Top Rated Securence Alternatives
There isn't much to configure or maintain with Securence once you get it integrated into your environment. It does a good job of alerting users to blocked or quarantined emails. I particularly enjoyed its ability to cache emails if the connection to our on-prem exchange server went down. Inspecting messages at the edge in their mail log is also quite easy to do, far better than jumping through the hoops required in O365. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It seems like their filtering technology is aging pretty severely. After moving to O365 from Exchange 2010 I feels like we have a mismatched filtering solution now. I'd love to see better integration with the email clients themselves and maybe an API to help automate the control of company wide filtering rules. It really feels like a product stuck in 2010. 2 out of 3 Total Reviews for Securence
The basic functionality of an email gateway is all there, and it's relatively easy to use. The price that this solution comes in at is very reasonable, especially for it's capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI is very basic and not intuitive. When trying to learn the platform, the documentation is there for the most part; however, it's not easy to understand and friendly to newer administrators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to access, filter and read mail logs, effective spam and malware filtering and business continuity features all make Securence a great product. Many configurable options make it easy to customize. CEO Fraud Protection has been working wonders to stop phishing emails, as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The email encryption does work well but it relies on an Outlook plugin that seems to break easily. For what its worth, I've never found any Outlook plugin that does work reliably. Encrypted emails can also be sent from the web interface but this is probably too much to ask for your average corporate email user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
