The good sides are many, it can auto generate PDF and Word files by selecting a group of images. Manage your capture history by workspaces. You can use Google Drive to upload files and edit them online, Optical Character Recognition Software is very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Image editor is not complete enough, crop, enhance, or add effects and filters to pictures, fine-tune your photos...
And it lacks a video editor, to put titles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Being a Software Quality Analyst, I am using this tool for my work. It is very user-friendly. Just click on prt sc button, and it will capture the entire screen, or else we can crop at the time of capture. Also, we can make modifications to the captured image, like highlighting the text, adding a text box, adding numbering, drawing an ellipse.
As a software QA, I will suggest this tool Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
All the features are handy as far screen capture functionality is concerned, but if we talk about screen recording, I have a terrible experience like curser not working properly during recording and lagging I have noticed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that it is easy to install and operate. After you take a screen, a new window appears with many options. You can crop and edit the image, add text, numbering, highlight specific areas of the image and even blur a region. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing really to dislike. It does what it is supposed to do. The only minor disadvantage (if I can call it that) is that if a new update is available, it does not let you use the software unless you have updated to the latest version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a very good app for taking screenshots.
I like the tools for postprocessing screenshots:
- Tools that draw arrows and borders. A nice choice of simple shapes. Nothing too fancy (yeah, simplicity is a benefit!).
- The tool that cuts a part of a picture. It's handy for removing blank areas from screehnshots.
The free version includes everything that I need (and it gives the permission to use the resulting screenshots in commercial products). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Screenpresso doesn't offer a way to correct individual pixels. I do it a lot when I take screenshots for my guides. Sometimes I copy/paste letters to combine them into a fake user name. Sometimes I remove button backgrounds by changing the color of pixels around them. I have to switch to Microfost Paint for this. Screenpresso alone doesn't cover all my needs but a combo of Screenpresso and Paint does. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a lot that you can do with screnpresso,
For Ex.
1. you can define your print screen region,
2. If you don't want to define, the screenpresso will intelligently change the screen region to the defined dialog box.
3. There is an option to record the video with audio and you can convert them to Mp4 for whatever reason you may need.
4. There is also "Optical Character Recognition" feature, which is very handy. this helps to read any text from the image it grabs.
Overall a very user friendly tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. The Video recording file is too huge - I wish there were an option to compress them in screenpresso to share them easily.
2. The picture editing window should have more editing options - like edit background, change color, etc, much like a photo editing software.
3. I wish there ware an option to compare images used screenpresso without depending on third-party software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very easy to use, directly integrated with the print screen button, the image editor has all the useful options to create and annotate the captured image, I also like the auto-selection of the valid windows for capturing. Also for custom capture, it shows the magnifier at the corners for smooth and perfect adjustment. Also, it provides a delayed capture option which could be very useful in certain places. Also, there is the history of captures easily available for searching in the quick menu options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Video recording feature is not the best, I mostly use ScreenPresso for image capture.
The screen capture with auto-scroll is a little bit tricky to use, needs some time to get used to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Best features is taking screenshots, highlighting, adding annotate. Over all helpful in creating a good visually enhanced meaningful screenshot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At times I found the features heavy and application response time is bit more than you expected Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most modern out-of-the-box look & feel for annotation elements. The customization of those elements is even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That it isn't cloud-based and is able to come back and edit annotations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
