## Secureworks Taegis MDR Reviews
  ### 1. Advanced Threat Detection with Expert 24/7 Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Khushwant V. | IT Security Apprentice, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

I like its combination of advanced threat detection and expert-driven response. The platform provides 24/7 monitoring with real-time alerts and actionable insights, backed by Secureworks’ security analysts. This ensures faster incident resolution and reduces the burden on internal teams, making it a reliable managed detection and response solution.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

The platform can feel complex for new users, especially when navigating advanced features and dashboards. Initial setup and tuning require time and expertise to optimize alerts and reduce noise. Additionally, integration with certain third-party tools could be more seamless.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It addresses the challenge of detecting and responding to advanced threats across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments. With 24/7 monitoring, automated threat detection, and expert-led investigations, it reduces alert fatigue and accelerates incident response. This improves our security posture, minimizes risk exposure, and frees internal teams to focus on strategic tasks.

  ### 2. Comprehensive, Scalable MDR with Strong Threat Intelligence Backing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akshat G. | Cybersecurity Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

Taegis MDR stands out for its powerful combination of advanced threat detection, seamless integration, and expert-driven response. It leverages Secureworks' deep threat intelligence (CTU) to rapidly identify and contextualize threats across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments. I especially appreciate its user-friendly interface, which enables effective triage and investigation, and the collaborative response model, allowing my team to co-manage incidents with Secureworks analysts. Additionally, the customizable detection rules and flexible API integrations make it easy to tailor the platform to our environment and workflows.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

While Taegis MDR offers robust detection and response capabilities, there are a few areas for improvement. Alert noise can occasionally be high, requiring manual tuning to reduce false positives. The initial setup and data source integration can be somewhat complex, especially in hybrid environments. Additionally, while the UI is generally intuitive, some advanced search and investigation features could benefit from better documentation or in-app guidance. Finally, reporting customization options are limited compared to other platforms, which may be a concern for teams needing detailed executive or compliance reports.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Secureworks Taegis MDR is helping us address key challenges in threat detection, investigation, and response across complex environments. It consolidates telemetry from endpoints, networks, and cloud sources, enabling centralized visibility and faster incident triage. By leveraging Secureworks' threat intelligence and expert analyst support, we’re able to identify and respond to advanced threats much faster than with in-house resources alone. This has significantly reduced our mean time to detect (MTTD) and mean time to respond (MTTR). The co-managed model also allows our team to stay hands-on while benefiting from 24/7 monitoring and expertise, freeing up internal resources for strategic initiatives without compromising security posture.

  ### 3. Comprehensive and Responsive MDR Solution with Excellent Threat Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erick Vincent Steve G. | IT Support I, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

What stands out the most is the robust threat detection and responsive capabilities. It provides rich telemetry and ontext across all endpoints, network, and cloud environments. The user interface is clean and intuitive, which helps reduce alert fatigue by prioritizing real threats. I also appreciate thhe collaboration with analysts through the platform.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

While the platform is powerful, the initial learning experience curve can be steep due to the depth of features and configuration options.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Secureworks Taegis MDR helps us address the challenge of rapidly detecting and responding to advanced threats across a hybrid environment.

  ### 4. ManagedXDR that really works!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noel D. | Senior Manager - IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

Amazing how this platform cuts down the noise/the false positives and focuses on valid and actionable insights. Zooming in on actual alerts, vulnerabilities and detecting real risks is incredibly simple in this platform

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

Sometimes support followup can be difficult due to the the underlying complexity of the system. Normally it all simply works like magic but at times a complex support call regarding the underyling tech can be difficult to solve.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Consolidation of all system into one consolidated platform logs regardless of the technology used.
2. Correlation and integlligence across all systems, endpoints, users etc regardless of geographic location, platform etc.
3. Incredible analysis & insignts both AI and Human driven. This keeps noise + false positives to the minimum and delivers actual intelligence about real risks + issues. An example of the speed an effeciency of the platform is that Taegis consistently detects issues prior to even the service provider detecting them - if there is a disturbance on the internet connection, Taegis will detect this instantly vs the ISP getting back to us 30 mins to an hour later.
4. Threat hunting across the length and breath of our global network. Our entire network is tested monthly for the latest threats and any indicators of compromise

**Official Response from April West:**

> Noel, thanks for your thoughtful review. In a world of complex threats, we strive for simplicity. We appreciate you sharing your experience!

  ### 5. Outstanding Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

Quick response times and a willingness to assist with your ongoing issue in a timely manner.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

Sometimes during off hours their could be a delayed response but I have noticed that I have seen Great improvement during these times.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consistent daily support of automated alerts reviewed by the SOC. being able to quickly and efficiaently go thru alerts on a daily basis and be able to provide Ad Hoc Investigations when needed to be abloe to escalate any issues is very valuable to my organization. We have a Great relationship and Rapoire with our Account and Technical Representatives. I look forward to a continued successful as we continue to move forward with different SecureWorks products.

**Official Response from Michele Stephano:**

> Thank you very much for taking the time to offer your experience!

  ### 6. Great MXDR Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

The MXDR offering from Secureworks has really helped us as a business to be agile whilst having the peace of mind that the network is secure. The tool set allows us to integrate with other vendors like Microsoft and isolate clients automatically when needed. What really makes it valuable for us is the managed component, the SoC provided is excellent, and means that we don't need to maintain that expensive resource in house. The customer support delivered by the tAM and Threat Hunting teams is also really valuable to our business. The Taegis interface has been developed over the years and is now really usable, even for reletively non-technical staff.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

My only minor concern is that new integrations can take some time to be implemented, this is only a problem if you are using a tool that isn't mainstream or doesn't already have an integration. Perhaps isn't as feature rich in regards to tooling as others, but what is delivered works perfectly. Think of it as an iPhone compared to an Android, some, non-important features aren't present, but it just works all of the time.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WE didn't want to implement an internal SoC, there is no way that we would be able to match or maintain the skillset of the SecureWorks SoC, or have the industry wide overview that they have.

**Official Response from Michele Stephano:**

> Thank you very much for taking the time to offer your experience!

  ### 7. Great Product - Simple Setup, Great Support, Endless Improvements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

Implementing Taegis ManagedXDR in our environment created a sense of comfort in knowing we have more eyes on our environment. The implementation was quite straight-forward and the ongoing support from the CSMs, product support, and security analysts have always been on-point. They're constantly building out and improving the platform; I'm always seeing new features, integrations, etc.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

I do wish that the Advanced Search was "dumbed down" a bit so that it was easier to use by an average user, but they do provide plenty of examples and documentation to get you where you need to go.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Log aggregation, log analysis, security alerting. We do not have in-house expertise that would otherwise be able to interpret some of the logs that trigger alerts. It's incredibly helpful to have Taegis review the issues beforehand, summarize the issue, and provide suggestions on actions to take.

**Official Response from April West:**

> Wow, thanks for this review! We aim to serve (and keep serving)! 😎

  ### 8. Once you know its present, you don't have to think about it.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

Ease of integration, seamless workflow with other existing solutions.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

Its hard to mention anything solid, this is a solution that just works.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Incident response and prevention.

  ### 9. Secureworks is my go-to for comprehensive visibility!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cesar P. | IT Operations Technician, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

I use the Taegis dashboard daily and find it extremely easy to use and manage. SOC is always responsive and helpful. We've added our Microsoft 365 and Azure to the Taegis dashboard to gain insight into what is happening in our environments, which is essential to our organization. The monthly threat-hunting exercises in our environment are an excellent add-on bonus to using the Taegis platform. We also look forward to our monthly check-in calls with our Customer Success Manager, Greg Ottenger, who keeps us updated on the latest threats and gives us a deep dive into our tenant.

Overall, Secureworks provides exceptional service, and we are delighted that Secureworks has our backs!

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

We use Cisco Umbrella, but we operate within the Azure cloud, not AWS. Therefore, Secureworks's integration, which is designed for AWS, is not compatible with our environment. I have requested the integration to be developed for Azure, but progress with the Secureworks development teams has been limited. Please prioritize adding this integration for Azure.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Secureworks assists CIGA by monitoring our environment constantly, every hour of every day throughout the year. This level of vigilance would be impossible without a dedicated partner like Secureworks.

**Official Response from April West:**

> Cesar, thank you for the thorough review! Happy to have your back. I'll be sure to include your feedback re: Azure Cloud to the product team to see if we can usher that request along.

  ### 10. Promising product, needs maturing

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William C. | Manager, Security Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

SecureWorks Support/Live Chat agents are knowledgeable and always helpful.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

Product feels incomplete. Dashboards are lightweight, not dynamic. Integrations with other products could be expanded upon. I product does ingest and display events/alerts well enough but requires a bit of a learning curve to figure out how to find an event/alert.

Taegis XDR Agent incompatibility with ephemeral VM's (whether that be a technical/licensing issue) has prevented our move off of Red Cloak.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taegis XDR helps our team find events that we can action on, prior to a full blown production outage. Integrations with ServiceNow, Teams and PagerDuty have been proven critical in this regard.

**Official Response from April West:**

> Hi William, thanks for the constructive review. Dashboards and reporting is a key priority for all of our customers given the nature of the expanding attack surface and executive pressure to secure everything. it's hard to understand the full value of MDR (when it's working well, it's quiet!), so this is something that occupies a lot of our product team's focus and imagination as of late. I'll funnel this up!

  ### 11. Secureworks Taegis ManagedXDR is a great service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

SecureWorks has been a partner of ours for many years. Their ManagedXDR service offering is the complete package when it comes to cybersecurity and helps us sleep better at night.
We've configured integrations to monitor our key hardware and software, and receive alerting on any anomalies to perform investigations.
They provide monthly proactive threat hunts, and quarterly health checks to ensure our environment is in good health from a cyber standpoint.
The Taegis Agent is very easy to install, consumes low resources, and monitors all of our endpoints for anomalies, and alerts us to perform an investigation.
TaegisXDR support is very fast, responsive and has always helped me resolve any issues or answer my questions with accuracy.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

I haven't experienced any downsides to the product. We are very happy with the product.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They provide an added layer of cybersecurity with the Taegis agent, log monitoring, and proactive threat hunts.

**Official Response from April West:**

> Wow! Thank you so much for taking the time for such a thorough review! Can't put a price tag on peace of mind :) Happy to have you with us for the long haul!

  ### 12. Taegis XDR is a powerful tool that enables secure operations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael D. | Manager, DevSecOps Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

The advanced query search is the best thing about Taegis. Being able to search for specific logs in the system helps tremendously during incident response. Our data is retained for 12 months and that is a huge benefit. Whenever we need help with a search query, we can use the support feature to assist.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

The integrations with other tools could be much improved. While in theory anything can be integrated, it's alot easier on paper than it is to actually implemented and integrate.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Log aggregation and alerting. We have a single pane of glass for most security events in our environment.

**Official Response from April West:**

> Michael, thanks for your gracious review. With our human-powered AI capabilities evolving, we will see an ease in integration implementation soon. Stay tuned!

  ### 13. SecureWorks' main priority is you

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daron W. | Senior Technology Operations Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

SecureWorks not only provides world-class protection and customer support, but they also keep their customers updated on new threats. This extra information is useful as lets us know what new threats are out there. Taegis ManagedXDR is easy to implement, easy to use, and it easily integrates with Office 365.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

I really can't think of any major issues with Taegis ManagedXDR. The product is wonderful.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are solving the problem having 24/7 digital surveillance on our network, so that we can be safe from cybercriminals no matter what time of day it is. The peace of mind this brings alone is invaluable.

**Official Response from April West:**

> Daron, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts! Serving up peace of mind is what we're all about!

  ### 14. Priceless service to have on your side.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

We are a small organization but we have global exposure. ManagedXDR helps our small team by providing critical analysis of data from various sources in our network to help secure us from the neverending and always present threat actors that are intent to find ways into our infrastructure. Their analysts examine any potential threats and are quick to alert us of any anomolies they detect. Their quick response allows us to react to only the most credible threats and help us be able to focus on other day to day tasks we would not be able to work on if we were focused in sifting through all that data and looking for threat actors ourselves. They do the job of what would take at least 5 full time staff members to handle on a daily basis. It's very reassuring to we know we have Secureworks as a partner in our cyber defense strategy.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

I really don't have anything negative to say about Secureworks or any of their products.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cyber Security in it's entirety. They ingest all the relevant data, analyse it and reach out promptly if something is out of the norm. This saves us manpower that as a small organization we don't have. Not to mention the expertise they provide.

**Official Response from April West:**

> Wow! We know how costly and scare quality technical security staff is to find-- glad we can do the work of 5 FTEs for you. Thank you for trusting us!

  ### 15. Helps me sleep better at night

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

We've been a long-time Secureworks customer. And Secureworks as always provided us with that 24x7 SOC that we would not have been able to have in our business. Plus trying to maintain the knowledge and expertise in-house would be a tramendious challenge. For us when we get a Secureworks alert, we know that it is serious and immediate action is taken. Implementation and integration of the Taegis XDR system was easy. Customer Support has been good. With XDR, you have immediate access to Support through Chat in the Taegis Portal; and you still have access via a phone number especially if you are working an issue.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

Searching in the portal for events takes some getting used to, especially if you don't search frequently. However, Support is willing to help perform the necessary Searches via the Chat in the Portal.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taegis XDR is providing the knowledge and expertise in this area that would be a challenge for most businesses. Taegis ManagedXDR also provides us with that 24x7 SOC that is required in today's business environment.

**Official Response from April West:**

> Thank you! We can't put a price tag on peace of mind. Appreciate you taking the time to review and thank you for being a long-time customer!

  ### 16. Exceeds expectations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Gambling & Casinos | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

Ability to collaborate with Secureworks on the alerts received.
Swift professional response from Secureworks side.
Responses are always prompt on time.
UX is easy to use.
Threat Intelligence module is robust.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

I haven't identified a point yet. If commenting is compulsory then the lag on email alerts & time gap between actual event timestamp vs. the time when the alerts are raised could be reduced. However this is just an opportunity for improvement.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Secureworks is our all-in-one incident response suite giving us all aspects of the incident management pipeline in one way or the other. Taegis ManagedXDR is specifically solving the resource strain on our end by giving us a responsive collaborative platform to detecting, containing, eradicating and responding to incidents in a thorough manner. The extensiveness of coverage that the tool allows works for our company's needs as well. We appreciate the professionalism of Secureworks personnel too - friendly, thorough, always responsive on time makes us feel Secureworks can be relied on no matter the severity of the incident.

**Official Response from April West:**

> Exceeding expectations-- we love to hear it! We like to live by the mantra: under-promise and over-deliver! 💪🏼 Appreciate the head's up about the email alert time gap; I'll get that feedback into the right hands swiftly.

  ### 17. A much needed service for a good reasonable cost.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John N. | IT Administrator / CISO, Law Practice, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

The ease of implementation and use. Reporting is very detailed and points directly to any problems that arise. If any issues do arise that are pretty serious, Tickets are automatically generated and emailed to me, also a live staff member will be assigned to review, troubleshoot and contact me right away.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

I don't really have any issues with this product at all.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IT SOC compliance

**Official Response from April West:**

> John, thanks so much for taking the time to share your review! We're happy to know that we're keeping you secure! 🛡️

  ### 18. Must needed protection for your environment

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civil Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

The company is easy to deal with, and contracts are flexible.
The security analysts do a great job investigating events and and responding. Account management is fantastic.
We are able to integrate sensors from most of our infrastructure and the recent Microsoft Teams integration for investigation handling is convinient.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

Generally positive feedback. There was some confusion on transitioning from remote IR to an emergency response team, but that has been resolved.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cyber security and IT resources are scarce and expensive. For a modeium sized organisation outsourcing Detection and Response is the most viable option

**Official Response from April West:**

> Thanks so much for making the time to share your experience! We're glad to hear we're offering the protection you require! 🛡️

  ### 30. Up and coming with plenty left in the tank

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

Although a slow start, SCWX have started to really uplift Taegis. An early adopter, we gave feedback that was passed back to the design team and allowed for further development. With further developments to come I believe that Taegis will hold well against its peers.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

Initially slow to turn around onboarding issues but this has now been resolved.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Although not placed as a SIEM Product, we're utilisting the "Single Pane of Glass" functionality.

  ### 31. Have Been Extremely Happy With Taegis

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

We found the onboarding experience to be fairly straightforward and SecureWorks helped us with a senior project manager and implementation engineer every step of the way. After onboarding, they have assigned a dedicated TAM that really knows her stuff to the account. It's really felt like a high quality service oriented approach to onboarding and maintaining the account.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

Really solid, but if I had to say anything it's that their ingestion of various data sources isn't automatically mapped into the XDR platform. Only supported data types are automapped to alerts. The other non-supported data types are available for ad hoc searches but the XDR magic isn't necessarily applied. That said, there are a lot of high value supported data types.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data Retention - One of our primary needs is to store 1 year of logs. XDR does that as an included feature. Additionally, the service itself integrates very well with Defender for Endpoint and secureworks adds a ton of value add on top of microsoft's already great offering.

  ### 32. Secureworks Service

Customer Support is very good and they are very responsive and engaged. The service provides 24/7 protection as well as CTI and Threat hunting. All of which is good. Moreover, the website is clean and they follow up with you monthly to ensure success.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

Implementation/Integration is difficult. In an enterprise, there can be many challenges to deploying the agent

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

24/7 monitoring, CTI and threat hunting. All of which is great. It is a full SOC service

  ### 33. Very Helpful Plantform and Ease to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

The first thing that stands out for Secureworks is the customer support and ease of use and has multiple benefits.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

There is nothing in particularly not to like something about Secureworks. Only thing Ill mention is about having training modules for their platform

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps in reducing the manual work and having it automated

  ### 34. very easy migration from POC to Prod; cleaner interface than other XDR/MDR dashboards

Marketing and partner program would benefit from more funding to assist with messaging because technical platform and support is excellent

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

integrating all threat vectors was key to the solution to gain single pane of glass

  ### 35. ManagedXDR is a mixture of SIEM and SOAR

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

The secureworks Taegis Managed XDR does an amazing job monitoring our environment for potentially malicious traffic and alerting us. It also weeds out false positives really well.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

The iSensors can be a bit disruptive if they go down they tend to impact the entire network. But this is a very minor inconvenience compared to the vast benefit and security that we receive.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monthly threat hunts are a very undervalued part of this offering. I have been through multiple MDR vendors and most do not include this feature. Knowing that the threat hunts are automatically done for us is a great help.

  ### 39. Excellent Services

**Reviewed by:** Goutam P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2023

The coverage of network devices and endpoint logs is good

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

No native support for Mac
No integrations available with PAM tools, WSG tools etc
No integrations available for applications such as SAP, Oracle etc

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

Customer support and the cost of the product.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One solution to manage your application logs and monitor the security events.

  ### 42. Great Product with amazing customization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hyrum C. | Cyber Security Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

Taegis is an excellent platform for getting everything done that you need to. In one portal, you can communicate with security experts, view threat feeds, check ongoing investigations, and customize all your integrations. As a security professional working out of the Taegis portal every day, I find this extremely helpful.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

As with any software, there are always little quirks and personal preferences. Because of the level at which you can customize alerts and integrations, it could be overwhelming at first, but the team over there is willing and happy to walk you through things and give you training when needed.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taegis has helped keep up on top of security issues. Both their automation and excellent team help point you in the right direction when focusing on security issues. Every time we have a question on "How could Taegis help with this?.." they always have an answer that surpasses my expectations.

  ### 43. Secureworks Managed XDR - Peace of mind!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim K. | Director of IT and Security, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

The Secureworks team really is the best. From the sales people to the implementation specialists everyone not only know what they are doing, but they are great at it. The SOC team really digs into cases, assesses the issues, and then is more than happy to help rememediate if possible. The data collectors available for Azure, M365, and onprem devices are excellent. This gives further peace of mind knowing that there is a second set of eyes watching everything at all times. The proactive monthly threat hunts are great because they look for misuse or vulnerabilities before they're a big issue.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

The portal used to be spread out, but they have made tremendous strides in this the last couple of years and I can imagine that it will only get better.

**Recommendations to others considering Secureworks Taegis MDR:**

The Secureworks training really is great and I cannot stress enough that you should take advantage of it. Everytime I have a question or need a refresher they are always there and willing to help us out.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small company with a big infrastructure foot print. Secureworks Taegis ManagedXDR really helps bridge the gap between needing more employees and staying secure. Without Taegis ManagedXDR we would need additional employees to monitor.

  ### 44. Easy to deploy, very well managed implementation and exceptional ROI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert O. | Head of Cyber Security, Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

The Taegis Managed XDR platform was very easy to deploy in a medium sized organization and provided immediate monitoring and visibility across multiple environments. The XDR analysts are extremely knowledgeable and do an excellent job reviewing more information that could be done by a team of internal personnel and only escalate items that need to be addressed. The toolset provides search visibility beyond any of the other tools that I have used. Secureworks does a good job at listening to it's customers and results can be seen in product enhancements and regular communications. Proactive threat hunting is done and queries are provided so that we can repeat the exercise. A quarterly review with an executive report really shows the value proposition. I would highly recommend Taegis to any company. The Red Cloak agent is extremely easy to deploy and maintain,

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

When we first purchased the Taegis platform, it was not clear exactly what we were getting and took some time for out team to understand how to navigate the offering - it appeared as monitoring was substandard to other traditional SOCs I have used. Once we learned how to navigate the platform, we realized that Secureworks triages everything before escalating. Once we were accustomed to the platform and had our first review. it's ROI was apparent. I do recommend taking the time to understand all aspects of the solution and use the comprehensive on-line resources. We have had some minor performance challenges with the linux version of the Red Cloak agent, but Secureworks quickly worked with us to resolve the issue.

**Recommendations to others considering Secureworks Taegis MDR:**

When looking for SOC providers, it's important to understand the amount of work that your cyber security team will need to do to support the process. If you do not understand this, you may be dealing with a large number of false positives in order to embark on a journey to tune the offering. This platform required absolutely no tuning and any alerts escalated are vetted.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Best in class managed security monitoring and response across an enterprise with a large number of disparate integrations and cloud environments without the addition of trained SOC, malware, forensic analysts.

  ### 45. Hands on user

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

Taegis XDR takes a giant load off of my plate. Anytime there is an issue, and investigation takes place. It makes a infosec guy feel a lot more comfortable knowing that we're being looked out for, even when we can't do it ourselves.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

The onboarding process needs to be revamped. The reality is that there are quite a few technical hurdles to jump (i.e., installation isn't an "out of the box" experience...putting a collector in AWS/Azure isn't as simple as pushing a button. Make sure you have in house technical resources when considering this. Also, in order to do advanced searches, you need to understand the syntax.

**Recommendations to others considering Secureworks Taegis MDR:**

Ensure you have someone with technical skills if you want to build out collectors in public cloud.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Full ingestion of MS365/Azure AD/Firewalls/AWS logs. Taegis is a central collection point and makes life easier

  ### 46. Secureworks Taegis ManagedXDR Services

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

I like that there's an experience SOC team backing up our internal team.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

The Taegis XDR platform offers a powerful search tool. Your queries can be build and saved for reuse. They are also the basis for reports. This is nice, but I would love to see a list of pre defined searches and reports.

**Recommendations to others considering Secureworks Taegis MDR:**

I would recommend running a POC and ensuring that you review the event source and API integrations in addition to just the endpoint agents. You start to realize more value from the tool when it has more visability.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We made a deliberate choice to subscribe to the Managed XDR service. The annual cost of the service was less than the cost of adding an extra body to our internal SOC team. So, rather than paying for a 40 hr a week tech, we gain 24X7 SOC coverage, remote IR, monthly threat hunting, collaboration with SOC analysts, and threat hunters and researchers with experience that we may not have in-house. Managed XDR allows my team to develop their skills beyond SOC analysts and engage with the organization more proactively.

  ### 47. New customer, enjoying the Managed XDR solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

We have reduced our time spent doing investigations by several hours a day. It is comforting knowing that SecureWorks has eyes on glass 24/7.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

I would like to be able to export the "Data source" list, but I'm sure this could be done with a quick chat with the 24/7 support line.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to see what command lines and services are associated with an alert has helped us in resolving system configuration issues that may have continued otherwise.

  ### 48. Great product that allows us to outsource security expertise to a trusted company.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

The managed security service nature of it in general. The fact that we got real-time threat detection based on continuously updated AI, the fact that we get monthly threat hunts against our environment, the fact that we get a quarterly security baseline review. All of these are amazing.

**What do you dislike about Secureworks Taegis MDR?**

Lack of a mobile app for alerts. Currently you have to login to a web portal.

**Recommendations to others considering Secureworks Taegis MDR:**

If you are considering hiring a security team to start monitoring your infrastructure, look into this. Also, make sure you get licenses to monitor all of your infrastructure in order to get the complete picture.

**What problems is Secureworks Taegis MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This allows us to have log monitoring and threat detection with having to hire a security team, purchase an event log solution (and configure).
