It effectively addressed the data security requirements, especially the data deidentification or anonymization of PII that is almost a "set once, use always" type of system. The anonymization approach eliminates the need for costly and inefficient application code changes while preserving data governance and visibility to what is happening with the data. It is relatively easy to implement given the straightforward architecture. We received support from a highly technical and capable team from SecuPi during the implementation, allowing for quick resolution of the few issues we had. After the initial training, the end users were able to take over the setup and administration of data security policies in the SecuPi Management Server (SMS) dashboard. We were able to successfully integrate with the source systems (databases and files), the target data platform (Cloudera) up to the consumption layer (Tableau / DBeaver). In addition, I believe SecuPi can play a big role in providing the guardrails to secure PII in this time of AI. **What do you dislike about SecuPi Platform?** I think better marketing materials would help spread the word about the availability of a "code-less" solution to anonymizing / securing PII **What problems is SecuPi Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** SecuPi helped anonymize PII data of our FSI customer without applying any changes to the application. It allowed the anonymization of on-premise data before being ingested to the cloud-based data platform. This complied with the FSI's requirement to protect and secure PII data before being ingested to the cloud-based data platform. Given the various ways of anonymizing data available in the SecuPi platform, it provided the flexibility to consider different solution architecture approaches. We were able to anonymize/tokenize the data from the source (e.g., databases, csv files, etc), while allowing to decrypt the data for specific users in the consumption layer (e.g., dashboards) ### 2. I am using it for a custom scenario where the customer requires data masking. It is highly valued because it helps the customer do this optimally and also integrate it with other third-party tools. Moreover SecuPi can be configured in many different ways. **What do you dislike about SecuPi Platform?** In my experience, the DAM functionality could be improved compared to the data masking feature, particularly in terms of flexibility when searching for specific traffic. **What problems is SecuPi Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** SecuPi helps customers address a specific use case in which only a designated team is allowed to view data in clear text, while all other teams are restricted to seeing only the encrypted version.
