Unclear why, but the overall experience has progressively gotten worse. The Word plugin has lost most of its search abilities, and unable to add new articles outside of PubMed (no DOI search, no arXiv search). Does not support arXiv citations or format by default requiring manual entry. The mobile/iPad app has similarly lost functionality, including basic OAuth login. A little buggy here and there, but support chat is wonderful and very supportive.
