What do you dislike about RWS Tridion Sites?

Overcomplicated workflow processes. Difficulty in troubleshooting publishing, customizations, extensions. Logs can be difficult to track down and/or provide little or no relevant information. What do you like best about RWS Tridion Sites?

SDL Tridion is an ideal platform for huge enterprises that need to analyze a significant amount of data and offer it in several languages.

You can integrate the system with third-party applications, tools and services (e.g. Salesforce, Eloqua, Sharepoint, Flickr, SOLR, AWS Cloud Search, etc.). For this purpose, there is a set of APIs available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about RWS Tridion Sites?

Once you learn the system's complexity, it's got a nice feel to it, but the learning curve is quite heavy. Being a headless system, there are many many unfamiliar and awkward aspects Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RWS Tridion Sites?

There are literally so many things to dislike. First, it's very slow; it's also very complex. It's a mess, no way to preview before you publish. It's just a very bad CMS overall and I would not recommend it.. and there are reasons why there are not many developers that have experience in it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We wonder what version you’re on, since Tridion has a very modern and slick user interface these days - entirely redesigned and optimized to make content management easy. Also, the UI is very snappy; and of course Tridion has preview capabilities (like it always had).

There could be issues of course related to your implementation, and not the product itself, that cause your frustration.

1- Workflow should be made simpler in integration and lightweight in functioning.
