This is a great password vault for on-prem use. Easy imports, granular permissions, failover configuration, and great support make this a no brainer. We had this up and running in hours with Active Directory and Duo integration.
We are an MSP with multiple teams using multiple vaults, every day. The granular permissions are great for controlling access and keeping it simple.
Why store your passwords in the cloud when Securden makes it easy to store them on-prem? Other on-prem solutions want to do priviledged access management and a bunch of other stuff and charge for it. Securden is a well built, simple on-prem password vault with great support at a great price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Online documentation is not the best, but is constantly improving. The good news is support is easy to contact and fast to reply, They also anser the phone! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We ware using Securden since late 2021 and are blessed with the great improvement they keep coming up with.
The setup was easy and also was the onboarding of our team, they use it a lot and cant imagine missing the passwort Vault.
Since the integration we only had a few difficulties and even then, the customer support also was on point and answerd very very quick.
The amount of feature is almost overwhelming, there was only one time where we missed a feature and even then, i requested is and was given the answer, that is was put on the roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing that i can think off, is the UI.
In my oppinion it is not the must modern one, but still easy to use and does the job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to set up and reliable on-prem solution with high availablility and great support. I typically get a response back in an hour. Our end users find no difficulties using the Chrome extension and the auto password fill works great. It's been very reliable for us over the years and it gets frequent updates with new features added all of the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the updates fail for no reason. I had to run the updates a few times to get it to work but it works in the end.
No TOTP automatic copy. When the Securden extension fills in a username and password, it should copy the TOTP number right away into the clip board so I don't have to manually search it and grab it manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We had concerns about cloud-based password vaults after the Lastpass issues and Securden stood out in a rather small pool of options. They were quick to help us setup our trial and installation of the software was really straightforward.
Its intuitive to add passwords and other details to the vault with easy to understand account types and categories. We use the web plug-ins which are great when a site or dialog is compatible.
Been using for over a year now with no issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having to use copy password when the plug-in isn't recognised, but this isn't too frequent. Updates could be better advertised. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Securden's password tool enables secure password protection for various accesses. You can also set up daily backups to minimize data loss in the event of a failure. It is also child's play to access the various infrastructures using Remote Desktop and automatic password entry.
In addition, the add-in in the web browsers is an enormous help in everyday life to log on to different platforms.
The support is also very fast and helpful. Many thanks for that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have not yet had any disadvantages or bad experiences with the Securden Password Vault.
For us, this solution is optimal and perfectly suited for our daily business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We can keep a central repository of all the passwords used by the department. Easy integration with AD for SSO and also has a MFA option. Reports are comprehensive and the support team has always been very helpful and responsive. This is our 4th year with the solution and we've been very happy with it. At this point I don't dislike anything from Securden. They have been improving and adding functionality over the years at a constant rate to the point their solution is super complete. Maybe the lack of mobile clients could be added as a dislike? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that the extension is easy to use and the website to manage accounts is user-friendly for the most part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes there are bugs when using the custom application launcher. Would love the option of "hiding" the secureden shield on some web pages as sometimes it gets in the way of other website drop-downs or appears when we need to take a clean screenshot and it is tedious to log out just to hide the symbol. Sometimes it takes a while for support to assist in issues and when getting in a call with support, sometimes it is hard to understand them due to the language barrier (speed and annunciation of words). They worked with us to find resolutions for our issues and assisted with implementation. We utilize this heavily and it has been a very stable product when hosted on their servers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to setup of the application launchers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Great password manager that is easy to use and easy to setup. The cost is affordable and provides great value to any team.
Setup time is quick, straightforward, and supports a wide range of integrations. Customer support is great, timely, and always happy to help.
Additions of SSH and RDP integrations were surprisingly useful and helped smooth transition for team members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It does lack some polish that you might find on other password managers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've been working with Securden since January 2023. It wasn't all smooth sailing at first; we had some hitches trying to adapt the application to our needs. However, the Securden team was there to help us, showing receptiveness to our suggestions. The application is fairly straightforward and fast for onboarding employees.
Their support team, while generally quick to respond Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
"The biggest problem I encountered during the onboarding process was integration with external apps. Additionally, I found that the documentation available online was either outdated or insufficient." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
