**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Casondra Marie B. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Now when someome askes me how to do something I send them the link or create a new set of instructions then if its asked agian i just have to tell them to look at the instruction vs telling them again.
In terms of how the process works, I like how it highlihgts the areas on the screen, and keeps track of keybord stokes ie "Control" ,"Alt", "C" so i don't have to type that in.
Also my IT person condonoes the use of it.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Some of the steps my process are redundent, and I would liek tohavea beter way of removing soem of the steps.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scriber reduces the amount of time i spend explaining , and offers a back up when the learder is not reachable.

  ### 3. Productivity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is an excellent productivity tool for those who need to create step-by-step guides, SOPs, or training documentation efficiently. Its greatest advantage is the way it effortlessly records your workflow as you go, automatically producing screenshots along with captions. This feature significantly cuts down the time required compared to documenting procedures manually.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Sometimes, it captures extra steps that aren't needed, so I find that a quick cleanup is occasionally necessary.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, creating step-by-step guides or SOPs by hand would take me hours. Now, with Scribe, my processes are documented automatically as I complete each task.

  ### 4. Scribe has been a gamechanger for company operations!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin M. | Designated Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe has been extremely beneficial in getting all our employees to operate the same way. For years, I have come up with ideas on the way I want employees to do certain operations, but the only way to do that was to take a long time taking screenshots and creating an explanation from scratch. Scribe takes all that time away because all I need to do is start the capture, perform the task, then make any quick edits to ensure it is what I want to be said, and then it is done. Most scribes take abut 15 minutes to complete. Which is much shorter than the 4-5 hours it used to take me. We will be using this for new hires as well to make sure they learn it the right way first.

I have only started using scribe about 1 month ago. But it was so easy to implement that I have already created about 15 different scribes. It has been extremely easy to integrate into our current system of work. I plan on creating at least 1 scribe per week to continue to get everything going in the right direction with our staff. I have not had a need to reach out to customer support yet, but I am confident that if I needed to, they would get back to me in a timely manner.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The only downside could be the cost for more users. I do not see much need for other employees to create scribes at this time, but if I did, it would need to be worth it to add the cost of the extra uses for the team.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is helping me explain daily tasks to employees to make sure they are getting the job done the way we want them to.

  ### 5. Scribe is such a time saver!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Crystal J. | Director of Finance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is so easy to use! We are implementing a new AP software and I have been able to quickly create how to guides for the new users. The guides are extremely easy to create and the end users have express how easy they are to follow.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I really like everything about Scribe! The only thing I wish they would offer, is an option to set up different teams within one account.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe saves so much time in creating step by step guides and eliminates then need to take individual screenshots.

  ### 6. Fast way to document workflows

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lacey H. | Quality Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The best part about Scribe is its robust ability to edit and annotate screen captures, which makes it a powerful tool for creating detailed and easy-to-understand guides, tutorials, or documentation. When you capture a screenshot or screen recording, Scribe allows you to add text annotations, arrows, shapes, and other visual elements to highlight key information. This means you can visually guide users step-by-step, making complex processes clearer and more engaging.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Scribe records every interaction you have on the screen, including unnecessary clicks, mouse movements, or moments where nothing significant is happening. For instance, if you’re navigating between windows or waiting for something to load, Scribe will capture all those “dead” moments. These irrelevant steps can make the tutorial unnecessarily long and requires more editing. I wish there was a way to pause the capture and restart.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training new employees or upskilling existing staff can be time-consuming and costly, especially when there’s no structured, easy-to-follow training material. Scribe’s ability to create visual process guides enables quicker training, reducing the time it takes for employees to get up to speed.

  ### 7. Fantastic tool for creating easy guides

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Borna . | Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

We use it to create quick guides for our software for our customers. It is effortless to use it and I am hooked. Basically, we are able to create our Knowledgebase on the go. I am using it everyday and it saved me days in the past year and a half.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I don't have anything bad to say; I enjoy using the tool.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It create efforless guides just by going through the screens while creating a title for everyone and even the option to edit the screen to capture the essence of the next step.

  ### 8. Scribe is an amazing, Easy to use, program.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Renewables & Environment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is very easy to use. It makes very clear and easy to follow instructions.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I have just started using Scribe so have not really run into any issues yet. I am still learning how to navigate in it so I am a little slow, but that is just the learning curve.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving time when typing up instructions sheets. I do not have to do ScreenShots and copy and paste them.

  ### 9. Works better than other programs I have tried

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felicia S. | Operational Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I have enjoyed how quickly I can access the documents I have created. The ability to changes information as I create the document is nice and being to pause.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish it would let me pause a recording, to continue onto another browser and pick up where I paused at or add video in the middle of another video.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating video for training and onboarding staff through Trainual

  ### 10. Knowledge sharing made simple

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is very useful and powerful tool to share knowledge between colleagues.

We use scribe to help build tech documents on system usage and how to perform routine tasks. It's so intuitive and the plugin with chrome makes it really seamless when starting and stopping each screen-capture.

The AI picks up what you're doing as a user and automatically populates the details for each stage.

It takes seconds to create a guide and share it.

It's a cost-effective solution given the time it saves us.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The redacting feature is very useful when used manually, but the auto-detect feature isn't always completely accurate. Just a consideration when it comes to data that needs to be removed. Takes a little extra time to tweak after.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping to build knowledge base of system usage and routine tasks

  ### 11. Scribe is a great tool for documentation and/or training

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon R. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The screen capture is extremely useful when paired with the voice dictation. I can create easy-to-follow guides for training and/or documentation.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The voice dictation could use some work. I have found that I usually have to go in and edit most of the text manually.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now, I'm going through a major edit of my company's website. I'm able to screen capture the various pages on our site and make notes along with those caps. I've also used it help create some training documents for our sales team.

  ### 12. Excellent, easy to use tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leah H. | Coop Claims Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love how easy it is to edit a scribe once I've created it. I am able to crop, redact and markup the photo as needed to bring attention to a certain part of the photo I'm using as an example. I also love the voice transcription feature to help save time from me typing out the instructions. Additionally, I love the "guide me" feature that helps guide the user through any scribe tutorial.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

My only suggestion at this point for improvement would be to allow me to view the feedback comments left on my video while I'm in the "editing" section. This would allow me to read the feedback comments as I'm editing to make adjustments/improvements.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am currently making SOP's for my workplace and Scribe is very beneficial in helping to capture screenshots and give instructions in a very easy-to-use tool.

  ### 13. Effortless SOP Management with User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan D. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Easy to use and has everyone following the same style of SOPs

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Needs spell check embedded. I've looked silly a few times.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating SOP's and uniformity in doing so.

  ### 14. So convenient and saves time!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily M. | Talent Acquisition Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love that Scribe has a browser extension so I can quickly capture clicks, screenshots, etc. while performing my usual tasks. The additional effort to adjust, edit, redact, etc. is minimal compared to the usual effort of creating an SOP manually. With one of our crucial team members transitioning out soon, I have used it almost daily during training to ensure that all our processes are documented before she departs.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The process of moving steps can sometimes be a little clunky, especially moving the order of steps. There is only a button to send a step all the way to the top or all the way to the bottom, not to bump it up or down one at a time. The click and drag function is not very smooth and ends up taking a long time.
I also would like to be able to delete or edit steps in real time while creating the SOP.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team is very small and previously only one person was using any of our processes, and none of them were documented. With that team member retiring soon, we are using Scribe to capture all of the processes, and also to keep them updated as we change and improve them to accommodate changes on our team.

  ### 15. Helps me train the newbies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David G. | Sales Manager DC/DE/MD/NJ/PA/VA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The Scribe service has been a game-changer for me when it comes to onboarding new salespeople. Instead of having to walk each new rep through our quoting system, CRM, or job tracking tools over and over again, I just record the process once with Scribe. It automatically turns my steps into clean, easy-to-follow guides with screenshots and notes. Now, when someone joins the team, I can hand them a library of how-to’s that show exactly how we do things at Fairway. It saves me a ton of time, cuts down on repeat questions, and makes sure everyone’s learning the right way from day one.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It's a challenge when Its recording the screen and pop ups appear

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Scribe service is a powerful tool that helps streamline the onboarding process for new salespeople by automatically generating step-by-step guides from your existing workflows. Instead of repeatedly walking each new hire through the same systems or processes, you can capture your exact screen actions—like how to enter a lead in the CRM or quote a job—and turn them into easy-to-follow visual instructions. This saves you time, ensures consistency, and gets new team members up to speed faster without missing critical details.

  ### 16. Fast and Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Individual & Family Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I really like how easy Scribe is to use. It’s very quick, and I can get what I need done without a lot of extra steps.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There isn’t much I dislike so far, but I’d like to see more customization options or additional features to make it even more powerful.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe helps me quickly create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) without spending hours writing step-by-step instructions manually. It saves me a lot of time, keeps my processes clear and consistent, and makes it easy to share guides with my team. This means I can focus more on running the business instead of documenting every small task

  ### 17. I can't believe how easy it is to create complex how to guides with Scribe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryony H. | Director of Finance And Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Having had a long career in the operations side of various creative sectors, I understand the merit of making dry and complicated information visually exciting - as well as easy peasy.
Scribe can flexibly produce all sorts of step by step guides and extrapolate the core data and images needed.
I have had to painstakingly create wikis and how to's and emails with countless edited screengrabs and data taking up massive swathes of my time. And usually noone reads them without loads of prompting!!

I wish this had been around years ago. Gamechanger!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Some of the instructions around embedding codes were a bit vague. And I wanted to create lots of different Scribe channels in Teams but not sure the collaboration between them is that slick yet. I am 100% sure that would be a Microsoft issue however.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making it so much easier and quicker to throw together workflows to demonstrate something complex. ie I need to create a scribe to show a walkthrough of our whole invoice procedure to a new pm software supplier. to do this manually with Quicktime and/or screengrabs would take forever...

  ### 18. It has made the training of my staff exponentially easier!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle S. | Controller, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love the fact that it inserts screen shots for you with the place to click highlighted. It separates each step, and it gives you the opportunity to edit the description of the step before publishing, so you can get more specific if the situation warrants. Instead of showing someone how to do something and them taking sometimes insufficient notes, I create the scribe and they can do the steps on their time table and get it correct the first time!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I would really love to be able to record my steps and send my staff a recording of what I did, along with the written scribe.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves me so much time because I only have to show people how to do things once, now. I show them, then send the scribe, and that's the end of it!

  ### 19. So Many Uses Beyond How-Tos!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love the flexibility of Scribe, specifically:
- The ability to pause in the middle of your capture to make clean-up/finalization a breeze
- The ability to add images (non screen-captured) or add steps AFTER you've already made a Scribe
- The ease with which you can share a Scribe/see if someone has viewed it
- The ease of recording a Scribe, esp using the Chrome extension

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The only thing I dislike it sometimes it looks like my Scribe captured something at 100% view, but then I get into the Scribe it's zoomed into 150% (or more) and some of the surrounding context is lost.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- How to guides
- Employee and client onboarding
- UX/UI audits of websites for our clients (e.g., using the hot spot to show different elements of the website that aren't working)

  ### 20. Scribe is Easy to Learn and Very Innovative

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wesley C. | Systems Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is very easy to learn and easy to distribute for others to use and view. It gives a lot of customizability and use cases for any type of workspace

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I can't think of any downsides for Scribe

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is making it much easier to show off and help people learn how to use newer or updated systems in place to avoid confusion

  ### 21. Scribe has been a Great Resource for Corporate training materials

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is an incredibly valuable tool that simplifies documentation and workflow automation. What I like best about Scribe is its ability to effortlessly capture step-by-step processes and convert them into clear, shareable guides. The intuitive interface makes it easy to record actions without any hassle, saving time and ensuring consistency across teams.
Another standout feature is the automatic screenshot and annotation capabilities, which eliminate the need for manual documentation. Whether training new employees or creating SOPs, Scribe streamlines the process with precision and ease. Its integration with various platforms and seamless collaboration features make it an essential tool for anyone looking to improve efficiency and knowledge sharing.
Overall, Scribe is a game-changer for documentation and process management, making workflows smoother and more accessible to everyone

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Importing already existing documents into Scribe is a limitation of scribe. Due to this you will have to recreate all documents from scratch and drag and drop screenshots are not available at this time in Scribe.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is solving several issues for our company including: Ease of use for the user, how quickly we can push out new documents, and has helped create easier to understand instructions.

  ### 22. Love this Helpful Technology!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is wonderful for explaining complex or simple processes in a career, especially with all the drawing tools and redacting tools that can be used on screenshots or the desktop clippings it takes for you as you work. It's super easy to proceed through procedures and have it capture what I am doing.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It doesn't always capture the screen in the window I would like (it zooms in too much or not enough)

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How to explain complex steps to anyone that might cover my role when I am out of the office

  ### 23. Game changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate W. | Manager of Web Strategy, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Without any training or documentation, my team has been able to easily adopt Scribe and has saved us dozens, if not hundreds, of hours in both the process of creating documentation as well as time saved in answering questions by folks in our organization. It's also reduced the amount of back and forth questions we have to ask amongst ourselves. It's truly the best.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I have the smallest little nitpick about the Pages feature. I for the life of me can't figure out how to add Scribes to a page, it only goes the other way. I have to go to the Scribe I want to add and then add it to a page.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Biggest thing? Time savings. The ease of use results in me and my team being able to quickly share information with each other and other folks in our organization with the smallest amount of effort you can imagine.

  ### 24. Wonderful for creating procedures on SaaS programs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe has been incredibly easy for us to pick up and use as we work towards creating documentation of our processes and procedures. The ability to edit the Scribe, to share it out, or to export it to a PDF were all factors in our decision to spend the money for 3-5 seat license. It has been intuitive to implement and we've already documented multiple processes in the 3 weeks that we've been using Scribe!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

My greatest dislike about Scribe is that the desktop version requires 64-bit OS to be installed. This information is nowhere to be found - either before the licenses were purchased or afterwards. We only found this out when emailing with Customer Support to try to find out why we were unable to install the Scribe Desktop App. Disclosing this software requirement would go a long way towards alleviating potential frustration.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is allowing us to create training materials and procedure documentation. This will assist us in the future so that, when necessary, we can have a "road map" to complete essential functions of a position when the employee is on vacation!

  ### 25. Makes SOP making SUPER easy!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susan B. | Marketing & Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

User-friendly, easy to use in browser and desktop (haven't used on mobile yet).

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Haven't found anything that's dislikeable yet honestly.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business has never had documented SOPs, and Scribe is helping us create them for us, without the heavy-lifting of doing it the old school way.

  ### 26. Time Efficient and Great Format

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Using Scribe has massively decreased the time to taken to create SOPs. It has become easier to offshore work to other colleagues or train new staff. The format of the scribes and pages are amazing, easy to read and simple. Scribe itself is also easy to navigate. I have recommend this platform to other colleagues to use too!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I would have like to sort my pages and scribes into personal folders on the web rather than having everything there.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is saving time and making it easier for SOPs to be created with images rather than just long instructions and explanations

  ### 27. Intuitive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruth S. | Vocational Coach, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I appreciate how easy it is to just create a scribe in the middle of my workflow. I'll be working on an assignment, come across something I need to demonstrate to my colleagues; I take about 5 minutes to complete a scribe.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

So far I have no complaints. Oh no a minimum word count.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Software training

  ### 28. Scribe has significantly streamlined the management of workflow processes.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie R. | Data Analyst/Financial Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe has proven to be incredibly beneficial by allowing users to engage directly with the workflow processes while it meticulously tracks each stp taken. This real-time monitoring ensures that every action is documented, making the management of work processes significantly more manageable and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

One limitation of Scribe is that once recording is stopped, users cannot retroactively insert pre-recorded sessions. The only option available is to add typed slides, which can be challenging when demonstrating "If/Then" scenarios. This restriction may hinder the ability to provide comprehensive and dynamic instructions for complex processes.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is instrumental in our company's efforts to develop precise policies and workflow SOP's, even under stringent time management constraints. Its capabilities ensure that our documentation is thorough and accurate, facilitating smoother operations and enhanced productivity.

  ### 29. Effortless to Use with Professional Results

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The software is straightforward to use, and the final results have a polished, professional look.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I am unable to download the movie; the only option available is embedding.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can easily create a guide on how to use my app.

  ### 30. Effortless Documentation, But Lacks Downloadable Video Guides

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harare T. | Digital Innovation Trainer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The step capturing feature with automatic captions really simplifies the documentation process, making it much easier to manage.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

One issue I have is that the generated video or movie guides cannot be downloaded.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The business processes are not documented.

  ### 31. Wow what a great time saver !

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff R. | Executive Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Wow for web based tasks, this thing rocks it does a great job of recording everything, flagging the links in the image and allowing me to customize the text for each "slide" It saves me a ton of time.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It was a little more difficult to get the desktop app to function as smoothly as the Web app, but after a while I was able to get it right, and it is also great.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am transitioning out of my current position and want to leave detailed instructions for those that will be following me on my tasks, this is a great way to do that.

  ### 32. I was able to explain complex tool processes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe makes documenting processes so much faster and clearer. Instead of manually writing step-by-step guides, I can just record my workflow, and it automatically creates clean, easy-to-follow instructions. It saves me a lot of time and helps my teammates follow along without confusion.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Sometimes the formatting isn’t exactly how I’d like it, and I need to make a few manual edits to polish the output.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe makes it easy to capture and share processes without spending hours writing manuals. It solves the problem of inconsistent or unclear documentation in our team, and it helps new members get up to speed faster.

  ### 33. Scribe Helps Crush Technical Debt by Automating Process Documentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe has become an essential tool for reducing technical debt in our environment. It's incredibly effective for quickly documenting repeatable processes, especially for Service Desk and CSIRT teams. The automatic step-by-step capture saves hours compared to traditional screenshots and manual write-ups. We use it to standardize SOPs, create just-in-time guides for escalations, and accelerate new hire onboarding. The ability to embed, share, and export guides with minimal friction is a huge win for operational efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The AI-generated descriptions tend to be a bit overhyped and lack context without manual input. It would be helpful if the platform prompted for key details or intent during creation to make the output more relevant. That said, the generative AI capabilities feel like a work in progress and have solid potential as they continue to evolve.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is solving the chronic issue of undocumented processes and the reliance on tribal knowledge, particularly in fast-moving technical teams like Service Desk, Infrastructure/Networking, Applications and Cyber Security. Before Scribe, creating SOPs was time-consuming and often deprioritized. Now, we can capture workflows in real time, ensuring procedures are consistent, repeatable, and accessible to everyone. It’s reduced onboarding time, cut down on escalations, and helped us scale support without scaling chaos. It's also been key in addressing technical debt by formalizing undocumented legacy processes.

  ### 34. Effortless Knowledgebase Creation, just needs wider Browser Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Putting walkthroughs and process documents together used to be not only time consuming, but also ad hoc. Now it’s super quick and I’m passively building a knowledgebase!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Browser support outside of Chrome needs some attention, even among other Chromium browsers. It’s testament to the product that I switched back to Chrome just to use it though!

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making consistent guides and having somewhere for them to live while I decide how when and where to deploy them.

  ### 35. Simple and Powerful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsey S. | Director of Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It was incredibly easy to get started and start integrating into our workflow. Very easy to update and adjust the trainings as you make them. Love the feature of being able to export into a word doc and other tools.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Wish I had more time to dive into all the features.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating trainings and tutorials for staff.

  ### 36. Virtual assistance, training, instructions, processes & MORE!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

SCRIBE is the BEST overall! User friendly, simple and quick to use. In the construction industry our team is spread out all over CA so when a team member needs me (HR) I use SCRIBE to get them what they need accurately and fast. I have use SCRIBE daily to provide step by step instructions such as: How to log on to our HRIS, Arcoro online portal, How to access annual training in Arcoro, How to access paystubs on the Arcoro Employee Portal, How to request time off, How to access and complete Health benefits open enrollment and much, much more. My favorite is that I can create and provide this support in English and Spanish with SCRIBE by translating all of my SCRIBES myself. It makes translating fun, easy and fast.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I have been using SCRIBE for 2 years now and to be honest as of now I have NOT came across anything in SCRIBE that I dislike. It has tons of features and I use them as I need them so it is safe to say I have not used all of it's features so maybe as I use more and more features I might have a first dislike. As of today I LOVE all the parts and features in SCRIBE that I have used.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using SCRIBE makes providing employee / team support much easier and faster. It benefits me (HR) because it avoids team members coming into the office to see me for instruction or training guidance. Both the employee and I save time, drive time, company time and money overall. In the Construction Industry our team is spread out over CA depending on where our project sites are located so when a field employee has to leave the work site it can hinder the work flow and schedule. SCRIBE allows us to maximize our tech use and supports going green such as paperless. I can provide written and visual instructions electronically in minutes. It makes my team feel supported and important when they get what they need in a matter of minutes.

  ### 37. Unofficial Ambassador of Scribe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erika L. H. | People & Culture Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

What I love most about Scribe is how incredibly easy it was to get started — no steep learning curve, just dive in and go. Within minutes, I was creating step-by-step guides that actually made sense. It’s fast, effective, and kind of feels like having a secret productivity superpower.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I would love to see the ability to create instructional videos, to accommodate different learning styles.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is helping solve the challenge of documenting processes for crossover training, onboarding, and everyday how-to guides. Instead of spending hours manually writing instructions, we can now create clear, visual step-by-step guides in minutes. It’s made knowledge sharing faster, more consistent, and way easier for new team members to get up to speed.

  ### 38. Save Me A Lot of Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** June Yee L. | Chief Technology Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scrive save me a lot of time for writing software patch, guideline, onboarding tutorial etc. Use to manually screenshot each step of pressing button links on website now it's so convenient. It even have desktop app which make it even more useful.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Not really dislike but I wish they could have some sort of AI feature for the text generated instead of "Click here"

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed up documentation

  ### 39. Scribe is an phenomenal!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zakir D. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I can create training docs really quickly for internal use and for our customers. With so many options out there (Zoom, videos, docs ect...) Scribe is by far the best option out there.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It would be great to be able to also make instructional videos with Scribe. I read somewhere that this option my now be available but I havent found it.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe allows me to create professional guides really quickly! With the pages features, I can collate all the Scribes in one place on a particular topic. My internal staff find Scribe really helpful and the feedback form our customers has been excellent!

  ### 40. Really Easy to Use—Just Hit Play and Crack On!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Really easy to use, hit record and crack on!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Only real issue is that it copies whatever page you are on when you start.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Writing out instructions.

  ### 41. The BEST process documentation software around

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The whole process of signing up to, testing and implementing Scribe has been incredibly easy and straightforward. We've been using the program for the last 6 months and our team have been using it to document every process both old and new. Having the flexibility to use within the browser or the desktop makes documentation so easy, then the shareability of documents within our teams and across our existing systems has been second to none.

The how to guides and account setup prompts made integration a breeze. Any issues we've faced have been easily resolved through the support channels too!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The in-program documentation and storage is simple to use, however some more customisation options with team and folder settings would increase usability

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our need to better document new processes, particularly across system rollouts and change implementation, means user guides are essential. Scribe takes away the pain and hassle of undertaking this process and makes users actually WANT to document their work.

  ### 42. User-Friendly Interface, But Needs Smoother Workflow and More Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like how easy it is to use it. very friendly interface. I would like to see more features added in the future.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

sometimes steps could be jumpy, i have to use screenshots to fill up the gaps.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I dont have to record video of me talking and working thru the file. i can just go thru the actions and explain it in more 'professional' terms.

  ### 43. Scribe is the SOP-Generator you've ever dreamed of

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dianne O. | Senior Manager, QA & Continuous Improvement, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The time-consuming part about writing SOPs is capturing the step-by-step instructions via screenshots. Scribe does this automatically so that I can be completing a project while creating an SOP at the same time. The use of AI generated instructions and descriptions is also time-saving.

It is easy to implement, whether using the link to share the SOP or by creating a PDF. You can also generate a step-by-step video using the screen shots taken.

I also like that I am able to create folders and sort my Scribes into the folders.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I don't have any dislikes about Scribe at this current time.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time-constraints with writing SOPs. It is benefiting me as it is saving me time and it is helping my staff navigate through complex tasks without my supervision.

  ### 44. Simple Screen Grab and Document Creation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I loved the fact that there is a Guide Me feature. I also like how easy it is to use and manage the recordings and edit them.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It would be nice to be able to rearrange the sequence of events, or when you edit. Manually add another scene. Could be a lack of understanding on the product on my part, but I don't see a way to do that.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating work instructions. Was that are fairly "idiot proof" so we're able to guide users through processes seamlessly.

  ### 45. Seemless and very convenient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arjay Lems Louise C. | Revenue Cycle Readiness Billing Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Since we have a big team with many different departments, making scribes to visually show the steps in doing a specific task does us wonders—it saves a ton of time! We use this almost daily to help out all of our other departments that are new to the task, and it just takes a few clicks to add it to your browser.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

More editing features like painting over the screenshots instead of blurring them would make the screenshots more aesthetically pleasing, but apart from that, it's a great tool that saves a ton of time!

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The need to hop into meetings just to explain a certain task.

  ### 46. Scribe is a game changer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe has supercharged our ability to guide users through business processes across our non profit organization. What once required lengthy explanations, repeated 1:1 trainings, or back-and-forth troubleshooting can now be handled with a simple, easy-to-follow Scribe guide.

By documenting key workflows with Scribe, we've significantly reduced the amount of time our Technology and Infrastructure Support teams spend walking users through processes. Instead of responding to the same questions multiple times, our team can direct users to clear, visual guides that walk them through each step. This has freed up valuable staff time, improved user confidence, and accelerated task completion across departments.

The ability to quickly generate documentation as we work—without needing to write it out manually—has allowed us to build a robust, scalable knowledge base with minimal effort. It’s made supporting both new and seasoned staff more efficient, consistent, and sustainable.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

One area where we see room for improvement is around licensing and user access. As a nonprofit organization, budget is always a consideration, and we wish there were a more cost-effective way to license read-only users. Currently, the per-user pricing makes it challenging for us to enforce login and track engagement across a wider group of staff, especially when those users only need to view—not create—Scribes.

Having the ability to license readers separately at a lower cost would allow us to better manage access, ensure users are referencing the most up-to-date materials, and gain insights into which guides are most helpful—all without significantly increasing our costs.

Additionally, integration with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) for Single Sign-On would be a huge win. It would streamline access management, improve security, and make it easier to onboard and offboard users consistently across our organization.

We’re hopeful that as Scribe continues to evolve, these features will be added to better support organizations like ours that are trying to scale access without breaking the bank.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating documentation used to be a time-consuming and often frustrating process for our team. It required manually capturing screenshots, writing out every step, and formatting everything in a way that made sense to the end user. Since adopting Scribe, that burden has been lifted. Now, we can generate polished, step-by-step guides in real time as we complete tasks, making it significantly easier to create clear, consistent documentation without disrupting our workflow.

**Official Response from Meg Zabrowski:**

> Hi there - Thanks for your review! We support Azure SSO and more cost-effective viewer authentication on our Enterprise plan. if you're interested in learning more, please submit your info at https://get.scribehow.com/sales. Thanks!

  ### 47. Scribe has saved me hours of work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alec R. | Assistant Contoller, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I really like that I can make guides for me team on how to do specific tasks quickly. I was able to make 14 guides in 4 hours. I like that it has the ability to annotate and add text. The biggest thing for me is the time savings. No screenshots, no pasting into word and no annotating in paint. My team likes the guides because they flow easy and are easy to read.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

They have AI for the description. I wish they had AI doe the steps. I provide more context in my steps, and I can get a little wordy. Would appreciate AI to make the steps I manually compose more concise.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's giving me time back in my day and making it less of a daunting task to make step by step guides.

  ### 48. Should Have Been Using Scribe Much Sooner

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David G. | Operations Leader, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love that I am able to take my convoluted thoughts and use Scribe to create a concise learning path for the rest of my team. It creates efficiencies and saves time! Every time we walk through something new we use scribe to capture it so we do not have to recreate the steps we took.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

that one is tricky, I can't think of anything that I dislike.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating all of the learning tool for every process we have on place!

  ### 49. A timesave for sure !

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

With a click of a button, every step made is recorded with clear screenshots. I've been using the product for about a month, and it has made my tasks a lot easier. PowerPoint presentations are much easier to make as I can do a task, then simply use the screen shots that I need by copy and paste. Training material is much easier and I don't forget any steps needed to do the complete task. I'm sure that I can find even better ways to utilize the software as I work with it more. I do like being able to pause the recording during a task, many times we may have to go to another program and we don't need those included to only have to be deleted later.

Loading the application was very simple and putting the icon in the tray makes it very easy to use with any program. I haven't need to contact Customer Support as of now. This is a program that I use at least once a week and sometimes more.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The editing is a bit clumsy and takes a bit of time to get used to it. I also don't like having to remove a red bubble on every screenshot. That would be easier if you didn't have to go thru the editing process to remove it.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Updating SOP's is much easier; a task that had been delayed due to the time needed to do it is now progressing at a steady pace. Material for a training series is being gathered in less than an hour for each module.

  ### 50. This is an excellent use of AI!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nat:H Projects H. | Boss, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Loved using Scribe ever since I saw it on a YouTube AD

I think the amount of money is quite fair for its feature set.

Saves me a lot of time

LOVE the ability to work in teams with multiple users

It makes the process so fast and painless.

Easy to customize your step-by-step guides

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

So far the only thing I'd like to see is for the desktop client to be able to save your scribe locally without having to go to the website to save it, because I sometimes have to use it when I'm not connected to the internet.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves a lot of time
