To me, Security Journey stands apart firstly by the quality of the videos: The production quality, the quality of the conversations (how eloquent the interviews are), and how clear and accessible the content is.
Secondly, the tests are effective and just challenging enough for any prior level of knowledge.
This is a service to use as part of weekly or monthly activities, to fully get the benefit of learning, as part of a journey to know and do better in your role.
The interface is also very neat, professional and straightforward. It's an easy-to-use platform, which makes visiting the site enjoyable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The lessons and tests that I have gone through as part of Security Journey itself are not hands-on, as opposed to practical exercices. And because of this, they require serious attention to retain the information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The quizzes that comes after each tutorial videos, I found it really beneficial for me to rate my understanding on that particular topic. The UI for the tutorial is also seemed helpful and user friendly as it gives me the ability to watch the video while scroll over the transcripts and do some note takings. The notification email that I received sometimes are not aligned with the courses that I am allowed to take. For example, I'd received a notification that I'm preparing for Green Belt course, but when I checked my SecurityJourney account, I still didn't get the GB course. Same thing is happening now with Brown Belt. I received the notification email but still hasnt got the access to do the course. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SJ is always making updates to improve the platform for learners and admin. Adding learners to the platform is easy. My Customer Success Manager and I talk on a weekly basis about assignments, suggested training, new feature requests, etc. I use the chat feature in the SJ platform regularly as well to connect with SJ support on issues. SJ works fast to resolve issues/errors identified in the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The reporting and training paths areas of the admin platform need work. I know SJ has these things in their backlog and they have been very receptive to my specific feedback on what I like/dislike and enhancements I would like to see. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The course is set up so you can learn bit by bit. The coding exercise is interesting enough to keep the users stay engaged. The game-like appearance of the course is very motivating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In a few cases, the instructions provided in the course don’t align with what’s in the code sandbox. This is a minor drawback for the user experience but I am still able to navigate through the sandbox. It would be better if the course is more maintained. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The security journey is the design for individual groups like developers, DevOps and database teams. it has three different belts, which are the white belt, yellow belt, and green belt, which describe lower to higher training get difficult and deep knowledge sharing. it is designed like a game theme on different maps. which adds little charm. for assessment, if you are not able to score 80% as candidate needs to take a re-test and again all question sets are different. which are little wasting of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The support team is prompt in solving any concerns. I find the integration capabilities to be beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There seems to be a focus on coding challenges as well. Not mandatory, having integration with existing systems allows for customization and adaptability based on organizational needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The training content is thorough and easily understandable. The inclusion of problems makes the learning process enjoyable. My experience, with the Security Journey has been positive and valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The training provides an understanding of cybersecurity attacks and hands-on experience. There is a lack of variety in coding techniques and awareness of security flaws. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Poorly worded and confusing questions in "assessment" sections
Extremely buggy UI - it felt like we were beta testers. Many individuals in our org had trouble progressing through the course due to basic UI bugs, e.g. the "finish" button on modules not working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
