What do you like best about Scout Talent Software?

Scout is the program my organisation uses the most for our vacancy advertisements. It is an easy program to use and takes a lot of hard work out of advertsing for you. Steps are easy to follow, not a lot of prior knowledge is needed to use and it's prompting allows you to reach a wider group of candidates.

Once your posting is listed and candidates begin to apply, quick summaries of candidate's application are provided, meaning you don't have to keep navigating in and out of a candidate's profile to know who they are and whether they'll be a good fit to the role.

Another great feature is how customisable Scout is, from your required questionnaire with applications, to mandatory attached evidence, to how the questions appear during the application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scout Talent Software?

The program can be overloaded when posting lots of jobs at once, Scout often crashing and not loading as it should.

There are also a lot of steps required for one simple job posting - when posting a large number of ads, this is incredibly time-consuming, often taking up to 30 minutes per ad to finalise the posting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Scout Talent Software?

Having candidates emailed to the hiring manager as they apply so they can shortlist a little at a time - stops hiring managers having 100 to go through when the ad closes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Scout Talent Software?

I like how easy it is to use. It holds years of information which can be helpful for backtracking. I use scout every day in my position. Their customer support is also very helpful and they respond very quickly to me.

I use almost all of the features Scout Hire has to offer. Updating status is easy to navigate. As well as external emails and sending emails to candidates. I great feature that was recently updated was notes on a profile and seeing all activity. This has been a great addition and is very useful to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Management of documents and high numbers of applicants.

Standardised recruitment for fairness across applicants.

Ability to categorize applications as unseccessful, and shortlisted.

What do you dislike about Scout Talent Software?

I would like an option for collaboration on the shortlisting. For example, i may go through and list a bunch as unseccessful but someone else from my panel may disagree but there isnt really a way to reflect this unless we are sitting together as we do the shortlisting. Also would be good to be able to add a comment to the applicants that you can see on the list view so you remember your thoughts on each one or the questions you have for each one from that list view. What do you like best about Scout Talent Software?

I manage several programs including one that requires on-going recruitment. The software keeps a record of all the job postings and applicants and allows the user to update their status and store all documents including their interview responses. It was very easy to use and required just a qucik tutorial from our administrator to get started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scout Talent Software?

Like most software programs, glitches occur. At times some of the job postings assigned to me were not showing on my dashboard - this was, however, an easy fix. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
