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ruth e. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

I like Sedex's ease of use from a supplier perspective and the fact that it caters to multiple customers, making it efficient for suppliers. I also find the Sedex teams incredibly helpful, especially in relation to navigating missing data and understanding and interpreting risk management data that's coming through. This means from a supplier perspective, they deliver one due diligence process and don't have to do that over multiple platforms, which is efficient. For us, Sedex provides ease of visibility in terms of the information that's broken down into key components, and we can feed that into our own internal management matrix.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

I have a real challenge with contacts data and making sure we have the right contact within a business. It's incredibly challenging to engage and onboard a suppliers.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sedex provides a global platform for due diligence, making it efficient for suppliers to use one platform across customers. It simplifies embedding and elevating ethical trade policies, offering ease of use, helpful teams for navigating data, and visibility into key components for internal processes.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Hello Ruth,
Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback, we’re really pleased to hear that Sedex is easy to use from a supplier perspective and helps streamline due diligence across multiple customers.
It’s especially great to hear that our teams have been helpful in navigating missing data and interpreting risk management information, and that the platform gives you clear visibility into key components that you can feed into your internal management matrix.
We also appreciate your point about the challenge of maintaining accurate contact data and engaging the right people within a business. Feedback like this is valuable as we continue to improve the supplier experience, we will keep you updated as we evolve our product offering.
Thanks again for your kind words and for being part of the Sedex community.

 ### 4. Clear, Improved Sedex UI—But SAQ Question Logic Can Be Tricky

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Restaurants | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

Since Sedex changed the UI, it has improved drastically. I am a big fan of the changes and the dashboarding. It provides a very clear understanding of our network and the associated risks.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

We've found it quite difficult in answering some of the SAQs, when one question unlocks another. For example, if we want to answer the 2nd part of a question, but not the first part. We are unable to do so, this is clear when exporting the SAQ in Excel but then the question doesn't appear when completing the questionnaire online.

Additionally, we find that the Sedex SAQ is the answer to some of our issues we're facing with ESG/Sustainability compliance, however Sedex could be further refined to assist in much more detail such as EUDR.

Sedex doesn't offer SSO as standard, there is an additional cost to complete SSO integrations with our business which doesn't make sense to me. SSO/2FA should be standard practice across the board for Technology systems these days. There are no other vendors that I can think of that charge for this service.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While it's been difficult to roll out Sedex (Internal problems, not a Sedex problem), it does when completed provide us with a comprehensive risk view of our network which we need for compliance against various regulations.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Thank you for the detailed feedback and the kind words on our UI improvements - we’re thrilled the dashboard is providing clearer visibility into your network and risks.
We appreciate the insight into SAQ trigger questions. They’re designed to show only when relevant, keeping the form efficient, but we recognize the logic can sometimes feel tricky, especially if a follow-up question doesn’t align perfectly with your scenario. We’d love specific examples of the trigger questions that were confusing, as that helps us refine the experience for cases like yours.
On SSO, we understand the desire for it to be standard, we’re exploring ways to make integrations more seamless and value-driven across the board!
Your point about comprehensive risk views for regulations like EUDR is spot on, and it’s great to hear Sedex is helping tackle those internal challenges.
Thanks again for helping us improve, we value reviews like yours and look forward to continuing to support your ESG goals

 ### 5. Large Supplier Network and Strong Risk Insights with SEDEX

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

SEDEX has a large supplier database, and many of our suppliers are already on the platform. Several of our customers also use SEDEX and want to link to us, as well as to our suppliers. It’s a good tool for evaluating supplier development needs based on combined risk scores and audit findings. I would also like to have an audit history view, with historical data from previous audits.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

I can’t actually use multi-tier audits. Because of this, the supply chain map isn’t clear, since it’s impossible to see which supplier is connected to which sub-supplier. Also, searching by name can be difficult if you don’t know the exact site name or the company number.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sedex enables us to view and evaluate our suppliers’ sustainability performance, and it makes it clear which suppliers and which areas need improvement. It also helps us track their continuous improvement efforts over time. The SMETA audit report and CAP provide useful input on what we should focus on during our own audits, which helps us reduce the time we spend on them. Previously, we spent much more time on supplier audits; now we can concentrate mainly on the problematic areas.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to share your Sedex experience!
We’re happy to hear how our platform delivers strong risk insights, clear SMETA audits, and comprehensive supplier data, exactly what we aim for in helping companies like yours prioritize improvements and focus ESG efforts.
Your feedback on CAPR reports and multi-supplier views is spot on, and enhanced features are coming soon to make these even more actionable. Join our Product Roadshow on April 1st to hear the latest updates directly, register in the link below :)

 ### 6. User-Friendly Platform for Sharing Data and Supply Chain Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Viv R. | Group Technical Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

It is a widely used platform that is very user friendly, enabling you to share data with suppliers and customers alike. You can run generic and specific reports which help you assess your supply chain. It demonstrates that you and your suppliers have certain values regarding ethical, social and health and safety practices

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

You are not able to see who the link request email goes to which is often asked

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us to assess our suppliers for specific elements of Ethical and Social requirements such as child labour, this enables us to demonstrate compliance to specific regional legislation

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Thank you Viv for the great feedback on how Sedex enables supply chain data sharing and ethical assessments!

We're glad the platform makes it easy to manage supplier social, health and safety requirements and share customer info. Your note about request emails is helpful - we'll review how we can make this process clearer.

Thanks for helping us improve!

 ### 7. Helpful, Knowledgeable Team and an Easy-to-Use Tool for Supply Chain Goals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah M. | Environmental and Sustainability Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

The people are very helpful and knowledgeable, it's easy to use, and will be helpful with achieving our supply chain goals.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

Nothing I don't like about them, the price is great, features and people are great too.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're going to be working more closely with Sedex soon to engage our supply chain better to reduce our Scope 3 emissions, which is going to help us a lot since that was a problem trying to figure that out on our own.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Hello Hannah,
thank you so much for your kind review. We’re glad to hear that our team has been helpful and knowledgeable, and that Sedex is easy to use and valuable for your supply chain goals. It’s great to know we can support your work to engage suppliers more closely and reduce Scope 3 emissions.

Thank you for being part of the Sedex Community!

 ### 8. Efficient Supplier Risk Management with Sedex

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dóra Z. | Sourcing Sustainability Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

I like the mass assessment feature of RADAR and how the audit findings are listed separately on the Sedex platform in an easy-to-view way, so I don't have to go through lengthy audit reports to find the important information. These features save me time. Also, the initial setup of Sedex was pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

I would like to be able to share suppliers' SAQ/audit results with customers without revealing the suppliers' identity. Either through an 'anonymous' direct link or having a reporting feature that downloads site overview with supplier ID and other specific information removed.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sedex to assess risk in our supplier base with RADAR, which was previously impossible. It allows us to request and manage more third-party audits efficiently, saving time with mass assessments and simplifying audit findings for better accessibility.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Hello Dora,
Thank you for sharing your feedback, we’re happy to hear that Sedex Risk Assessment is helping you manage supplier risk more efficiently and saving you time by bringing audit findings together in a clear, easy-to-review way.
It’s also great to know the platform was straightforward to set up and that it helps you manage third-party audits more effectively. We hear you on wanting to share supplier SAQ or audit results with customers while protecting supplier identity, that’s helpful feedback and something we’ll keep in mind.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience. We’re pleased Sedex is supporting your due diligence processes and making supplier risk management easier.

 ### 9. Comprehensive Coverage, Needs More Visibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Annabel M. | Human Rights Research Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

I like the scope of the Sedex program, which gives us good coverage over the supply chain. I also appreciate the insights it provides, which are valuable for risk identification and due diligence.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

Audit reports are not visible to us, since we are not a buyer but a certification. This limits our insights into findings of sites. Gaining more insight into this would be helpful.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sedex enables supply chain visibility and provides input for risk prioritization. Its breadth gives good coverage over the supply chain, and insights aid in risk identification and due diligence.

 ### 10. Helpful Sedex Team Support That Maximizes Membership Value

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derri E. | QMS Regulatory Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

We have only been using Sedex for a short time. However the Sedex team has been helpful in answering all our questions and supporting our activities to make sure we gain the biggest benefit from our memebership.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

I haven't had any issues so far with the platform currently.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sedex is helping us connect to our customers and our supply base to ensure there is transparency in our audits and results.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Hi Derri, thank you for the wonderful feedback.
We’re happy to hear that our team has been helpful in getting you started and that we’re supporting you in getting the most value out of your membership. We appreciate that Sedex is helping you connect with your customers and supply base to ensure transparency in your audits and results.

Thank you for being part of the Sedex Community!

 ### 11. Sedex Simplifies Audit Follow-Ups and SAQ Tracking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

I like that Sedex provides a structured way to access supplier information, audits and findings, and that it gives a transparent overview of risk areas across our supply chain. The platform makes it easier to gather the documentation we need and keep everything in one place.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

I sometimes find it challenging to follow up SAQs and see what improvements have actually happened year by year. When suppliers update their SAQ because of only a very small change, it can become misleading when "last updated" date changes. I also dislike that non‑closed findings remain open when an audit company changes. It would be helpful if the new auditor could confirm whether previous findings are still valid or closed, instead of having findings shown as ‘Open’ for several years even when later audits are compliant. In some cases, findings have even been carried over when a supplier switches back to a former audit company, which makes the overview less accurate.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sedex helps centralize supplier information, audits and findings in one system, which saves time and gives a structured and transparent overview of risk areas in the supply chain. It also solves the challenge of accessing comparable data across suppliers, making it easier to prioritise follow‑up and ensure compliance. Having all audit reports and SAQs in one place gives a clearer picture of performance and development over time, even though some functionalities could be improved.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with Sedex!

We’re happy to hear that centralising supplier information, audits, and findings in one place has made audit follow-ups and SAQ tracking easier. Your feedback on the structured, time-based overview of audit data across suppliers is especially encouraging, this is the type of value we aim to provide.

We also appreciate your constructive comments about gaining better visibility into supplier updates and changes to SAQs over time. Feedback like yours helps us understand where we can continue to improve the experience for members managing supplier compliance.

Thank you again for taking the time to leave such a detailed and thoughtful review.

 ### 12. User-Friendly Platform with Effective Risk Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David F. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

I use Sedex for combined risk computation and audit result tracking, which is really helpful. I appreciate the expertise it provides for performing risk assessments in compliance with regulation and the system it offers to gather suppliers' replies and audit results. It's a user-friendly platform, and I like the intuitive use of the platform, which makes it efficient and effective. The transition to the new platform was much easier compared to the old complicated platform.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

eSAQ needs more development. It is too complex to understand the outcome.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sedex for combined risk computation and audit result tracking. It provides expertise to perform risk assessments and a system to gather supplier replies. The platform is user-friendly and intuitive, making it efficient and effective.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review! We’re really glad to hear that Sedex is helping you with risk computation, audit result tracking and compliance management, and that the transition to the new platform felt smooth.
Your feedback on eSAQ is really valuable. We hear you - making the outcomes clearer and easier to interpret is something we’re actively working on, and comments like yours help us prioritise the right improvements.
Thanks again for being part of the Sedex community, we’re committed to keep making the platform work better for you!

 ### 13. Exceptional Service and Unmatched Quality

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phil S. | Ecommerce Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

We have been using this for a few years now and its still as good as when i first left the review

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

Now we have been using the platform more it is easier to navigate but my initial review still stands that its not very user friendly at times

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being in the sustainability market we wanted to be able to show that our product was ethical along the whole journey from field to store. We use this information to enhance a our reputation among consumers who prioritise ethical sourcing which is something that is important to our customers and investors.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Hi there, thank you for sticking with us!
It’s great to hear that Sedex remains a valuable partner for your sustainability journey after several years. We really appreciate your continued honesty regarding the platform’s navigation; we know that balancing complex features with ease of use is a priority, and your feedback as an experienced user is incredibly helpful for our ongoing development.

Thanks for being part of the Sedex Community!

 ### 14. Streamlined Reports but Needs Enhanced Risk Assessments

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emma D.

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

I like the improvements made in accessing reports faster than before, and the cleaner view that Sedex offers.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

The risk assessment (radar) pre-screen hasn't been updated since 2024, which is a major source of concern because it's critical to the due diligence process. Also, the extracted report for SMETA audits needs to be updated to ensure it pulls the most up-to-date info. It should also pull more detailed information about corrective action planning. I often have to manually check the Sedex site for individual suppliers' audit info to get a full picture of the status of a corrective action, as this info is not always pulled.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sedex for risk identification and managing human rights issues. It improves access to reports and provides a cleaner view, which I like a lot.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Thank you, Emma, for taking the time to share such detailed feedback.

We’re glad to hear that the recent improvements to how reports are accessed, and the cleaner view in the platform, are helpful in your work. At the same time, we understand your concern about the risk assessment (radar) pre‑screen not having been updated since 2024, given how important this is for due diligence.

While we don’t currently have major changes planned for this tool, our product team is exploring enhancements for 2026 to improve the risk calculation and overall user experience. Your comments will feed directly into that work.

Your point about needing to manually check the Sedex site for individual suppliers’ audit information to get a full picture of corrective actions is also very valuable. We are reviewing how we surface the most up‑to‑date audit and corrective‑action data so that this picture is clearer in one place and requires less manual checking.

Thank you again for highlighting these areas – feedback like yours is essential in helping us prioritise future improvements.

 ### 15. Valuable Reports, Easy-to-Use Platform, and Attentive Sedex Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Javiera C. | Sustainability Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

The reports cover a lor of valuable information, the platform is very easy to use, the Sedex team is attentive to any need or support.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

When we send an invitation to connect with some supplier we can't send it again even if they didn't accept it. Having this option would be great to improve the conection process

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing supplier information that is valid, traceable and registered in the same way so we can compare and find everything in one place.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Thank you, Javiera, for sharing your experience with Sedex!
We’re really pleased to hear that you find the reports valuable, the platform easy to use, and our team responsive to your needs and support requests. It’s great to know Sedex is helping you share supplier information that is valid, traceable, and registered in a consistent way so you can compare performance and find everything in one place.
We also appreciate your suggestion about being able to resend a connection invitation to suppliers who did not accept it the first time. Simplifying the link‑acceptance flow is on our radar, and we have provisionally planned enhancements to this capability for release during 2026!

Thanks again for taking the time to leave this review.

 ### 16. Sedex is a scalable tool that continues to consider member feedback to make improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

I like that Sedex takes members' feedback and try to integrate it back into the tool. I also like that they have community groups for peer to peer learning.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

I think they could improve some of the UX as well as reporting/dashboard features. It feels a bit clunky and confusing to know which reports we have to use to get the data we truly need.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to have more visibility to our supplier sites and also helps relieve some of the efforts of their teams.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Good morning!
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, it’s great to hear that you find Sedex a scalable solution and value our commitment to incorporating member feedback, as well as the peer learning opportunities within our community groups.
We also really appreciate your honest comments on the user experience and reporting. Making it easier to navigate reports and access the data you need is an area we’re actively working to improve, and feedback like yours plays an important role in shaping those enhancements.
It’s great to hear that Sedex is helping provide better visibility across your supplier sites and reduce the burden on your teams, that’s exactly what we aim to achieve.
Thanks again for your thoughtful review and for being part of the Sedex community.

 ### 17. Standardized Compliance with Easy Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicolas Alejandro G.

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

I like that Sedex is widely used around the world, making it more reliable for monitoring the compliance of human rights of our suppliers. I find the process to audit suppliers very standardized, which helps in identifying non-conformities and getting them resolved efficiently. The non-conformities reporting and overall management are very straightforward and easy to use. Additionally, setting up Sedex was very easy for our team.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

Sometimes their audit methodology is not applied equally by all audit houses, and there are sometimes changes introduced in the platform with little consideration of the operational effects the changes may cause.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sedex standardizes the process to audit suppliers, identify non-conformities, and resolve them.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Thank you for sharing your Sedex experience!

We're glad to hear that the Sedex platform makes managing human rights compliance with suppliers easier! We particularly appreciate your feedback on the straightforward non-compliance reporting, transparent supplier status, and how audit standards are clearly identified, these features are exactly designed to help teams resolve issues efficiently.

We also highly value your thoughts on platform updates and ensuring operational impact is considered when changes are introduced. This helps us continue refining the experience to better support your compliance workflows.

Thank you again for taking the time to leave this review.

 ### 18. User-Friendly Platform with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

I like Sedex's user-friendly platform, especially its intuitive interface. The support is great and the data it provides is really useful, allowing us to make good decisions for our responsible sourcing program. Plus, the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

N/A

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 19. Industry Standard, but Limited Scope

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex S.

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

I like the fact that it's widely adopted by the industry, so most of our suppliers are already reporting on it to other customers. And that it's a membership organization, so we're able to influence and affect the standard.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

I can only really use Sedex for our direct tier on the supply chain, and I'm not able to understand, assess risk, or gather data from upstream suppliers. This would particularly help us in agriculture and at the farm level.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sedex for assessing our high-risk suppliers on their social and environmental performance against our supplier code of conduct, helping us manage our supply chain better.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Thank you, Alex, for sharing your experience with Sedex!

It’s great to hear that you value Sedex being widely adopted in the industry and that the membership model helps you and your suppliers influence and shape the standard together. We also really appreciate your honest feedback about only being able to use Sedex effectively for your direct tier, and the challenges this creates in understanding, assessing risk, and gathering data from upstream suppliers – especially in agriculture and at farm level.

Expanding visibility beyond the first tier is a key focus area for us in this very moment. As part of our roadmap, we’re rolling out new Supply Chain Depth features that will enable members to represent and analyse lower‑tier suppliers in their supply chains, with the goal of ultimately enhancing risk management further upstream.

Thank you again for taking the time to leave this review and for helping us improve.

 ### 20. Excellent Supplier Visibility Without Chasing Documents

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

Supplier visibility - I can get access to things like SAQ and audit results without having to chase my suppliers

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

Previously, it was lack of support from our account managers but that is getting better. I can't think of anything at the moment that I dislike

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were struggling to get SAQ and SMETA information from our suppliers, so we upgraded to AB membership. Now I'm not having to chase suppliers for documents or visibility. We can now risk assess our suppliers from an ethical stand point too.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Hello,
We’re happy that the platform gives you seamless access to SAQ and audit results, eliminating manual follow-ups, and with your recent membership upgrades, even more Sedex data is now at your fingertips. .
We truly appreciate your shout-out to our account managers - feedback like this motivates the whole team.

 ### 21. Nuance in Global Settings

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claudia S. | Senior Sustainability Specialist , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

The compilation of data onto one platform

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

The lack of nuance for places outside the EU

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not sure yet as I have not been using it for long enough

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Hi Claudia, thank you for your feedback. We’re glad that having your data compiled in one place is already proving useful. We also really appreciate your honest feedback regarding the need for more regional nuance outside of the EU. This is extremely helpful for our product team as we work to expand our platform’s capabilities to better support our global member base, and I will share your comments directly with them.

Thank you again!

 ### 22. Openness, Transparency, and a Great Team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea C. | Group Quality, Corporate Affairs & sustainability director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

Openness and transparency stand out. There’s a great team out there.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

There’s no certificate, the expectations are unclear, and there’s no visibility unless you’re on the premium plan.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love it how they are trying to build a platform that suits all and allows full supply chain mapping

 ### 23. Helpful Dashboard and Reports for Clear Supply Chain Visibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

The dashboard and report downloads are helpful, and they make it easier for me to keep a clear grasp of our supply chain.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

Sometimes there are glitches. For example, you can see that a supplier has SMETA in one place, but in another section it doesn’t show up. It’s also not integrated with our ERP.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hmm, I guess most of the questions we get from customers are about our origins and what happens downstream in the supply chain, traceability and things like that.

 ### 24. Visibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valerie G. | Head of ESG & Sustainability Alcotra, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

the visibility via SAQ on your supply chain

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

that suppliers may have a score even not having answering the SAQ at 100%

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sedex is not solving problems on my supply chain for the time being, it gives memore insight

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Hello Valerie,
Thank you for your feedback, it’s great to hear that Sedex gives you greater visibility across your supply chain through SAQ data.
Your point about some suppliers still receiving a score even when the SAQ is not fully completed is helpful, and we understand how important it is for scoring to reflect the level of completion accurately.
Even when Sedex is not yet solving a specific challenge in your supply chain, it’s useful to know that it is still providing insight and helping you monitor things more closely.
Thanks again for sharing your perspective and for being part of the Sedex Community.

 ### 25. User-Friendly Audits in One Place, but Risk Assessment Outputs Need Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

I like how all audits are organised in one place and you can access site audits easily and analyse findings. the SAQ is easier to use. overall it is user friendly

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

the outputs aren't great for risk assessments i think more could be done in terms of risk assessing factories. I think there needs to be more interactive features on the pre- assessment section. Its unfortunate that radar disappeared

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing smeta audits for our factories

 ### 26. Responsive Support, But the Supplier Site Is Hard to Navigate

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

Responsiveness of communication with questions and concerns

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

The platform is a bit difficult to use on the supplier site platform, a lot of pages aren’t connected so you have to click around a lot

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps connect suppliers to customers through one platform to help encourage use of one audit instead of many

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Hello,
Thank you for sharing your feedback, we’re glad to hear our team has been responsive and helpful when questions or concerns come up.

We also appreciate your note about the supplier site being difficult to navigate and that some pages feel disconnected. That’s useful input, and we understand how important it is to make the supplier experience as smooth and intuitive as possible.

It’s great to know tho Sedex is helping you connect suppliers and customers through our Sedex platform and encouraging a more efficient audit approach.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience and for being part of the Sedex Community.

 ### 27. Easy SMETA Linking for Faster Supplier Social Compliance Evaluation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick W. | Compliance Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

Have a portal can link the SMETA report of all our suppliers(factories) to our Sedex accounts for easy evaluation of their social compliance status.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

I have no comment at this moment. Everything is fine for me.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is mainly on linking up all our factories' account to our Sedex account, therefore, it is very convenient to view their SMETA reports and their social compliance status.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Hello Patrick,
Thank you for the feedback on SMETA linking and supplier social compliance evaluation!
It’s excellent to hear Sedex makes it easy to access SMETA reports and assess factory compliance status directly through your account. Fast, clear compliance visibility is exactly what we’re aiming for.
Thanks for helping more organisations achieve social compliance at speed and for being part of the Sedex Community!

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David S. | Internship, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

Very good insights and comprehensive audit process

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

Platform has too many options. Audit has become too detailed covering too many issues

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making more user friendly the platform, integrating AI

 ### 29. Intuitive UI/UX That Makes Social Audits Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

It’s an easy-to-use platform with an intuitive interface and a very good UI/UX. Everything you need for a social audit is in one place, with all the required information clearly available.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

The limitation on account visibility with previous info when a supplier is not paying the membership fee.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides easily access with verified information about supplier compliance with social and ethical standards.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erik-Jan S. | CSR Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

The support of Sedex has really helped us to drive the social dialogue and collaboration with our suppliers.
Their platform is very easy to use. The SMETA audits are of the highest standard.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

The costs of a membership for our suppliers, and completing the self questionnaire on a annual base is a obstacle for the suppliers to join the program.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From the start, joining their program has increased the visibility on important social and environmental risks in our supply chain.
Often resulting in more awareness and a positive change.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Thank you Erik for sharing your Sedex experience!

We're happy to hear how Sedex has driven greater awareness and positive change around social and environmental risks in your supply chain. Your feedback on SMETA as the highest standard and how it enables social dialogue and collaboration with suppliers perfectly captures our mission.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

 ### 32. SMETA Audits Simplify Risk Assessment, but Tier 2–3 Supply Chain Mapping Is Limited

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph N. | ESG Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

SMETA Audits simplify supplier risk assessment

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

Supply chain mapping is not possible as you can not see your suppliers suppliers i.e. tier 2, 3 suppliers not visible. The option to share supplier is not realistic where there is non compliance.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increasing visibility in supplier sites and activities through detailed Audits.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Hello Joseph,
Thank you for your feedback, we’re glad to hear that SMETA audits are helping simplify supplier risk assessment and improve visibility into supplier sites and activities.
We also understand the frustration around not being able to see suppliers’ suppliers today. That’s exactly the kind of challenge our new Supply Chain Depth capability is designed to address, helping members build greater visibility beyond direct relationships over time, please talk to your AM to know more about it.
Thanks again for sharing your perspective, it’s valuable input as we continue improving the platform and expanding supply chain visibility.

 ### 33. Helpful Insights for Audits and SAQ

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

Helpful insights into compliance status, audits, and the SAQ. Helpful and informative webinars and customer support.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

I would like to see a clear level of criticality in the Smeta reports, such as “minor,” “major,” or “business critical.” I would also like the CAPR reports to show whether an item is marked as “collaborative action required” or “rejected,” along with the reason why.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need a way to access audits for growers and suppliers who don’t share them with our company.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your Sedex experience!

We're glad to hear that you find our SMETA audits clear and the webinars / customer support helpful – that's exactly what we strive for in helping growers and suppliers demonstrate their ethical practices. Your point about CAPR reports is well taken, and we're actively working to make these even more accessible and actionable for users like you.

We truly appreciate you taking the time to leave this review.

 ### 34. Honest Transparency with Easy Access to Audit Reports

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

Honest transparency with access to Audit Reports

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

I dislike that if you have an audit conducted, and there are a number of issues identified, that you can get Audited by a different auditor and your score may increase which may make the previous Audit irrelevat. I would prefer if you insist that the same auditor is used.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to read real data on our suppliers which gives us so much insight via audits.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Hello,
Thank you for sharing this feedback. We’re glad to hear the audit reports and transparency are valuable to you, and that the data available through audits is helping provide useful insight into your suppliers. Regarding auditor selection, this is generally decided by the buyer from their approved list of audit firms, and Sedex is not able to intervene in that process. We do, however, support the SMETA methodology used by auditors and work with a network of 50+ approved audit firms.
We are happy to hear that Sedex supports you in your due diligence processes, thank you for being part of the Sedex Community!

 ### 35. Improved Supplier Assessments, but Supplier Search Needs Country/City Filters

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Sedex?**

The platform has improved over the last year, making it easier to look quickly at suppliers self assessments once they are linked.

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

The supplier search function. What would make it easier is to be able to search by Country or City and all suppliers.

**What problems is Sedex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the moment we are increasing the number of suppliers on the platform, once this is completed we are look at the risk areas and start mitigating those risks. At the moment we do not have a balanced view.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**

> Hello,
We’re glad to hear you’ve noticed the improvements over the last year, and we appreciate you highlighting the progress made so far. We also understand how additional filters such as country and city could make supplier identification easier when linking suppliers, and we’ve shared this with our product team. We’ll keep you updated if anything changes.

Customer service

**What do you dislike about Sedex?**

Collect ethical labor information from our supply chain that is shared with our customers.

**Official Response from Letizia La Sorte:**
