What do you like best about Security Journey?

Interactive workshops are useful and engaging - when they work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Security Journey?

Poorly worded and confusing questions in "assessment" sections

Extremely buggy UI - it felt like we were beta testers. Many individuals in our org had trouble progressing through the course due to basic UI bugs, e.g. the "finish" button on modules not working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Security Journey?

I like that the content allows me to watch the video as well as test my understanding at the same time. I appreciate the conversational feel of the interaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Security Journey?

I do not like that I am required to do it by my organization. It makes me sometimes feel like it is a chore (when i usually really enjoy learning and expanding my knowledge) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Security Journey?

The training is short, to the point and most of all, interactive. This allows for high engineer engagement and a sense of achievement for successfully completing the training. Additionally, it provides assurance which can be relayed throughout the organisation and towards partners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Security Journey?

Nothing. HackEDU are working on further developing their SecOps training path which we are keen to see. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Security Journey?

HackEDU breaks training up into short digestible trainings with practical examples. It is a far cry from horrible experiences with big corporate required trainings from my past.

In addition to the trainings themselves providing benefit, they've created a new focus for our team and have generated many discussions around our software base. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Security Journey?

Nothing really so far. The only question I have is how valuable the system will be after the first year of training. I'm looking forward to seeing how HackEDU can support continuing training and provide coverage of recent security breaches. I know they have some materials along those lines already. Hope to see more in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Security Journey?

The teams like the variety of the courses and the way they are laid out. The content is well paced and the additional challenges make it feel like real world situations. Im pleased to see that OWASP top 10 APi has been introduced as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Security Journey?

So far, i've had no negative feedback on the course at all. The only observation is that some of the teams have spent longer getting through the learning that we may have expected. However this can also highlight to me areas that need focus for individuals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Security Journey?

Content and training. Administration work is also super intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Security Journey?

HackEDU only offers training. There are other tools out there that are a one-stop-shop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Amy Baker of Security Journey

Thanks so much for this review. In addition to high quality training that changes developer behavior we also pride ourselves on making it easier for Learingin Administrators to run a training program. We have heard from other customers that when they used other training products that were "thrown in" with other tools they did not receive the same value. At HackEDU we believe in being a best-in-class secure coding training provider only. We feel strongly that this focus is what provides such strong results.
