Seascape has been a solid tool for archiving Lotus Notes databases to SharePoint and creating standalone archives. It handles complex document structures, metadata, attachments, and document links very well, while keeping the output really close to the original.
The user interface is clear and easy to work with, without any unnecessary complexity. I’ve used Seascape with well over 100 databases, ranging from small ones to tens of gigabytes and even over a million documents. Performance has been consistently good, and it handles larger databases without any surprises.
Pricing feels reasonable for the value it delivers, especially considering how much time and manual effort it saves me. Swingsoftware’s support has also been responsive and genuinely helpful whenever needed. Overall, it is a highly professional and effective solution for this purpose and I'm very satisfied with it. There can be a bit of a learning curve at the beginning but once you get familiar with the tool, these are relatively minor issues and don’t affect the overall reliability or effectiveness of the solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
